+ -1 moreWork started on the day and time as scheduled. Crew worked well together, with good coordination of the work progress, and safety practices. Clean up was completed as agreed upon. Overall very good job in one day, with no damage to any property,
Description of Work: Two 75' mature trees felled and branches on others removed. One tree was a Cypress and the other was a Ponderosa Pine that had bark beetle infestation. Some of the Oak tree branches overhung the house and needed to be carefully sawn away.

Description of Work: Bixler tree trimmed our large Willow trees and also took out a huge Pine tree that was diseased. Both times they were professional, courteous, experts and we are extremely pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreWe especially appreciated that Brian was amenable to doing only some of the work that he had estimated, and adjusted the cost accordingly. Brian is a genuine monkey! He and his 2 helpers did all the work without the extra cost of bringing in a bucket truck and completed the project in 1.5 days. Brian removed the 2 black oak trees we originally wanted out, cut a few other small trees (pines and oaks) that were crowding others, cut hazardous branches from our big oaks, and pointed out trees that we needed to watch the health of and explained how to care for them. He brought a chipper and left neat piles of chips in the spot we wanted. Clean up was terrific! The cost was very reasonable and the work was excellent.
Description of Work: We had to have a couple of black oak trees cut down that were too close to the house/garage and hung over the roof, and some clean up work on other trees. I wanted an arborist whose recommendations I could trust rather than one of the ubiquitous tree services in the area. Brian was recommended as the protégé of a well respected Colfax HS teacher and arborist, now retired. Brian surveyed the property and marked trees needing attention with colored ribbons. He gave fair recommendations, made a detailed estimate and walked the property with me discussing/referring to the estimate as we walked. We discussed the options for and cost of clean up as well. Brian cut down and did the trimming as we agreed. He was knowledgeable, punctual, professional, attached his insurance and licensing information to his estimate without me asking and was a pleasure to work with.

We specialize in large hazardous removal, tree preservation and fine pruning. Also, the climbing techniques we utilize involve roping and rigging without using spikes (spurs) that can often damage the cambium layer of the tree.
