Michael gave me a two hour window for service, so I took two hours off work. After another 45 minutes, I called the home warranty company so I could tell them that they hadn't showed or even called me to let me know what was happening. So, I ended up taking three hours of work and never heard from them. The warranty company said I'd have to call them to reschedule. No way. Utterly disgusted by their lack of professionalism.

My home warranty company assigned Personalized Pool Care to address an issue with my indoor spa not heating. When the technician arrived on site, he at first told me that the system was working fine. I pointed out to him the on/off clicking cycle and the "Heat" light blinking in conjunction with the cycle and the fact that the spa water was cold. He then was unsure of what the problem might be, but decided it was likely a pressure switch be effected by an old filter. He said he made some adjustments to the switch and that would fix the problem (it didn't) and I should also have the filter changed. He stated he could probably get the home warranty company to replace the filter. When I later checked the spa, it was not fixed and it still was not heating with the same issue. I called the technician "Michael" back. He stated he would get a new filter ordered. I had to call him a few weeks later to follow-up (this whole time the spa is not working). He stated he would be out in a few days to install it. I was not home when he installed it, but I have CCTV and was able to watch him and listen live while he was completing the work. He installed the new filter, turned on the spa and the exact same clicking of the heater on/off could be audibly heard over the CCTV camera. He then left site. I called him and left a voicemail asking if he was coming back since that did not fix the problem either. He never called me back. I called him twice a day for the next four days and left a voicemail each time. He never called back. He later reported to the Home Warranty Company that he fixed the problem, so I'm out the $65 fee I had to pay the Home Warranty Company since he lied to them and stated the problem was fixed.
