Harvey's House Painting

I was totally satisfied with the performance of Harveys House Painting when they painted both the interior and exterior of my house. Rich Harvey was able to come to my house the day after I first contacted him to provide a quote which turned out to be very competitive with other quotes I received. By hiring him well before I needed to have the job done, he was able to do the painting on my schedule. His crew always arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They did a through job of prepping everything before hand. Not only did they paint but his crew also replaced some window trim which was damaged due to dry rot. All in all, I was very happy with the way the job was done and I will definitely call Rich again when I need to do anymore painting.

If stars were given I would give them a 5 out of 5. They weren't very friendly and helpful but they did a beautiful job and I'm very happy with their work.

He's coming back to fill in the holidays. Rich sent his employee Israel to touch up the holidays. He was very pleasant and fixed up the holidays quickly and cleanly. Very satisfied! I would strongly recommend Harvey's House Painting as a company that stands by their reputation and goes out of their way to make sure their clients are satisfied.

I called Harveys house Paint company because we used him the year before for the interior of our home. We liked how it turned out and thought we would get a bid from him. We had bids from 3 company's and Rich met the price of the lower bid. The whole experience was great. They came out and did an excellent job of power washing the house, then started painting. After they painted and back rolled the house, Rich came out and said to put another coat on it. Wow! The house looks great! His team that worked on the house, was so nice, professional and hard working. We are soooo happy with how our house looks.

We contacted Harvey's House Painting and Rich Harvey came out and walked the property and then kindly gave an estimate regarding the work we wanted done. I was very impressed with his business attitude and aptitude, his painting expertise and experience, and the overall confidence he had for the doing of the job. I had read the reviews of his work on Angie's List and decided this was the company who could do what we wanted at a good price. My husband agreed. A few days later, Rich came to the house and took a part of our drainpipe, with permission, so that the color we wanted could be matched. Good as his word, the two colors were just what we wanted. One was a sort of burnt red and the other a lovely cream. Juan and Roberto arrived around 8 AM on Thursday and set right to work with the power washing. Later when all was dry, they proceeded to paint the front door and the eaves. I am so glad there are people who are at ease on such very tall ladders. On Friday, Juan and another gentleman arrived around the same time and painted all of the fascia and the fence. We were using two different colors and all worked out perfectly. When all of the work was completed each day, the areas were left in orderly fashion even with their equipment. On the last day, all was swept up and one would not know anything had been going on. Rich, Juan, Roberto, and the other gentleman were very nice, respectful, and great to have around! We would definitely hire this company again.

Rich was great. Very professional, clean, punctual, and his team did an excellent job. We had the interior of our house painted and they were by far the best painters I've ever used. Highly recommended.

From protecting the fixtures and carpets to the end result... I couldn't be happier. They were kind, honest and professional. Rich Harvey runs an excellent business. I've already recommended his service to a friend and I would definitely use them again!

My wife and I closed a week early on our new home. Before we moved in we wanted to have the interior painted, but were struggling to find somebody who could fit into our last minute, tight schedule. Rich Harvey, came to the house, met with our realtor, and worked up an estimate. Not only was his estimate lower than his competitors, but his estimate included a whole lot more. Other estimates we received were for walls and trim. Rich put together an estimate that included walls, ceilings, trim, closets, and all of our closet doors. In a nearly 2500 sq foot home, that's a lot of work! The best part was that Rich understood our window of opportunity was tight. Our closing happened on a Friday and we met Rich at the house that day. The next morning, a crew of 5 guys were in the house prepping the job. The job was finished in 3 days. Rich wasn't on site during the painting, but checked in regularly. If I had questions, he was available to talk. His crew was 100% professional and easy to work with. I shared this story with Rich and I'll share it with everyone here. On the day the project was supposed to be finished, I stopped by the house and looked around. It didn't look like it was going to be done. I asked the main guy and he said "don't worry, we still have to do some touch up work." Me, being somebody who is a worrier, called my wife and told her that I didn't think it was going to be done, and that if it was, that it wasn't going to look good. Three hours later, I get a call saying that the job was complete. I gotta be honest. I was nervous. That evening, I went back to the house with my wife and when I opened the door, I was AMAZED! In the last three hours Rich's crew made the house look spectacular!! Between the touch up work, the final clean up, and everything else they did, my wife and I were thrilled with the final results!! In a few years, we plan on painting the exterior of our home and we would definitely use Harvey's House Painting again!!

I could not be happier with the job he did and the price I paid. He helped out with the color selection, He and his men did an absolutely beautiful job on my property. He and his crew were just great. I already recommended him to one of my best friends and they are going to use him to paint their house, and I would not hessitate to use Rich again in the future. Not only was the paint job fantastic, but he left the place even cleaner than when he arrived!........I give Rich and his crew an A+++++

From the beginning starting with the estimate, Rich was very professional. He took time with color selection and was helpful in coming to a decision. His foreman Julio was prompt and showed concern througout the job. The job was completed with no messes and care was taken to ensure this wouldn't happen. Very happy with the work performed!

He is a very pleasant man and his team did the work on my house, it's absolutely wonderful. I really wanted to then to get a good review on Angie's List. I picked them because they already have some great reviews. They really came up to the reviews, they really live up to it. I go to some other bids but they were higher and I picked Harvey not because of the low bid, I already had used them and liked them pretty much the same as everyone and then I get some other bids and they were higher and I really just don't like the people, sometimes I'm very conscious about how people are. It stood out to me how efficient they were, he gave a three day period he said, "We could do it in three days." Now, this is painting all redwood siding around the house and then painting all the wood work even the doors. I thought they will do it in three days, they did it in 2 days, the whole thing, very efficient. I checked it all and it was perfect.

We received four bids from highly rated local painters on Angie's List including Harvey House Painting. We had five key requirements in selecting a painter: (1) Experience and crew (2) Active License/Insurance/Bonded (3) Quality of Service and Reviews (4) Competitive proposal (5) Roll paint, not spray. Harvey's House Painting (Rich) was very responsive, professional, prompt and prepared. He arrived on time for estimate along with a professional company brochure packet which included his current license, proof of insurance/bonded, and Kelly Moore paint swatches, service offerings, and testimonials. In comparison, his brochure packet was the most prepared, thorough and professional. He answered all my questions, concerns and color selection assistance. He also submitted his competitive bid estimate on time as committed. Two of the other painters missed their own committed bid submission due dates. Lastly, I requested specific paint quality listed in contract as I've learned through the years that sometimes painters quote/state a specific quality but arrive with the lowest/cheapest "contractors grade" to maximize profit. Rich had no problems listing the specific paint quality in the estimate and contract.. Ultimately, we selected Harvey's House Painting because he met our five requirements above and simply felt he would try harder then the others. We made a great decision. We scheduled a start date and he arrived on time as agreed. As a side note, Rich always arrived about 15 minutes early and would wait in his truck and knock on our door at scheduled start time. He was never late. They arrived with the agreed/contracted paint quality and started our project. They performed as contracted and actually went above and beyond throughout project. It was a four day job and they cleaned up daily and provided status updates and next steps prior to leaving for the day. Communication was excellent. They are very customer focused, friendly and ensured we were delighted with their services. Overall, he and his crew did a great job and on budget. A job well done! I recommend Harvey's House Painting and will hire him again for any future paint projects.

From our first contact to obtain a quote to the final touch-up, it was a pleasure working with Rich Harvey and his crew. Everyone was responsive, on-time (or called if they were delayed) and patiently answered all of our questions. They were extremely careful while in our home and very, very accommodating. They paid attention to the details of the job and made an extra effort to assure we were satisfied. The price was commensurate with the work performed. We are pleased with their work and happy we chose Harvey. We will use this contractor again in the near future.

We needed the inside of our rental painted under a very tight timeline. We chose Rich Harvey because he responded timely, provided an very reasonable estimate and clearly understood our needs and concerns. He and his team did a great job painting the rental with only minor touch ups required. In fact, they painted more than we were expecting and the rental wonderful. We won't hesitate to call Rich again for future painting needs.

Rich's team painted the interior of our home in three days. This included walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors, and crown molding. HIs team was courteous, considerate of our schedule, and punctual. We're very pleased with the results and selected Rich out of the four bids we got for our painting project. We will certainly consider having Rich do the exterior of our house next year.

Rich was a pleasure to work with and his workers are friendly and interactive with us. Rich matched our desired colors exactly and my wife was very pleased with the results. Rich also provided good advice on our concerns of exactly how to separate the living room and kitchen colors so that they flowed great. The workmanship was excellent, They were very careful to cover the floors to eliminate any spatter on the floors. The communication with Rich was excellent, he kept us advised as to the progress and completed times. Rich also painted our new shed with the same care and workmanship as the house.

After providing an estimate for the painting, I confirmed and accepted the proposal to start the work. The owner, Rich Harvey told me he would arrive at 0830 Hours on 1/3/14 and arrived 1/2 hour earlier than expected. The painting was completed on 1/5/14 with minor touch up work that needed to be done, however Rich Harvey bent over backwards to complete the work. I would use and recommend this company to anyone interested

Because of rain, the exterior painting of our home has been delayed. However, Rich was prompt in contacting us to let us know that weather would delay the job, and provided new dates.

We bought a new house and wanted to move in, in two weeks. Rich came out and gave us a very good bid. He started when he said he he would and worked around other craftsmen. Rich was,very accomandating to the different things i,wanted done. It took a little longer than first anticipated, but was finished in time for the move in. His work was excellent and we plan on using him when we paint the exterior of the house.

Rich was able to match up the color of the outside paint perfectly (since we didn't have any paint from the previous job), and he did an excellent job. His price quote was very fair and right in the middle of the other bids I had received. I will definitely use him again for future paint jobs, both inside and outside.

Rich Harvey/owner is very responsive and returned my calls quickly even when he was on vacation with family. We were considering another painter with similar quote and Rich lowered his quote. We are very glad we chose Harvey's House Painting! Original estimate was $4500. We have a single-story 1943 sq ft house that had considerable dry rot. We also had 3 plant shelves below windows removed. Once his contractor/Joe began removing damaged window trim to replaced, he discovered additional rot in the siding. Rich provided another written contract to include additional t-111 siding and labor. Final cost was $5300. Joe was very conscientious and did great job replacing the damaged wood and cleaned up each day before leaving. Prep took 4 days. Rich came by daily to check progress. Rich did all of the painting himself. He helped me choose colors and brought some samples to try on the exterior before making my final choice. The south side of house, which had the most damage, was primed first. Then he sprayed and backrolled, two coats. Rich was very meticulous and did a beautiful job painting the contrasting trim. He also painted front and back doors and replaced the hardware. Painting took 2 1/2 days. Our house looks beautiful now, and we have gotten many compliments from our neighbors. We highly recommend Harvey's House Painting!

Wonderful. Service was professional, and of the highest quality. The most important part of any painting project is the prep work, and Rich puts the time in to make sure it is done correctly. This provides a clean accurate job done right the first time. The job required 7 rooms with 7 different colors, with all ceilings offset with white. Naturally, this increased labor and prep time and was handled professionally. Additionally, the job started on day one with two of the crew quitting without notice and Rich completed the job with one additional man without any problem. The project did run longer than originally estimated, but this was no problem for me or Rich's schedule and was completed to my satisfaction. I will recommend Rich Harvey Painting to anyone and I have already told him that I will use him again as the exterior is my next painting project.
