I called the store on Thursday to get information about changing a keyed lock to a keypad lock. One gentleman told me what the options were and the prices of the locks and referenced a website for further information. I looked at the website, made a selection, called the store back and scheduled installation of the lock for Saturday. A woman called me back about thirty minutes later to say that the parts could not be obtained in time for a Saturday installation and so we rescheduled for Monday afternoon at 4 PM. The technician came at 4:10 PM, installed the lock and left at 4:15 PM. Until I received the bill, I had not been informed that there would be a $47.50 labor charge and a $65.00 trip charge for a job that I could have performed myself. I called the store to complain about these unexpected charges, was told that nothing could be done, that I should have asked because the charges are standard for them and then was put on hold WHILE I was registering my dissatisfaction.
