Nipomo Plumbing and Handyman

I had a terrible experience with him. He was really involved with problems; he was on the phone out in his truck area. He did not show up when he said he would show up. We were forever calling him to get the job done and he definitely new how to plumb, but his service and everything my husband and I thought were terrible, and we would never recommend him to anyone. We do not know if he was having problems with a girlfriend or what on his phone, but definitely when I went out to get in the car and go somewhere you could tell that it was something personal going on. It was not professional. He then said I will see you tomorrow at 8:00, he never showed and I called and he said "well I have other things to do," and I thought excuse me we have started this job and I think you need to come and finish it. He finally finished it and I think it took him approximately three days to do this thing, which to me it should have taken a day. I regret giving him the money, because it was stressful on our part. At one time, he took off for lunch and did not come back for hours, you name it and he did it. He has outside problems that he cannot keep outside and I would not recommend him to anybody. I think the price he gave us was a little bit high, but that is kind of our fault. We did not pin him down as far as in the beginning, what the cost was, as we had a hard time just getting him and we saw that he was recommended on Angie's List and so we hung in there. We did not do our part either as far as cost lies. He had to cut out the area for the sink, even though it was a right sized sink and there was not anything wrong in that. Like I said, he definitely can plumb and do the work, but he just does not do it. I just would take him off your list for sure that no body calls this man, because he does not deserve to be on your list and no body should have to go through his personal problems. He should be here to do a job, do it until it is done and say thank you and good bye, but that did not happen in our case. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. His responsiveness was terrible. We had to track him down and then two days in row he told us he will be here at a certain time, never showed, and we had to track him down again. So, we never were sure what to expect or when he would be here, nothing. He showed absolutely no professionalism, you are outside our front door in our yard and you are yelling at somebody and it was not about work, it was something personal going on. I thought that was rather embarrassing. I was thinking why is not he into working on our sink, instead of out here for a half-hour yelling, so professionalism absolutely no way. He absolutely did not care what we thought, or he was oblivious and if he was oblivious, no body can be that stupid. Talking about him brings up a lot of bad memories.

He came in, checked out the problem, and found that it was actually due to our septic tank being full. He recommended calling a septic service.
