Harvey's House Painting

They did a great job. They put on two coats, and the brought out so many samples. My neighbor and i wanted to get our duplex painted, and he probably brought out 8 different paints before we decided. We went down to Sherman William's paint to pick it up, and it all went great. We had a few different estimates, and we ended up going with Harvey's because we really liked how he treated us.

The painter showed up on time and did a great job. He had a little extra time at the end and found a couple of other items to paint for me. I will definitely hire again.

Rich was prompt and courteous. He is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his company. He also helped me choose colors and used high quality paint. His crew was very thorough and cleaned everything. (I have had previous painters who trampled plants and were sloppy about the work area but not with this crew! They carefully moved potted plants and covered everything.) Rich sent two of his men back after the initial paint job to finish the doors and do a walk-through inspection to make sure I was satisfied. There was one door that had a couple of drips, which were promptly sanded and repainted to perfection. I will definitely use Harveys House Painting again.

The pressure washing was completed one day before the actual painting. On time and quick work. The following day, Rich's crew arrived right on time and didn't hesitate to get started. Once the painting plan was communicated, the crew immediately started prepping the back deck. After one coat of stain, they started on the front trim and then went back for the second coat on the back deck. Then work started on the front porch. Moving efficiently from one task to another, everything was eventually completed with beautiful results. These guys really know their job! I would definitely recommend Harvey's House Painting to anyone that needs smaller touchups like me or painting a whole house. They are professional and efficient. Mark is willing to work to solve scheduling problems as well. Can't beat that!

The project went great I would definitely hire them again. The painters were prompt, friendly and professional. I felt totally comfortable with them in the house. They did a great job prepping the room for painting and left the room exactly how they found it- which I didn't expect. There were several areas that needed patching and those areas looked great after being painted. They were extremely neat and careful to move and cover furniture to avoid getting paint on anything. They were also very good about opening the windows, and I hardly smelled any paint in the rest of the house. When they left, the room was completely neat, and everything put back in place. The owner, Rich, came by to check on their progress. He was very friendly and professional. Overall they totally exceeded my expectations and I will hire them again in the future.

We received 3 quotes to paint the exterior of our home and we chose Harvey's because of their competitive price and it seemed like they were the right company for us. I can't say enough about Rich, the owner. He was wonderful from start to finish. Very nice guy and very knowledgeable. He sent AJ out first to provide us with some samples we requested. AJ painted the samples on the house in different locations so we could see which one looked the best when it was actually on the house. It took us nearly a week, but we finally chose our colors. He then sent 3 guys on a Monday to do the power washing, caulking, and minor repairs. His crew of 4 guys showed up on-time, first thing Tuesday morning to do the painting. His entire team was great!. Punctual, very friendly, hard working, and very detailed. They worked all day long and were able to finish that day. They were very good about the clean up too. He even had his crew paint my sons playhouse at no extra charge. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with how it turned out and will definitely recommend them to others. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Rich!

I got bids for the exterior painting job late last fall. Rich Harvey, owner, arrived on time and gave me an estimate and was very clear about procedures his crew would follow. He also warrantied the paint job for 8 years against peeling and flaking. He left a folder detailing the pre-paint process and check list, so I would know exactly what to expect ,and to look for while his crew was working. His bid was the highest, but his knowledge and attention to detail made it worthwhile for me. I accepted his bid, and waited until March when he called to schedule the work. The actual painting was delayed twice, due to rain. When he and his prep crew of three finally arrived, Rich took time to help us decide on paint colors. The crew power-washed all the buildings, caulking and sealing where necessary. They took great care to protect all the vegetation close to the buildings, per my request. Next day, the 3-man paint crew primed where needed and back-rolled the new T-111 on south side of garage. Two coats of paint were applied. I was pleased with their attention to detail, neat work,. and safe worksite. They left everything as clean as they found it. This company gives very good value for the cost.

Crew was excellent, very friendly, and worked efficiently. However, Rich commits to things and doesn't follow through. Scheduling was more difficult than it should be and there seems to be a bit of a communication issue as the crew showed up at our home and not the rental home which was communicated via email and a phone conversation .

They did a terrific job, in a timely fashion, with excellent edging work with the contrasting colors. They were great guys (Luis and Wilmer), being both friendly and professional. Before they left, I was all ready preplanning my next painting job with Harvey's House Painting. Rich Harvey came by to check out my degree of satisfaction, and I felt that the guys had way-surpassed my expectations.

It went really well! I first contacted Rich and he answered right away and we discussed what I wanted to do, and set a time for him to stop by for an estimate. Once we agreed on a time, it took several iterations to decide on the color scheme which took some time. Rich's team showed up right on schedule (with Rich in tow), were very polite and professional, and completed the job in less than one day. I am very pleased with how they worked together, and made minor adjustments at my request. Everything was clean and tidy when they finished, and I am already thinking about the next project. I will say that I signed off on the colors but the accent didn't turn out as I expected, so we're talking about options now. But that's not their fault...it's mine! Rich is a great guy to work with, and his team is also very good! I will definitely hire them again!

What a great experience. Rich showed up on time with his guys. I had informed Rich that I had removed a mirror from the bathroom wall and it needed some TLC before painting. Rich quickly assessed the wall and indicated that he needed to send another painter out to repair the wall and re-texture it before painting. We agreed on a day for the painter to come out. After that, the 2 painters got right to work. They used protective tape and coverings to protect everything. They were careful to remove a Tiffany overhead light fixture so as to not damage it. One of the painters told us that the previous paint that was used on the doors and molding was oil-based and that in order to do the best job possible, he should prime it with a product called, Shellac. I had other painting done in my house and the previous painters never told me that. As a result, some of the paint is now peeling off. I appreciated the suggestion and ran to the paint store to buy the produce. It was quite expensive but Rich passed his discount along to us. The guys worked quickly to complete the work and we are very pleased with the results. Out bedroom looks like a brand new room. We can't wait to get our new furniture delivered. I will definitely use Harvey's House Painting again in the future. They are a class act. Thanks so much!

.Everything was handled extremely well. The crew showed up on time, masked or removed everything that required protection, and painted with considerable skill. The job required 12 hours, approximately. The place looks great, there was virtually no clean up of paint drops, and the crew made a point of cleaning up everything they brought from paper over floors to equipment.

Rich Harvey's employees arrived on time and got right to work, carefully covering the hardwood floors, light fixtures and other items that could not be removed from the rooms. Juan and Julio were cheerful, mannerly and provided excellent workmanship. We interviewed 3 other providers, but chose Rich Harvey's company because he appeared to really know appropriate painting techniques for a specialized surface. Also, Rich's price was the best value. We are very pleased with the quality of service, the attention to detail, and the professionalism displayed by the employees as well as the value. We would definitely use Rich Harvey's service again..

Rich Harvey was great to work with. After sending a message inquiring about an estimate, he was really quick to respond. When I sought out to get an estimate I was not planning to start the painting right away cause I assumed it would be weeks before he could fit me into my schedule. But he was efficient and quick and accommodated me within days of giving me an estimate. He showed up with his team on-time and the crew was extremely professional and finished the job quickly. The crew really was amazing. Days later I am still impressed by the paint job and the crew. They were very respectful and took great pride in doing a good job. I would definitely refer friends to this company and would use again.

Working w Rich Harvey was very easy and he was very professional, really a joy to work with. Since I live out or town I appreciated Rich working hard to meet my schedule. The painting of the house was done over a holiday weekend and that may have had something to do w the quality as the crew may have rushed. There was an area of trim missed and clean up was not great. The front doors was done in a very short time and did not look good (although better than what it was). Rich came to review on the day after the work was completed and pointed out to me my concerns before I did and said he would have them corrected. We came to an agreement on the door and the remainder of the home was completed and cleaned up and I am. Extremely satisfied w the work. I plan to hire them when I do my interior painting in the near future

He had to match the color to the existing walls. We had some leftover paint to use. He was able to make the wall look like the rest of the house. He was professional, timely, and cleaned up. I would hire him again.

Harvey's was excellent. Did our whole house (ceiling, walls, trim) in three days. Job was excellent (looks fantastic), price fair, painters worked hard and late, everyone was very responsive. We threw them some curve balls. Added the ceilings after the bid - no problem. Changed some colors - no problem. Our exterior will need painting soon and we'll use them again. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure working with Rich. He is very personable, knowledgeable and highly professional. His crew did an amazing job and cleaned up well after the work was finished. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely use his company again should we need further painting done.

We hired Harvey's House Painting because out of three painting company's, he was punctual on his time for our proposal. To us that meant a lot. First he fixed the places that had dry rot, then sanded the old paint off the house. Then after we picked out our colors, which he had several samples to choose from I might add. His crew did the painting,trim, and the third accent color in a very timely manner. He also painted our shed out back to match the house at no extra charge. Once the painting was done, we decided to take off a basketball hoop that was above the garage we'd overlooked. It was no big deal for him to remove it and paint accordingly. He's not worried about how much time it take's, he focuses on the job being done right. Which was not only good to hear but to actually see his crew do things in a professional manner. You knew when to expect them and about when they would wrap it up on a daily basis. Always keeping in close contact while away at work etc. We are very satisfied with his work and highly recommend him.

Rich, the owner was nice to deal with...

Rich and his guys were very professional and very quick. Rich was able to squeeze my into his already filled schedule because I was worried about the bare wood exposed on my home and wanted to get it done quickly before it started to rain a lot. I cannot believe how quickly they were able to do my home, and I had absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The paint job was beautiful and they left my home very clean after each visit. I highly recommend them and will definitely look to use them in the future for any painting needs that I have.

It went great! It took the crew two days to complete the house which is about 2000 sq ft. The fist day was prep and spraying the ceiling and painting the first of two coats of paint on the walls. The second day they painted the second coat and trim work. I installed chair rails around the entire downstairs and had them paint two different colors above and below the chair rails. They did an awesome job! The house looked brand new after they painted it. My biggest concern is having strangers in my house doing any work. But the crew was wonderful. They obviously enjoyed working together and were very attentive to how I wanted the paint scheme to look. At the end of the job I did a detail oriented inspection and found just a couple details that I wanted painted a certain way which they took care of in an immediate and friendly way. I would hire this company for any painting job I have in the future.
