I called Kelly at around 2:00 PM on Monday, 2/21/2011 to explain what I needed done and asked when he could come over to provide a quote for the cost of this. He said he could be here at 4:00 PM the same day. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He was very friendly, especially with my dog, who smelled the scent of his dogs and kept trying to play with him. He examined both doors to see what needed to be done, and showed us a sample of the weatherstripping he would use, which was a much better quality than what we currently had on the doors. We discussed what openings he had if we decided to hire him after receiving his quote. Kelly told us we would receive his quote via e-mail that evening. I checked my e-mail at 7:00 PM that evening and the quote was already there for $320.00. At the time, we thought this was a little high, but decided to go ahead with it anyway. I called Kelly at around 7:15 PM and he said he had an opening at 9:00 AM the next morning and that he would pick up the weatherstripping for the job in the morning before he came over. I agreed. He arrived exactly on time once again. One of the first things he did was to reduce the price of the quote by 10% for the senior citizens discount to $288.00. We didn't know he offered that and never asked, so he could have charged us the original quote if he wasn't so honest! He immediately went to work, and once again was very patient and friendly with my dog, who kept coming over and examining what he was doing. He was very meticulous with his work and made sure the weatherstipping made as close to a perfect seal with the doors as he could. The job ended up taking a little over 4 hours to complete, which made us realize that his quote was actually very reasonable. When he was done, he explained to us that in about a week, he was going out of town on a big job that would take several weeks, so if we had any problems, we should not delay contacting him. He left the areas he worked even cleaner than they were when he started. We were very pleased with his friendliness and his professionalism, and will definitely use him again in the future.

I contacted the company and talked with Kelly, we made an appointement for him to come out and he was right on time.He looked at the door and determined that it could not be repaired, he came back later and a new opener was installed.I was very pleased with the work and the company.I will be having them to do more work for me.

I didn't have them do any work, but they were certainly very helpful. I didn't evaluate the details of their estimate, but I'm a Realtor, and they gave me an estimate that I was quite comfortable passing on to my client. So, I would say at that level, it was great. At this point, I have not had them do any work. I called them and they gave me same-day service and were very responsive, so that is good.

I found Spring Oak Construction on Angie's List. Kelly was very professional and acted quickly to give me a bid, which he provided within a day of looking at the job. He actually listened to my concerns as to how the lattice would be prepared and fastened to the patio frame. He did exactly what was needed to satisfy my requests, and then went the extra mile by adding 2 wood joists to improve structure integrity. By adding the construction of the AC condenser screen, the job took nearly 2 days for Kelly and his assistant. They didn't hurry the work, instead taking time to do things precisely. The invoice reflected the exact amount as the proposals. I am extremely pleased with the results and have another project in mind for him in the near future. Kelly has excellent work ethics and I would highly recommend him to all of my friends. Thank you, Angie's List!!!

When he leaves it is hard to notice he was even there. He cleans up very well! We have had him do electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc. He is very reasonable on pricing however. He shows up on time, always returns my calls. He has probably done 5 or 6 jobs for us. I'd be comfortable hiring him for just about anything. He's done jobs from $60 to $1000 for us.

He showed up on time, and the proposal was very detailed. He was approximately 20,000 higher than 2 other contractors to do the exact same work. I did not choose him based on the price

Couldn't have gone smoother. Mr Bice was immediately available to meet, inspect the area, provide an estimate, and accomplish the job. The project was complete within one week of my initial call. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Professionally finished the job in one day. When he was finished, they cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. I highly recommend this contractor.

Kelly came and gave me an estimate that was thoughtful, concise, easily understandable, and accurate, no additional charge. He came & did all the work in 2 days. After a couple days, I noticed one of the doors still stuck while closing it. I notified him of my concerns, he not only came to improve on the work but said he was "concerned about the other door also." He brought his partner & helper and had to refit the door jam which had warped because of the Summer sun hitting it. They were here several hours and did a remarkable job. Much to my surprise, there was no additional charge even though the three of them were here for several hours.

He is on time, very good on calling back, and very good at keeping in touch. He was fun to work with.
