Description of Work: I needed 6 aniline leather chairs restored. I was specific in my request to preserve their matte finish. After sending him a pre-restoration fabric sample of the matte leather, he assured me he'd restore my chairs to a similar appearance. Nonetheless, when he delivered the chairs, they were shiny. When I mentioned this, his response was to tell me he didn't view the chairs as shiny (despite what my own eyes could see). I responded "they're literally reflecting sunlight." He continued to hem and haw stating, "...I don't remember 'shiny' being part of the discussion..." despite it being the entire crux of the discussion. He then changed the subject to my work as a doctor & his fascination with my ability to work from home... as though he hadn't just bilked me out of $1300. I started feeling secondhand embarrassment for him. At that point I simply wished him a good day. (He said he'd investigate ways to reduce the shine. But as he already has my money, I don't have high hopes).

Description of Work: repaired three seams in a fabric covered sectional and fixed an area on my new leather couch that my cat used as a scratching post. (used 8 of her 9 lives).
