Vincent Smith

Vince is one of the best handymen we've ever hired. He is responsive, professional, skilled, kind, and efficient. He has visited our house twice and performed quite a lot of work during each appointment. We have been happy with everything he has done from sealing a crack in stucco to stabilizing our loose threshold. He does the work responsibly and thoroughly while also being aware of cost and giving us options. Vince never leaves a mess; he's very conscientious about respecting our home environment. We plan on having him back often. He's great!

From the very first phone contact to job completion, Vince was friendly, likable, knowledgeable all the areas we needed. He was punctual, flexible, and worked hard. He also made suggestions which allowed us to spend just the right amount of money (rather than unnecessary time) for the ultimate value we could receive from certain aspects of the projects. We will definitely use Vince again!

He arrived on time. He installed all the new items in the bathroom and the thermostat in the living room. He did an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time. He is very professional and I will hire him again for any of my handyman needs.

Very helpful in accommodating our schedule before New Year. Arrived on time as scheduled, agreed tasks that we wanted repaired and helpfully suggested jobs that would take longer or could be deferred for a future appointment, completed all jobs on time and cleaned up afterwards. Would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I am grateful that Vince could fit me into his busy schedule on the same day that I called. I found him to be very responsive given the short notice, and he gave me timely communications updates via text mssg. to let me know when he would be arriving. He was very efficient, neat and got the job done right the first time. This was not a "typical" drapery rod installation--the job included use of double brackets, extra long width, and one of my windows did not allow the rod to span the full width because of positioning against an adjoining wall, etc. Vince was great at giving me options and talking me through the solutions for each "problem" we encountered. He's very knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. I will definitely put him on my list to call for additional projects in the future.

Vince was fantastic! We had to fix a mysterious banging under our floors before hardwood floors are installed. Vince was eager to tackle the challenge and expertly cut out a section of the subfloor so we could find the source of the banging. We found a long gas pipe that had not been properly secured. After strapping the pipe correctly, he meticulously lined up the subfloor section and screwed it back into place. Problem solved, super quick! He then replaced water valves under the sink, one of which had been leaking. Vince was on-time, friendly, and above all it was clear he had a lot of expertise in home construction & repair. He worked quickly and his rates are very reasonable. I'll definitely use Vince again if needed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends.

I called Vince to complete some random jobs for my house that I am getting ready to rent. Vince was very responsive to my phone calls, showed up on time, and worked efficiently. I am having him come back neck week for more jobs. Highly recommend.

Installed CARBON MONOXIDE Detector, changed smoke detector batteries & repaired wood frame of garage side door. Everything went very well. Vince was very friendly, courteous and not intimidating.

It went beyond expectations. It all was done with thought, expertise and professionalism.You cannot tell the alterations to the bench that's how perfect the work was done.

I'm getting ready for knee replacement surgery and needed a grab bar installed in the stall shower in our master bathroom. I searched Anglie's List for a handyman in the area in which we live. Vince had excellent references and grades. I called him late in the week and was able to set up and appointment for August 22. Vince was punctual, polite and affable. He completed the work in less than an hour, and unlike some contractors, did a good job of clean-up upon completion. The grab bar was installed correctly and is very sturdy.

Called vince at 7:30 he was here at 7:15 .. secured the upstairs are so that the mad man can run loose with out killing himself or my wife.. (madman is the toddler). done by 9, and didn't even try to gouge me for extra money for the short notice after hours call. He did a great job, and is honest, and someone you feel safe having in your home.

Vince did a great job - excellent communicator, punctual appearance, impeccable work, efficient use of time, equipped with all the necessary tools, and reasonable in price. Besides competent performance he also contributed to a superior solution which worked out perfectly. I will definitely use him again.

Vince was a delight! He arrived on time but, unfortunately, the paint we had saved for just this purpose had totally dried up. Vince took a sample of the paint and had it matched .. He also got the air filters we needed for our heating-air conditioning system. The work was done perfectly! I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to my friends!

We had a leak in our kitchen sink in a small restaurant that I work in--it had been giving us problems for months because we kept trying to fix it ourselves--we finally called Vincent to help us and he got the problem solved and even worked after hours.

All went well. He was able to find the same type of door that was being replaced which was important as the old door had a window. He was able to rehang the door in a space that was no longer square (as it was in an old house). And finally he was able to prime and paint the door ... All in one day ... Throughout the experience he was affable and straight up (which is greatly appreciated)

As an ex-contractor, I can attest that Vince is very capable and helped solve some difficult problems with me house.

Vince was prompt and very efficient, completing the work in just 2 1/2 hours, including going to the hardware store to purchase parts. The cost was a fraction of the cost of calling an electrician and locksmith. Vince was friendly and cooperative, even when I double-checked one of his measurements. (His measurement was correct.) I will certainly call him again if I need other household repairs.

We had a fantastic experience with Vince. He was incredibly helpful, easy to talk to, wanting to understand our needs, wanting to do things the way we wanted them done, helpful in figuring out our best options, very skilled and competent. We've had a number of handlymen fix things over the years, and this was far and away the best experience ever. I can't wait to have him back!

I have used Vincent before and he has done excellent work. We were moving out of state and I had the movers come on Friday and pack and move our household goods. I called Vincent and he made time for me on Saturday to help repair and finish all odds and end items so the house would show well after all the furniture was gone. He spent the day patching holes and matching paint in each room, repairing odds and ends to restore it back to a finished look.

Vince called us back quickly and showed up on time. He did the work accurately and professionally, and carried away the heavy scrap materials. We will use him again.

Vincent was great all around. Vincent was very responsive when I call him initially. He always pick up the phone when I called and called me to let me know what was going on during the day. He arrived on time. He was easy to work with and very nice. He worked hard and got the jobs done in the time that he estimated. He was so nice he even did extra work on the tiles to make the smooth, because he knew a small child lived in the house and he wanted to make sure the child wouldn't get scraped by the tiles. He worked hard and did an exceptional job.
