I commissioned Todd to install a new gas heater, pool pump, filter, led lights and 8 solar panels to heat the pool. The work was done quite a while ago and so far everything has been functioning beautifully. The team that installed the system were very professional and answered all my questions that I had during the install. They even provided tips on how to maintain the system and trained me on how to use it. The team cleaned up after they left and painted everything to match the existing color. When I once had a concern that something wasn't functioning, they came immediately to reconcile the situation. Working with Todd was very easy and he was very responsive through email to my, what seemed like, millions of questions. His no-nonsense approach to designing the system and very reasonable prices are what drew me to him. Todd's system quotes also included all available rebate information too. I am happy to report that I can now swim 7-9 months out of the year in warm water at the sun's expense. :)

Todd Franzen Solar has been very professional in all our dealings with him and his staff. Years ago Todd designed and installed a new solar heating system for our in ground pool. The system has been working perfectly and has extended our pool use season a lot. No more huge gas bills to keep the pool warm enough to use. We count on Todd for keeping our pool plumbing system working as it should.

Great, couldn't ask for better service. Everything look nice and neat. They did mine in one day. My pool gets to about 88-93F now. I live in City of Orange. Roof faces directly south. approx. 450 sqft pool.

I subscribed to Angie’s List to find someone that totally understood: pools, solar systems and power efficiency. I have never owned a pool and needed to find the right technician. Todd is very technically capable in all these areas. Todd was professional and competent and exceeded my expectation. We have enjoyed our new pool almost daily for the last two months. The systems all work extremely well with minimal weekly service. I recommend Todd Solar to anyone with a pool.

Good work and came back when we had problems again with the piping around the solar panels. No complaints

Todd personally came out and gave the bid, did the work, and came back to adjust the process. He did it in three days so that it would be up and running for our son's birthday party, and was on budget. Everything was cleaned up after they left. He was always positive and friendly, as well as very knowledgable and willing to discuss various options. He always promptly returned my calls. Amazingly, his system heated our pool about 13 to 15 degrees over ambient (it is up to 85, and we haven't even had many really sunny days). We have no other source of heating, a white pool bottom, and no pool cover. I would definitely use him again on a project!

TODD IS EXTREMELY BUSINESS LIKE AND DOES EXCELLENT WORK. HE IS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. WE HAD SOME INITIAL PROBLEMS AS A RESULT OF A FAULTY VALVE AND TODD CAME OUT THREE TIMES TO INSPECT THE PROBLEM AND FINALLY FOUND THE CAUSE.
