Description of Work: First time: completely rewired the house from old knob and tube to new |wiring. |Since then several jobs. The last was wiring a kitchen vent hood. The factory had provided incompatible parts and Pete was able to talk to the factory technicians and completely rewire the hood and fan to make them |work.

+ -1 moreHe was always on time. My point of view was that he had to come 3 times to actually charge us too little money for what he did. I have used other people in the past and his fees was $75 an hour and he doesn't bill for a lot of things. If he has to go get something he doesn't bill for it. He was economical and talented. He did a bang-up job. He did everything really well, careful, neat and on time. His prices were good. I couldn't ask for much more. Usually, he was here within a couple of hours of calling.
Description of Work: I used Papa Electric to wire a kitchen vent hood. There were problems to hooking it up to some other blower. He had to call the factory and talk to one of the technical because there was a problem connecting it. It was very complicated. He handled it on the phone talking to their technician and did a great job.

+ -1 morePete Papa is a local (Napa) electrician who has done small jobs from time to time for us and has also completely rewired our entire house. We bought an older (1943) house with knob and tube wiring. Pete replaced everything and worked with us to make the work as undisruptive as that kind of job can possibly be. He is neat, prompt, professional and good at finding creative solutions. He was recommended highly to us and we will use him in the future for all our electrical work. His prices seem better than others we have consulted.
Description of Work: Small electrical repairs and whole house rewiring.
