Penny was very knowledgeable, professional, ethical, and easy to work with. She put in a lot of effort into my mom's date of death appraisal as my mom's property was very unusual and there were not really comps as the property was very unique. She went above and beyond and listened to our concerns and asked the proper questions to get the info needed to give us an educated and well-balanced appraisal for the situation. I will use her again hands down with no questions if the need ever arises.

I no longer live in SoCal and we are part owners of a property that needed an appraisal. Having good experience with Angi and finding quality pros, I searched for an appraiser. We chose Penny and started a conversation. I explained our purpose for the appraisal and she fully understood our needs. After a short time that was agreed upon, she provided us with a very well prepared and professional appraisal. Penny is very easy to work with and honest which was paramount for this job. When we needed a retrospective appraisal for my dad's home at 500 Holland Ave, Penny Smith quickly and efficiently completed the appraisal in a timely manner. She contacted the probate lawyer and everyone she needed to complete the appraisal. She was confident, knowledgeable, professional, and through. She was also very personable and showed warmth and empathy for our loss.

We hired Penny to appraise two properties. She did a great job evaluating the properties promptly and professionally. Penny is very knowledgeable and understands the needs of her clients. We would definitely hire her again, and we would definitely recommend her to others.
Description of Work: Penny appraised two properties to provide a "Fair Market Value" after a loved one passed away, leaving the properties to the family. The properties had to be evaluated for estate planning and tax information. In short, Penny was highly knowledgeable and familiar with the process. In addition, she was mindful of the timing and sensitivity of the job requirements. The cost (listed in this form) was the total for both jobs.
