Conejo Valley Appliance

Description of Work: Our Sub Zero was not cooling as it should. I called Conejo Valley Appliance on Monday and Jim came out the next morning, he vacuumed out the motor and checked a few other things. The Sub Zero works better now than ever!!!!!!

Description of Work: Jim ROCKS. He came out to check my Kenmore Elite top-of-the-line refrigerator AND dishwasher, both three years old and just weeks off warranty (don't get me started on THAT). He was able to fix the refrigerator quickly and without parts, charging me just for the call, nothing additional - and for the dishwasher he and his coworker made three visits to check every component thoroughly, replace a part, etc. When that still did not fix the problem (which they had warned me might be the case before getting the part), Jim talked at length with me about option of replacement vs. repair, agreeing that given our situation (four repairs already and just off warranty) we should just replace the appliance. Of course then he'd stand to make nothing, yet still made an honest reco. I found Jim to be super nice, professional, honest, ethical, helpful. He didn't even charge for the two extra visits - I was in a state of shock after the figures Sears had quoted just to come look at the rotten thing once. I can't say enough nice things about this experience - especially vs. Sears who we'd dealt with on previous repairs of this appliance while under warranty. YAY for Angieslist, another win using their referrals.

Description of Work: They replaced a part in the dryer, and explained it was a quality model that deserved repairing.
