There was termite infestation and mold in the decking and they replaced some of it. The inspection service was good, it was regular and unobtrusive and they accommodated our schedule and gave us notice of when they were going to be here. That was all good. The carpentry work was subpar. They repaired the deck with lumber that was different from the stuff that was there, so it didn't match. They argued with me until I fixed it myself. I didn't hear back from them for a while.

This is the second time I have used Clark Pest Control in Newbury Park, Ca and with my past real estate experience I judge him to be the most honest individual in the business. William Peterson arrived on time, was neat and clean, and explained exactly what he was doing and what he found and made reasonable recommendations.

Initially (first 6 months) it was great, they took out the spider webs and were timely. After that they were increasingly less timely or calling every week to schedule a visit, and not clearing spider webs. We also noticed more spiders in between visits. Then they said we had a rat problem so they put a rat trap around the pool area. They did not explain, however, that the rat's don't die in the trap, they eat the food and die elsewhere. So we found dead rats in the pool. The final straw was when, 4 days ago, we had an unexplainable fly infestation - hundreds in the house - and we called them. Four days later the guys shows up and says and quot;Oh I forgotand quot;!. I immediately cancelled the Clark's Service and called a different company from Angie's list.

We have a rental house and they do that too so together we pay $280 every 2 or 3 months. They provide good service.

They have done a very good job. We have them come every two months. They listen to me. If I have noticed on my own as a home owner a problem with a particular type of insect like ants, spiders or whatever they will look into it and take time. They don't come in and spray for 5 minutes and wander off. The gentleman who generally services me takes about half hour or so going over the entire exterior of the house and yard and everything. I have used them for few years.

We had roosting pigeons on many ledges above our windows. I asked Ben for spikes (to prevent pigeons from roosting) on all ledges on the second story. Just placing them on existing roosting spots would most likely mean they would move to the next one over. Not all ledges were covered with spikes when they finished. I explained that I had mentioned on our initial meeting I wanted all ledges covered and on the day of service we had stood there earlier and talked about covering all ledges. Ben reluctantly agreed to cover the missing ledges with spikes. When they left I discovered yet more that were not covered. I called Ben and he insisted this was not part of the deal and asked whether I had seen the diagram, he drew, outlining ledges to be covered. I explained that he had never presented me with a diagram beforehand. Ben replied that it would have cost twice much to do what I had asked. At that point I gave up and will go elsewhere. BTW Ben seemed more interested in selling me a bi-monthly spraying service than anything else.

Their service works. They come out and do their spraying without having any impact to myself and the bugs don't come back. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

Their price was okay; it was a little high. We paid they monthly. We didn't have any problems after they started coming. We would use them in the future.

They were good and everything went well.

The price is good. They show up when they say they are going to show up. The gentleman they send out is pretty professional. I have noticed good results of his service.
