We booked Mr. Handyman. They called back several times to confirm the appointment. I guess they're used to people flaking or something. Their worker showed up only a few minutes late. He had good ideas as to how to complete the work. He completed the job for only about half of the original estimate.

My experience with him was very good. He is just really professional. I would recommend him to other people and use his services again in the future.

He came out and gave me a quote, and it ended out to be under the quote. The finished it on time. Very professional.

I like that they are available to do all kinds of work. They send someone as soon as they can. All I need to do is show them what and where and they get right to work.

He didn't fix things very well. The company didn't tell me I had to use him for two hours. He showed up a few minutes early. They charged me for the time he went over the estimate. They start charging from the time he rings the bell.

It was a little difficult to arrange the first visit, but after that arrangement took place, the handyman showed up on time and did the job well. While he waited for some paint to dry, he also adjusted a sticking fence gate.

Very well! They called everyday they were here (about 6 days total overall) to confirm the time of my appointment. The gentlemen, Bill, was extremely professional and detail oriented. He recommended several ideas for me to think about with different cost options. Only charged me for the time he was here. He was extremely clean, after each day, he picked up all the materials and put them neatly in the backyard and cleaned the area he was working in at the time. My house was always functional during the project, except for a few hours right after he put down the new tile. He finished up and the overall cost was less then the estimate. I am very happy with Mr. Handyman and will use them going forward.

My wooden patio cover was rotting. I called another company on Angie's List, whom I'll also file a report on, and they estimated two weeks worth of work costing around $10,000. Then I called Mr. Handyman. They told me it would take perhaps two days and cost about $4,000. Turns out, it took a day and a half and they came in under budget by a few hundred dollars. Since this first job, I've hired Mr. Handyman for two additional jobs at my house and encouraged my mother in Maryland to hire the company's local contractors.

The company set's high expectations when you speak to the office. They claim to be a professional handyman experience and they delivered. I received a confirmation call the night before with the name of the person coming to do the work and the time they would be at my home. Wow, that is unusual. Then the tech, Bill, arrived on time and reviewed the work and provided a detailed written estimate. He was very courteous and professional. He did the work throughout the day and would ask for me to review each project before it was completed. The workmanship was great; clean and professional. He clean up and offered to walk the house to see if he could do anything else. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend these guys.

Work was completed in a timely manner. Carlos not only fixed the obvious problems, but resolved what was causing the problem. It was a very positive experience. When I called to schedule, I was told by the receptionist that they had 4 hour and 8 hours blocks of time, she failed to mention that a 2 hour block of time is also an option.

After an initial miscommunication about which Mr. Handyman franchise serviced my location (Pt. Loma), my experience with this company was fantastic. Owner John Schmidt responded to my emails quickly and went out of his way to get the job done when I needed it done and for the initial price quoted. Even though his company doesn't work on Saturdays, because of the initial confusion, he offered to do the job for me on a Saturday, knowing that I was on a tight schedule. Not many companies will do that! It's also worth mentioning that my first interaction with this company was with the owner of the other franchise, Nenette Agulto. I was also very impressed by her responsiveness and professionalism. As for the actual work, the contractor Dennis showed up on time and completed the work in the time promised, and cleaned up well. Overall, I'm very happy with this experience. Will definitely use again.

I received very prompt service. He was detailed and meticulous in completing all repairs, including list of small touch ups.
