The tiles on our roof were installed about 12 years ago, but apparently they loosened over the years. In addition, many of the tiles were broken. Accordingly, George Parks' roofers had to perform a good deal of maintenance, and they did an excellent job. The tiles are now nicely aligned and appear to be adequately secured. Chris Parks explained the details of the job to my wife and me, and recommended some additional long-term maintenance (without applying pressure), which we are considering. We felt that he was honest, and that he didn't try to sell us anything that we did not need. Both Chris and his workers were a pleasure to work with, and everyone genuinely cared about the quality of the final product. Communications were maintained throughout.

The paint job (consisting of three different colors) looks beautiful. The guys did a really careful job, making sure to achieve complete coverage without cutting corners. Moreover, they did a nice, neat job, making sure first to cover our furniture and patio with plastic, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. They were also a pleasure to work with, communicated well, and genuinely cared about the quality of their work. Chris Parks skillfully managed the job throughout, from initial bid to determining level of customer satisfaction. He effectively explained the details of the job to my wife and me, and maintained communications with us throughout.

It went great. Other than a few communication challenges, it was a five star experience.

I spoke with the receptionist to see if someone could come out the next day to look at the roof. She told me they would give me a call back and I never heard back from this company. I would not recommend this company based on their lack of responsiveness.

He arrived, climbed on the roof(in office clothes). Inspected my roof. Said everything was fine. I didn't need anything.

They were fair. The roofer that came put on some mastic, looked around, said everything looks great and left but I had to have some additional work done to correct the problem. He was not the one that had installed the roof but there was a problem with the way the flashing met the chimney and he didn’t catch that or try to remedy it or talk to me about it and just left without checking that out. He didn’t seem interested. I think he had bigger fish to fry or it was too little a job for him. He did what he needed to do to charge the coupon, he didn’t create the problem but he didn’t catch the problem either. I had someone else out here who noticed that the flashing by the chimney wasn’t done right and fixed it.

I selected this business after reading positive reviews on Angie's List. I really don't like submitting a negative review, but don't want anyone else to have the same experience my husband and I did. A subcontractor was sent to do the work. We did not know they were subcontractors as the workers wore George Parks T-shirts. Subcontractor was not advised of scope of job therefore lack of direction from George Parks Roofing and Painting led to miscommunication and bad attitude from subcontractor. Subcontactor's specialty was roofing, but half the job was painting and they had no painting skills. More tiles were needed than originally anticipated, so final payment was increased by $400. Replacement tiles were not readily available so George Parks made decison without consulting us to purchase tiles that were same shape but completely different color. They switched them out with tiles in the back of the house that are not easily seen. We would have been willing and happy to wait 2 weeks for delivery of the right tiles - that option was available but not given to us.

Wow! I can only say great things I have used George and his sons for all our properties. The great about these guys is they serve all of orange and l.a counties this is very convenient for us since our houses are very spread out. They do roofing and painting but they also have done some other small jobs also. So far they have not dropped the ball. My only complaint is they can get busy depending the time of year so call ahead if your in a hurry. The 1 paint crew was also a little bit neater then the crew we got last time

There were a lot of issues during the job. I am home so I oversee the jobs being done at my home. I would catch the workers cutting corners instead of actually fixing the problem. Things were not getting replaced as they should be. I felt like I had to watch the guys a lot. The owner wasn't there the whole time and most of the workers didn't speak English, so it was hard to communicate with the workers. They left nails on my driveway, grass, and front porch. I would have to clean up after them each day. I had to follow through on each job but they had to come back several days later due to scheduling. The wood beam that he had to replace had a lot of imperfections.

Parks Roofing was very prompt in responding to our call. They came out the very next day to inspect the area and a quote was given at that time. Once the job commenced more damage was found involving additional work and costs were necessary. The second quote was reasonable. The work was excellent and completed in a professional and prompt manner. We would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of roofing repairs.

How'd it go? well it did not start out very good. The provider George Parks Roofing & Painting canceled the morning they were due, and they had no one to replace the painter that day. . I was having a party that night and I need my ceiling painted because I just had water damage repaired, and It need to be painted. I had to move my party outside because it looked really bad. It took 2 weeks to get another painter. The replacement painter did a good job, it was just that his timing was off.

The inspection came out same day and reviewed the roof. He confirmed there was some wear but indicated that the roof should be fine at least 10 more years. He mentioned a quote to replace it $9,000 but stated it really wouldn't be worth it at this time and that it would be a waste. First time I ever heard a contractor say that. Nice guy on the phone, did the quote and inspection without me ever meeting him' Highly recommend.

George Jr. and a couple other men showed up to provide a quote to replace my roof. They were here 10 minutes then left with only a verbal quote. When I asked for a written George Jr stated that people only think they need their roof replaced. He was rude, unprofessional, and not someone I would want to do business with in the future.

The owner George came out to do an estimate. He was on time and friendly. He is a very people oriented person. During the course of the work he and/or sometimes son Scott came each day to supervise the work and listen to any of our concerns. He always answered our phone calls rapidly and was patient, answering any questions. At the end he did a walk through with us to see if we were satisfied with the work. My wife Eileen and I will definitely use him again in the future and recommend him to others.

This was a 5-day hard job and the diligent workers sometimes worked overtime. They were prompt and courteous. The owners George Parks and son visited every day to supervise and check progress. The cost was very reasonable. Angies List referred me when I called, and this special service was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend the George Parks Roofing services.

The painters came on time and worked very fast, finishing everything I asked them to do before they ran out of the agreed 8 hours. The work was all right. Not spectacularly good, but acceptable. That's why I gave them a B for quality. I would probably hire them again.

I appreciated the honesty and time he spent on the phone and hope to have a bigger job in the future where I can get a price from him.

That worked out fine. It was good. I think they just did a decent job for the price. It was fine. They got there on time and did what they needed to do. I think they did a pretty good job.

They were able to work around my schedule and backyard pets and garden gear. The work was done promptly and I'm happy with the results.
