Description of Work: Highly recommend! Got their name off of Angie List and had never used before. Quoted against several other contractors. Dehaven repaired stucco, repaired doors, painted, repaired windows, put up a down spout, and installed drainage for me.. Highly recommend for any job. Very responisve, great quality and a good price!

Description of Work: I used L. Ray DeHaven Co., Inc. to repair stucco damage from insulation and installation (blown into each bay). They also repaired other minor damage. This project was completed on 3/22/2011 for $1550.

Description of Work: Ray, owner of the company, and I had an appt scheduled for 5/3/2011 at 7:30pm. Our initial appt was for Sat. April 30th at 10:30am which he called at 9:30am to tell me he could not make it and rescheduled to 5/3. He never showed on 5/3 and did not call either! I called and left two messages for him. My wife and I had arranged our schedule which includes our two young children...bathing, eating and having things for our kids to do so we can discuss our window project with Ray. We are soo disappointed that words are not enough to describe. Ray had done our roof leaks January 2011 and we were considering him for another project, and even had referred him to our neighbor and other friends.

Description of Work: L. Ray DeHaven Co., Inc gave me an estimate for interior painting and stucco work in January.

Description of Work: I used L. Ray DeHaven Co to do repair work on the texture coat of the house and a multi-coat on the porch, paint the house and install shutters.

Description of Work: Sergio, Ray's, employee/project mgr and another worker repaired two roof leaks on our flat, gravel roof. They worked quietly and diligently, and informed/showed me what they had done and also provided what I picked up on was direct, honest feedback, i.e - did not need to replace my entire roof. Also, apprx 9ft of rotten wood was removed/replaced that was right underneath our gutter. This work looked very, very good. The leaks we won't know until it rains. Ray, the owner, is a very nice, low key, honest man. He assured me Sergio was a "keeper" and had been with him for 20yrs. The only negative was that Sergio arrived 20 minutes late, and I had to drive my son to preschool. I told Sergio if he'd wait for my return and he did. I asked Sergio at the end if he'd screw two coffee tables togethte for me (which was not part of the work), and he did with pleasure. I gave him $15 for this which took him 15 minutes, and he did not want to accept, but I insisted.

Description of Work: I am using L. Ray DeHaven Co. Inc. and they are doing some stucco work for me, but also gave me a quote for the work a month ago to redo the whole outside of my house.

Description of Work: Exterior: patch stucco, replace dry-rot/termite damaged wood (eaves and gate), prime and paint. Interior: patch drywall, prime and paint 2 bathrooms and one living room wall.
