 + -1 moreThey came out and change breaker switch, but then it did not work. I called to come back, and they made three appointment and never showed up. The manager or owner was very aggressive and rude over the phone. Waste of money time

 + -1 moreJust one employee came out to make an estimation on the work in roughly fifteen minutes time. It was unclear exactly what the estimate was for. I emailed for an explanation and I still haven't heard back on. The estimate for the service panel and a splice on a wire. The uncertainty is whether or not the estimate covers both of these.

Description of Work: "A GFI tripped and we were without power in our garage. Ed responded to our call and quickly found the breaker hidden behind an add-on cabinet. |Ed does great work but his follow-up (ceiling fan installation done in 2011) leaves much to be desired. Although he promised to fix the problem, two fans in adjacent rooms on two separate remote controllers are running like they are on the same circuit."

 + -1 moreMr. Dalton was able to come earlier than the scheduled time and called ahead to see if that was acceptable. He installed the three fixtures and ensured that they were working properly. He also hauled away the cartons for the new fixtures as well as the old fixtures. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the service.

 + -1 moreMr. Dalton arrived at the time set and put in 2 regular switches that I had replaced a year ago with a couple of remote switches. He reset a GFIC that had popped out and I was unaware that the GFIC controlled switches...I had thought they just controlled the outlets. He was here about an hour and he service call fee was very reasonable. He's a very nice and polite guy and will be my electrician from now on.
Description of Work: Put in 2 light switches. Trouble shooting 2 other switches that weren't working.

He made sure to clean up the areas where he worked and replaced any items he found necessary to remove for ease in stalling the fans.  + -1 moreWe just bought a condo and there were various wires sticking out of holes in the walls. Needless to say, we were a little concerned. We also wanted dimmer lights installed in the bedroom above the bed for reading. Mr. Dalton was able to figure out that some of the wires were due to an old alarm system and he removed all unnecessary wiring at our request and he explained everything very throughly. He installed the bedroom lights with the dimmer switch and we are very pleased with them. He was very meticulous to get them right where we wanted them. Mr. Dalton was professional, on time, and I feel that his prices were reasonable considering how much time he spent plus he had to go up into the crawl space. He even removed an old T.V. stand that we didn't want anymore, but we didn't have the tools to do it. We have more electrical work planned and we will definitely call Mr. Dalton again.

He was very clean and came prepared to work. I would feel very comfortable calling him for my electrical problems in the future.

 + -1 moreHe did exactly what we requested in a timely and efficient manner for a very reasonable price.
Description of Work: Mr. Dalton ran a new electrical line and conduit from a bedroom to the exterior of the house to a fountain on the patio, and a line to provide exterior lighting where none had existed. He also added new exterior outlets and switches. He ran a new junction box to accomodate a better placement of the ceiling fan/light over the dining room table, and added a line and a junction box for a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. The ceiling fan addition in the master bedroom was particularly difficult because there is almost no attic space in the house. He replaced a faulty GFI outlet in the master bedroom and installed a new fixture in the master bedroom closet. He ran a cable TV line to the kitchen. This was difficult due to the lack of attic space and multi pitches in the roof. Mr. Dalton was very easy to work with, showed up on time, did not make a mess and came in under budget. We are having him back soon to complete additional projects.

Mr. Dalton was able to quickly find the problem - An outside switch which was exposed to water had been preventing the breaker from resetting. - He was quick, courteous and effective in finding and solving the problem. He charged me nothing.

In the past he has been a really good troubleshooter, but this time he couldn't figure it out. I just deal with the static.

 + -1 moreHe did electrical work in a 2000sq feet building. He was really fast. He knew what he was doing. He was very responsive. He called me back. He was very good at trouble shooting problems. I have a really old building and he trouble shot a problem. There was a humming sound in the wall and another electrician could not figure out what it was. I don?t know how he figured it out but he found a short in the wall. He pulled out a piece of drywall and there were a bunch of wires which were put together incorrectly. He replaced it. He asked if he could keep the bunch of wires. He said that a friend of his taught electrical engineering. He cut this mess of wires and hung it in his classroom wall as a way to start a fire in a house. We had this great, huge fire hazard sitting in our wall buzzing in the night. My husband had heard it though he did not sleep there. He knew where it was by making a small hole in the wall. He was great.
