Description of Work: Trimmed a persimmon tree - but completely botched the instructions - trimmed off all lower branches, leaving all fruit high. Plan was to crop top to encourage fruit on lower limbs. To Dave's credit, he admitted the mistake and will return to supply another service when we need it to compensate us for what is now virtually a useless tree.

I was so pleased with their performance that I hired them back to trim a large fruitless mulberry that I had planted forty years ago too close to the fence with my neighbors and it had grown over into their yard. The crew again did an excellent job on the trimming and follow-up including cleaning debris that fell into the neighbor's pool

Description of Work: I bought two coupons for $200.00, worth $400.00 Bruno Ferdzza tree service came out and gave me a bid of $1000.00. I asked him if he was bringing a boom truck, he said no, he told me one man would trim the palm. This meant I would have to spend an additional $600.00 for a total cost $800.00, I felt this was too much. I ask my neighbor who worked on their trees and they told me (Valley Crest), tree care services. I gave them a call and talked to an Arborist, I asked her what it would cost to trim my Palm, she said they charge a minim of $480 and that was too much to charge for the palm. I walked into my backyard and look around, saw that a Fig and Oak could use some trimming, so I called her back. She came to my house and looks at the Trees and gave me a price of $480.00, a savings of $320 plus two more trees trimmed. Valley Crest came out with a five man crew and two rigs, not one man. So it's the old story, always get three bids.

Description of Work: We contacted Bruno. He was very professional and prompt. He came out to give us an estimate on removing or trimming four large trees on our property. Bruno explained that he did not realize we were located so far from his business. The Shingle Springs area is very large so a person in SS could be more than 20 miles from another in the same town. He told us that we would not realize a savings because the travel cost would be so high. Bruno said he would contact Angie's List to make the service area for his business smaller. We found another tree company on Angie's List (Bailey's Tree Company) also with an A rating to do our work. Bailey's is located much closer to our home. Bailey's has already come out and provided us with an estimate that we are happy with.

Description of Work: There are trees in our neighbors yard which shade our pool and drop debris all year long. With neighbors approval were wanted to have them trimmed down. The tree service said if they trimmed as much as we wanted it would kill the tree. The only solution would be to remove the trees and that would be $1500 - $2000. This is more than we can afford to spend. They were prompt and courteous.

Description of Work: Thinned and trimmed large Modesto Ash. Removed mistletoe. Cleaned up the debris very well. The only thing that was not done as agreed upon was that the wood was not left for the fireplace. But the job and clean up were very well done, and the oversight about leaving the wood is easily forgiven.

Description of Work: David Ferazza with Bruno Ferazza Tree Service was a God send! We hadn't had our trees pruned in over 15 years so the backyard looked like an overgrown forest. From first contact with David on the telephone we knew we were dealing with a real professional. He was punctual, courteous and dependable from the presentation of the estimate through completion of the project. He is a personable and knowledgeable fellow. Taking into account the Angie's Specials, the price was very fair. Since we live in midtown Sacramento, with all its traffic and parking problems, finding parking for a large truck and wood chipper was a challenge; David worked with us to solve the problem, even offering to come down the night before to set out traffic cones. The yard definitely looks like a professional arborist and crew performed their magic. His crew was obviously well-trained. They pruned approximately 16 trees and bushes: crepe myrtles, plum, pyracantha, evergreens, etc. and removed several huge unwanted bamboo stalks. They also did a general cleanup of the leaves and weeds. We're going to be re-landscaping our yard this year and David's work has given us a beautiful canvas to work with. We would highly recommend David Ferazza for any pruning needs and will definitely use his services again.

Description of Work: David came out and did the estimate within a couple of days of my call. He was pleasant and gave us a good price (with 15% Angie's List discount ) for work being done. $467 for removing 3 Redwood trees about 25 ft tall, and 3 large shrubs about 10ft tall, including grinding stumps on all. The other estimate we received from another company was $700. David's crew arrived on time and did a great job removing the trees, being careful not to damage surrounding plants. They even removed some tree cuttings we had on the side of our house which was great ! I have already recommended Bruno's Tree Service to 2 coworkers and would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: They came and looked at our spring trimming needs, gave us a price and set a date to come back. We were not home when they did it but other than the work being well done you would never have known they were there - they pruned an old crepe myrtle that hung over our pool and there was not a single leaf in the pool or any mess at all - they also took some branches we had trimmed at no extra cost. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Removed a large tree but could not take out stump due to bricking in the way. They offered to come back once I get bricks out of the way. They nicely took out a stump from another small tree. I was notified to reschedule due to pending storms twice but they came on a Saturday to make up for it. They did an Excellent job .

Description of Work: phoned provider as of yet received no call back. My son is in Philippines and he's to cut down tree. He won't be able to do this until April or May. As I previously noted, I did not know offer expired march 20, 2013.
