Everything turned out really well. They were pleasant and easy to work with. I had originally had someone making a cabinet and when that fell through they found someone else right away. The tile place I had ordered the tile with backordered my tile and they were able to find another source for the tile so the schedule was not delayed.
Description of Work: He did a complete gut and remodel of our bathroom.

My husband and I were really impressed with Matt Curtis and would consider hiring him in the future (especially if we ever do the bathroom remodel). His price estimate was very competitive and he was responsive in answering all of our questions. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the materials at the price we needed to make the total job cost affordable for us. We'll keep Curtis Remodel in mind in the future if we ever decide to try again.
Description of Work: Matt Curtis prepare a cost estimate for a bathroom remodel and installation of laminate flooring.
Description of Work: Matt Curtis was chosen to first remodel our entire downstairs after a sewer flooding. His crew were careful, neat and always early to work. They had to do a bathroom, kitchen, den, family room and living room. That job was about $40K with materials and we did a lot of upgrades. If you can imagine replacing everything in your home from 12 inches above the floor down, that is what they did. Custom cabinets, drywall, moldings, painting, tile, and hardwood floors. Oh don't forget the tray ceiling and recessed lighting in the new kitchen. The lighting came last as an after thought and Matt had n problem adding that and other things as we expanded our plans in mid-remodwel. Then I had them back to rebuild a staircase to hold a 1000 lb firesafe hidden inside. I'm waiting for our new double entry doors to arrive so Matt can install them too. Matt and his crew are the only workers I've had to my home, through all the repairs rebuilding our downstairs, that i felt perfectly fine leaving them alone in our home.
I believe it took just over three weeks and the only time our crew were not working was when we were waiting for ordered items or the plaster was drying. This is a family business mostly done by two brothers who were the first workman that we had ever left alone at the house, even if it was all day. Very reliant and they made a few good suggestions and happily put up with our specific designs. There was not a hitch when they had to switch from laying the floors, painting, plumbing or electrical just to mount a flag on the garage roof. We are very happy and even bought Matt a wedding present. Oh yes, he is all american and has every tool so there are no rentals needed other than the dumpsters. I note that our remodel was not planned, it was to replace a disaster, and we got it all done in about a month.
Description of Work: Following a sewer-related flood our first floor had to be stripped bare 12” high on all walls, flooring, cabinets etc all now junk. This covered a small full bath, kitchen, halls, 2 closets, den and the family room. We left the tile and ripped up all the carpet. Starting from scratch our contractor leveled the slab, replaced the drywall, door jams and all trim moldings. He also laid tile and hardwood floors. His recommended cabinet maker replaced, and added to, the lower cabinets built to match the existing upper cabinets. The kitchen and bath were re-done with the custom built cabinets, granite countertops and granite sinks. Our contractor did all the installation except the granite countertops. We also installed a tray ceiling and can lighting in the kitchen a well as all new appliances (4). The plumbing and the electrical the contractor did as well as paint the entire first floor in custom colors from moldings up, including the 19 feet tall main room.
