Description of Work: Removed old roofing material... made repairs to roof structure and reapplied new roof.

Description of Work: Roofer was punctual and pleasant; however, did not see the roof leak I pointed out and told me there was no leak. I can see the ceiling beginning to bubble inside the house and, after the last rain, it got worse. I KNOW there is a leak. Apparently, this roofer either does not know his business well or did not want to do the job. He replace a few broken tiles on another part of the roof.

Description of Work: I needed to replace my roof, so I got 4 estimates. One a general contractor, one an unlicensed contractor and two licensed roof contractors. The licensed contractor I was sure would do a good job was far more expensive than the others. The unlicensed contractor made a point to tell me none of his guys had ever imprefallen off a roof,which made me think of my liability and he said it would take seven to ten days to complete. The two roof contractors were almost the same price within a few hundred dollars of each other. I choose PRS Roofing because the owner ssed me as a good guy and new what he was doing He left samples for my wife an I to pick the color and made suggestions on adding turbines. No pressure what ever we wanted to do it was up to us.Once we signed the deal Mitch the owner called us and we arranged for his crew to start on monday.His guys were here right on time and as soon as the old roof was torn off the truck with the new material was in my driveway unloading material on the roof. Before they even finished Mitch and his helper showed up with the wood to repair any damaged wood on my bare roof. This was all completed the first day. Day Two, the crew showed up on time at 7:30 and started putting on the new roof and it was complete by 4:30 that day. The next day Mitch came by to take the left over material off the roof and get the final payment. He explained everything on the final paperwork. Oh yea I forgot the first day when they did the tear off they put tarps all around my house and brought a big roll off for the debris .Before they left they used a blower and my yard and patio was cleaner than before they started.

Description of Work: THEY REMOVED THE OLD SHINGLES DOWN TO THE WOOD AND INSTALLED NEW SHINGLES, FLASHING, VENTS (PAINTED TO MATCH ROOF), AND A SPECIAL 20' X 6" "SUPER" SHINGLE TO COVER THE JOIN SPOT BETWEEN THE ROOF AND THE FRONT PORCH COVER. THEY STARTED AT 6:30 AM AND WERE COMPLETELY DONE BY 2:45 PM (HOME IS 28' X48' MANUFACTURED HOME). THEY USED HIGH QUALITY ASBESTOS SHINGLES WITH A 30 YR WARRANTY AND WIND RESISTANCE TO 110 MPH. THERE WAS A GREAT VARIETY OF COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM, SO IT WAS NOT HARD TO FIND WHAT WE WANTED. THEY REMOVED ALL THE OLD ROOFING FROM THE PROPERTY AND LEFT NO MESS BEHIND, NO NAILS, NO NOTHING. THE OWNER CAME BACK THE DAY AFTER THE JOB COMPLETION TO INSPECT THE WORK TO MAKE SURE IT WAS ALL DONE ACCORDING TO HIS REQUIREMENTS OF HIS CREW. THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS (WITH SAME OWNER) SINCE 1988. NOT A LARGE COMPANY, BUT VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY WELL ACQUAINTED WITH THE TYPES OF ROOFS THAT WORK IN THIS AREA. THE HOME IN QUESTION IS A MANUFACTURED HOME (AS IS THAT OF THE NEIGHBOR). THE CREW WORKS WELL WITH DOGS IN THE YARD (AN IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION IF YOU ARE A PET OWNER).
