We Care Plumbing Heating Air and Solar

I’ve been a ‘CARE’ maintenance customer with this company for over a year and was initially satisfied with their air/heating service since my unit had not been serviced for years. I noticed a pattern however of them finding something wrong with my TRANE system at every maintenance check, with each repair estimate ranging between $300-$800. My concerns exploded with their “Plumbing Safety Inspection”. The first visit was cancelled due to the technician not arriving within the time promised. Although given assurances they’d be timely for the next appointment, they were late again and I asked my daughter to wait for their arrival. The appointment was to have been a general review of the house plumbing and I asked my daughter to point out our whistling toilet, a leaking faucet and a slow faucet. Here’s what happened: --As my daughter walked the technician through our home, he pointed out some lime scale and continued to mumble “lime scale” at every plumbing fixture including the whistling toilet and leaking facets. --The technician then told my daughter he could come back tomorrow to do the repairs. Puzzled, my daughter said she needed an estimate to be approved by me first. After a long pause, the technician said he needed to call his supervisor (???). --While he was on his phone with his supervisor, my daughter called me with concerns and said she overheard the technician’s conversation and his statement “..yeah, umm, 4,000 sounds good…”. I immediately got on the phone with the technician asking what the problem was. --He said that I have a major “lime scale” issue and he could install a system that would remove the lime over several months. When I opposed his recommendation, he said “your underground pipes could break at any time!” (???!!) --He also told me that my home’s water pressure was too high at 82psi. When I questioned adjusting the water regulator which was fairly new, he said he couldn’t “because if I break it, I own it, you know…” and his only solution was to 'replace' out the regulator entirely. (???!!!) --When I questioned the whistling toilet and leaking faucets, he said he couldn’t repair them without correcting the lime scale and water pressure issues first because he couldn’t guarantee the fixes would last over 24 hours (???!!!!) --At this point, I was furious, asking “how stupid do you think I am,” telling him I wasn’t about to pay a dime, let alone $4,000 for anything he had to offer. Flustered, the technician said “Who told you it was $4,000! I didn’t tell you it was $4,000!”. I said it didn’t matter as I was never doing business with his company again, at which point he said he could offer me a payment plan of $50 a month. (???!!!!!!). I told him to get out of my house!! Still furious, I called We Care and was greeted with “How can we make you smile today!” After venting heavily at the receptionist, she offered to send out another technician who’d be more compatible with my personality (which I interpreted as “I guess you weren’t stupid enough this time” ???!!!!!!) As I was demanding my “CARE” maintenance plan be cancelled with no further charges, she said she would have a company manager contact me. It’s been 2 weeks now with no manager contact. The name of this company should really be “We DON’T Care…” — it is a major consumer RIPOFF.

Called and got an appoint the next day. It was very disappointing when he quoted me $1000 for a fan motor ( without any measurement or testing) and $400 for the secondary starter. He quotes $137 for 2 x 60 amp fuses. The prices seemed high. A guest that hour in our home recommended someone she had used for 20 years. I called them. he spent 2 hours, tested everything, Replaced secondary starter switch and fan motor ( I had already picked up 2 fuses at home depot for $14). Installed it, tested it. As he was working he told me the fan was iffy and was still working. The total price - $470, not the over $1500 quoted by We Care. We care said it would be cheaper ( looked like about 20%) if we joined a service contract, which was less than $13 a month. All that did was give us the 20 percent discount. He said our system was a 2 ton and our house should have a 5 ton. The repair guy from We Care pushed to replace the entire unit rather than repair is ($1500) at a cost unmentioned, but the way he talked it would be $8000 to upgrade everything. But we could use the HERO program for 20 years ( that more than doubles the cost including interest). the kicker was when the other company came, I asked how big a unit it was, he showed me on the label that it was a 5 ton unit. I cannot recommend We Care and think that what they care about is ripping people off.

I previously had my system inspected and looked at for replacement by several other vendors in my area. Some wanted to charge more for less, and others didn’t make me comfortable with their options. However, I was still curious to get a price and system that would truly work for me. I found WeCare through Costco in Lake Elsinore and scheduled the appointment to have a representative come out and look over my system, needs, and price out my options. WeCare definitely cares. I was told they would arrive at 1 PM, and they arrived promptly that that time. Punctuality means a lot to me and got us started on the right foot. Brian Carr came into my home, introduced himself and even let my dog and cat get used to him so he wouldn’t be bothered by his presence. Brian took his time walking through my house, inspecting every corner, taking measurements, looking at the outside compressor, electrical box, furnace, coil, and my ducting. His inspection took longer than any of the other inspectors as he was taking detailed notes and explaining to me everything he was doing and why. It was a very different and pleasant experience over that of the previous vendors who had visited my home. We then sat down with Brian who explained all of our options, from a complete system replacement to only replacing the compressor and the various prices of each. He further explained the pros and cons of each system, what I could expect from them, and also what the installation crew would be doing to my home. With everything completely laid out for us and having an understanding of what we needed, while weighing our options, Brian was able to get us an installation date 3 weeks out. However, WeCare called me shortly after signing the financial papers and rescheduled the installation to exactly one week after my initial visit from Brian. I must say this has been the best experience I have had. I wouldn’t have purchased the system without having Brian there to walk my wife and me through everything and give us the confidence to move forward with our complete system replacement. The installation occurred, as I mentioned earlier, I week from the initial visit from Brian. Travis P. and his crew (Rudy O, Joey M, Ezequiel, and Enrique) showed up promptly at 8 AM the morning of the installation as promised. Everyone was clean cut, professional, and extremely polite. They all introduced themselves to me, my wife, and my pets. Off to a great start. Travis walked me through everything they were going to do just as Brian had. As soon as I told them to start they were off to begin their work. They carefully laid out mats to protect my hardwood floors and carpet. They also indulged me as I walked around asking questions about what they were doing. These guys are the nicest and most professional company I have encountered for doing work in my home. They completed the work exactly when they said they would (6 PM) and walked me through the new system and how to use everything. I want to really thank everyone at WeCare from Brian to the installation team and to the coordinators at the office. I have already seen over a 50% reduction in my energy usage since replacing the system. The new system is on 24 hours a day and cooling my house at a lower temperature than my old system. My office which used to bake with the old system now is comfortable, and I’m able to work throughout the day without sweating to death. They delivered on everything that was promised, and I wouldn’t be happier. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and neighbors and seeking them out for any future work I need to be done. Thank you, Brian, Travis and team.

Before I start I just want to say I have never been so impressed with a company as this one, lets just say I'm blown away with the whole experience. I have called to get a second option on some problems I had been having on the current installation of my HVAC system in house. The company rep that made the appointment was very professional and super nice and accommodating on appointment times. so I setup a time for them to come out, an exact time, not the BS of 10am-8pm. when it might not always be that way, just thinking my appt was a consultation only. the company called and let me know that the tech was on his way about 1/2 hour before the appt time. The tech showed up on time and at first glance looked very professional and clean. Had a great introduction and I invited him in, what really blew me away next was he put on these really rugged and clean red boot covers so as to not track in any contaminates from previous appointments. that truly showed me that maybe this company says what they mean on there company name "We Care". we got to talking about the issues that I had been having and wasted no time in retrieving his tools to go assess the problem. the tech was great, very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly and easy to understand, he was a great communicator. After a good look around we talked about my options and some of the great services they had to offer. all said and done I had to think a little more about what i wanted to do and when but there no pressure attitude was very reassuring that I was getting what he felt I needed not trying to upsell me (even if they were I still believe I would be better off with the options they talked to me about). I am still getting some third and 4th options on what i need done but none have come close to how this company represented themselves and the items they offered, some together if you wanted them or an all included package. I even set up an appt with one of there solar reps just to see what they offered on that side of things solely based on this appt. As every tech is different and there communication skills, i was not let down and had a great visit with the solar rep as well. hope this helps you find what you need, I don't think you will be disappointed with this company and what they offer. good luck.

The two technicians showed up promptly at the time promised, showed up at 8am on an 8am to 9am window. One removed the old compressor while the other took remove the old coils above the FAU. Then they installed the new equipment. They estimated it would take 4 hours to complete and they finished in 3.75 hours. The installation was very professional and clean. They cleaned up everything after they were done and made sure both air conditioning and heat worked.

I was called for a reminder the night before. I was called 30 minutes before the tech arrived to let me know he was on his way. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. There was no rush to get the job done and get out. He took his time, did a good job, cleaned up any messes and was very pleasant and eager to answer any and all questions.

My A/C is a13 years old. I have used various service companies over the years for my annual service. This company, the office personnel, and especially the service representative (Nick Finn), was the most professional, and technically proficient of all. I was reminded of my appointment in courteously and in plenty of time. I was informed of when the service tech was to arrive, and I was informed of each step the tech was performing, and why. Recommendations were explained and offered with no up sale. Granted, I used a coupon from offered through Angie's List, but I would have felt just as satisfied if I paid without a coupon. I will call this company for any of my needs again, and hope that Nick is the responding tech, however I have a good feeling that this company only employs good techs. Highly recommend this company.

It went fine. I paid additional money to the big deal price because I didn't have their card so I couldn't call them to clean up after. They used my electricity and I had to pay a bit more for it.

Kenny and Manny arrived early on the promised installation date and immediately commenced unloading the new equipment from their truck. Kenny walked us through the installation process explaining what they planned to do and sought our concurrence. They completed the installation and tested it the same day and it worked fine. Throughout the process they conducted themselves in a very professional and caring manner. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting to replace their ac and heating equipment.

I had a great experience with Josh, the tech that came out to do a routine service on my air conditioner and furnace. He explained everything he was doing and what I should keep a look out for to ensure I keep everything running correctly.

The technician, Jason Z arrived on time, he was warm,friendly, polite and professional. Jason is an excellent representative of this company! He did a great job!!! To my delight he completely cleaned up his work project area -- even after I told him he didn't have to do that...WOW, what service!!!!! We are very pleased and would HIGHLY recommend and use We Care over and over again! We are leaving your information for the people who are buying this home when we leave. They ran late friday night, so they showed up at 8 on saturday. This was a slight inconvenience which i do not blame the technician. Tony was friendly, professional and answered all our questions. They are good to use, you know they know their stuff.

He did an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining our system, so it would continue to operate as it was designed to do.

The installers Chris Thompson and Van Tallain were prompt, polite, professional, clean, and very informative on the product that was installed. I appreciated them answering each and every one of my questions regarding the new products. I was completely satisfied with each and every step of this major purchase. The technician was friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. Robert Brown was excellent.

The repair went very well. Very polite and efficient. The old connection had been cut short and this was causing the leak. He had to remove it and replace it with a new pipe. He was in and out in a short amount time. It did take two days before they could come out to make the repair.

They were so great to work with. Our water heater went out. They came out the same day. They gave us all our options from repairing our water hear, replacing it or getting a tankless water heater. We never felt any pressure even though there was a huge price difference between our options. They had it done the next day. We would definitely use them again. I would recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

He did a great job -- no leaks. He left everything clean under the sink. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. I also use this company to service my heating and air-conditioning units every year. I have been using this company for about four or five years now. I have confidence in them to be honest and do a great job. The technicians are always polite, clean, and professional.

Wonderful company. Every technician I have had come to my home is knowledgeable in their field. If there are any questions, they immediately contact a supervisor to provide the answer. They arrive on time, put booties on their feet to protect my flooring, and go about doing their work. They explain what they are doing along the way and at the end of the visit, they give me a detailed explanation of what, if anything, further needs to be done. There is no haggling over price. They carry a notebook with all prices outlined and you know right up front if there are any further costs.

NOt good 1) Tried to charge me extra 1200USD for nothing . 2) did not know anything about heat pump , even if i specifically requested it 3) Did not reimburse me the discount of 400 and 750 usd i bought on ANGIELIST so much for a safe transaction

The serviceman was friendly and very professional. He stayed late to make sure things were finished. Great customer service at a time when most companies have none.
