My 10 yo air conditioner stopped working--the fan was ok but no air through the vents. I had two compressors replaced (oil leaking on both) and I purchased the 2x/year maintanence plan. Luis was very professional and explained everything to me. It was much more expensive than I wanted but my unit is 10 years old and this is the first issue to date.

It was a very positive experience. The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the part. The unit is cooling beautifully again.

Our AC system failed on Monday morning 7/6. Not knowing who to call, we consulted Angie's List and determined that Aladdin AC had the best reviews. We called Aladdin and Jason responded that day. He determined that the blower motor had failed and that the condenser coils were badly clogged as well. He provided us the price information, we approved and he told us he would order the part. On Tuesday afternoon, we received a call from the office and were told the part was in and Jason would respond the next day between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. He arrived at 10:50 AM and two hours later the system was up and running. When inspecting the outdoor component he determined that the contact points on the relay were badly eroded and he showed me the problem. We then told him to replace the part, which he did. Overall, we are highly pleased with the service we received from this company. Jason was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable regarding his work. If all the employees at Aladdin are like him, that company is in really good shape. It should be noted that the AC system is at least 27 years old. We have lived here for 22 years and a bit embarrassed to admit that we have never had the system serviced. So, we signed up to have them come out every 6 months to service the system. If we can get a few more years out of it before we have to replace it, the work we had done will be well worth the money spent. Bottom line is that we really appreciated the company's quick response. Jason did a great job and his boss should give him a raise!

The service was fine. I paid extra for other stuff. He was very good. He had all of his supplies and he changed the component immediately. I would recommend him to others.

Quickly diagnosed problem. Could not complete repair because it was an electrical supply problem. Did suggest a course of action, specifically using a qualified electrician for the repair.

Your company was able to save us thousands, and alert us to a possible scam another provider had created her by simply unplugging our unit inside where we could never see. I called last week for ac maintenance and was given an appt for Monday 6/15/15 3-6pm. I received a f/u call on Saturday and confirmed my appt. Well after arrangements were made to be home for that given window (because these timeframes are never convenient for a working person but understandable) it was 6:25 and no show or call. I called the office and was transferred to a tech who 1st asked when did I schedule my appt after informing him of the above he responded their system went down on Sunday and had just got fixed a quarter to 6 on Monday so there was no way of anyone being able to contact me and said someone will call me tomorrow to reschedule. Well thanks for the sympathetic apology (Not) but don't bother. Also if it came back up b4 I called why wouldn't that be the 1st thing for someone/anyone to prioritized and call? I understand things happen but the way you handle it and try to make up for it, makes a huge difference because at the end of the day your customer's perception should be what matters. And just a suggestion, maybe having a schedule noted somewhere else as a backup for these unforeseen situations would be a good idea.

Our air conditioner failed on Sunday afternoon just as the temperatures and humidity were on the rise. We used Angie's List to find a highly rated, local HVAC contractor, Aladdin Air Conditioning. Using the Angie's List scheduling tool, the earliest we could request was on Tuesday so that is what we requested in addition to Wednesday and Thursday. I did add a note while scheduling giving Aladdin a description of our problem and phone numbers for me and my wife. Early Monday I called to see if we could solidify the time, hopefully on Tuesday. The receptionist and scheduler, Lynn was most polite and had just seen our request. Unfortunately they were booked for the week. I had to check my schedule to get back to her. Before I could call back, Lynn had the time to thoroughly read the note I had sent and called me and my wife. She and Aladdin really came through and scheduled an emergency service for Monday afternoon less than 24 hours after I initiated the process. Their technician Kyle called as he was on the way from his last scheduled call of the day and got to the house on time. He diagnosed the problem within 15 to 20 minutes explaining what had happened. He had the parts in the truck, got them installed and thoroughly tested the system and completed the reassembly within an hour. Kyle clearly knows his business. He was very professional and polite and respectful of our home (wearing slip on shoe covers when he was in the house). He also advised that had we done a system service on our 16 year old system, the problem might have been identified and a little preventative maintenance might have saved us an uncomfortable Sunday afternoon and night. He made my wife quite happy with that as she had been asking me to do just that. Many thanks to Lynn, Kyle and the ownership of Aladdin for their great service.

It went fine and they were reasonably priced. They didn't keep us waiting for too long.

Excellent customer service. I wanted to buy a HVAC maintenance schedule package for the home I recently purchased. Angie's List had Alladin's coupon and an all A service provider. Purchased the coupon. Called to schedule the appointment. The Friday before my Monday morning appointment, I received a reminder call and she asked if the service tech could come out earlier than 9 a.m.. Luis arrived around 8:30 a.m. after he called around 8:00 a.m. to let me know he was on his way. Luis was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He placed booties on his shoes to protect my floors when he came into the house. Ran the inspection of the unit. Found a small part which needed to be replaced and forewarned me that my condensor unit might be on the verge of going out soon - which I could have guessed because it's about 16 years old and is starting to make a few funny noises when it runs. He didn't push or pressure me into replacing it now. I purchased an annual maintenance contract along with the small part for repair and Luis was on his way. I highly recommend Alladin!

Great customer service! Matt serviced my residential unit. He was prompt, polite and professional. Regarding our new A/C in our rental unit, I was in constant communication with Brad. Again, he was very professional and quick to answer all my questions. Our tenant is beyond happy with the new A/C. I look forward to doing business with Aladdin in the future.

Extremely professional and thorough. I had many questions about the way the system operates, as it is a very old one, and they were all answered with details and patience. No arguments, no attitude, just great service. I will call them again if I should need HVAC service. Jason was the tech representative who did the inspection and I give him A+ for the job done.

We had an appointment for a new central air unit. The appointment went okay. We told the technician we had a budget ($4000.00), seniors fixed income, and couldn't go over that. The first estimate came in at almost 4400.00. We reviewed the estimate and responded with some requests that we were hoping they could accommodate. The revised estimate came back with a very arrogant attitude. One of our points in response to the original estimate was if they could revised the price......... their response, "we gave you the best price in the last quote". Another was that final payment would be made directly following the City's Inspectors approval. Their response........"we cannot wait days, weeks or months that may be involved in the inspection process". We had asked for the lines to be cleaned. That came back at 400.00 which now increased the revised quote to almost 4800.00 I don't know about most people but when one is paying thousands of dollars you would expect professionalism, courtesy and consideration. If this is the attitude of people giving a quote I don't think I want this company doing any work. From the arrogance of the revised quote I could only anticipate problems.

It went great. Jason (I hope that was his name) was prompt and professional. Our unit is 20 years old so we knew the rattle wasn't going to be caused by a 35 cent screw. Jason went up on the roof pulled the unit apart, told us we had a leak and the flywheel was wobbly and definitely on it's way out. He didn't have the part so he put it all back together. Less than a week later Aladdin called to tell us the part was in so Jason came back and repaired the unit. Our HVAC works even better than before. Rather than turning the heat up like we used to, we're turning it down because it gets too hot. I can't say enough good things about the company except to recommend them highly to anyone who is considering having work done on their heating or a/c unit. Oh yeah,when Jason came into the house he put little blue paper hospital booties on over his shoes so he didn't track in dirt. How cool is that?

I was very happy with my whole experience with Aladdin - the first guy Tom who came and gave me the estimate was very professional and forthcoming about exactly what could be done and what the various costs were. Then when I decided to go with them he and the installation foreman came back to take measurements and look at what they could do with my air return (which is built rather stupidly ... the original construction design's fault). The installation day went really smoothly, they showed up *exactly* on time to haul the old unit off, and then the new unit and the crane came right on time also. All of the install guys were also very professional, and the price after everything was exactly what I had been quoted, no extra fees or anything; it also included inspection costs (I've now completed the inspections, and no surprises). I was very happy with their commitment to doing the job right - I had been looking at a 3 ton unit because all the other *new* units in my building were 3, but upon looking at the ducting they suggested that a 2.5 ton would be more appropriate for my size condo and less prone to freezing up due to unsatisfactory air movement. I crunched the numbers myself, and came up with the same answer, plus my old unit did a fine job before it died suddenly (it was 28 years old) and it was 2.5 ton, so 3 would undoubtedly be overkill. Overall, I probably couldn't have had a better experience. Their price was a bit higher than some other quotes, but I felt far more confident in the work and the company, and I don't regret paying for quality work.

I signed up and paid for the Aladdin Club, for regular maintenance visits twice per year. I am very satisfied with the service I received.

Installed new air conditioning and heating system and replaced ducting in attic. Aladdin did an outstanding job on this project. The initial visit and quote provided by Rocky was well explained and informative. The installation was completed on-time and in a very professional manner by the crew assigned to our home.

The company installed a Mitsubishi split system and I made clear that the price was all in and included any permits required. A few months later I was informed that I needed to pay for a Title 24 certificate which came as a surprise.
