Angel came out within a couple of days of my call, on time, and corrected the issue in very short order. Cost me only the service call amount.

Incomplete work...Lamp wire hanging in the gazebo...wrong cover plate on electrical outlet. Also I called the company they say they were not aware of this and I asked to get a quote to have a light installed ...possible some speaker wire and the operations manager stated they don't drive to my area for a quote, its and hour drive. Which is a total lie..its about 30-40 mins with traffic

They scheduled the work to be done on a Tuesday, the guy came in at 8am and worked till 630pm (10.5 hours) but wasnt able to finish the job. Promised me he will come back the following day to finish. The following day, he called me haid that he cant come and promised me that he will come the following day between 6-630. The follow day at 630, I called and said that he is not sure what time he can come. I cancelled the service because I cannot tolerate people who cannot complete their commitment. I called the company so they can remediate the issue, I was told they cannot schedule another electrician to come out till next couple of day Poor service and poor service recovery.....

I found Discount Services Electrical on Angie's List and I called on Tuesday, 07/05/16 and I received a call back from Kim on Wednesday 07/06/16. She was wonderful. Answered all my questions and was very friendly and provided a quote over the phone and was able to schedule an electrician to come out on Thursday, 07/07/16 do to a cancellation. She was very reassuring that they are in business to build loyal costumers and not for the money I could tell from the quote I was given that the price was very reasonable Thursday came and I met Chris. Form the moment I met him a felt at ease. He was very friendly, patient and very professional. He answered all my questions. I showed him all the work and said if I loved his work he would be back for more. He explained everything to me and went to work. He completed the work in less than 6 hours. I love the work he did. I was very happy and I requested future quotes. Overall I was and am very happy with the work and professionalism I received. I give Discount Services Electrical a 5 Star rating and I will definitely refer them. Thanks to Angie's list I was able to find an electrician I can trust and refer to others. Thanks Kim and Chris. The technician was very knowledgeable, professional, organized and clean. He educated me in meeting my requirements in a better way resulting in less drywall repair and cost for adding switches where they were not necessary. He also recommended a fan/light combination switch that is working fantastic. The responsiveness was unbelievable. I am very pleased with the whole experience. I have already recommended Discount Service Electric.

Initially, I was contacted promptly by the service provider to provide photos of the panel and electric line. I was then advised that there would be an additional charge of a few hundred dollars because my line fed in through the roof, rather than underground. I decided to proceed anyway. We scheduled the work to be performed and an invoice was provided in advance of the scheduled work, which was good. However, there was an additional hundred dollar "trip charge" which I found disturbing as it had not been mentioned previously and, by now, the additional charges are roughly 50% of the $850 cost of the deal. Again, the service provider was polite and apologized for neglecting to mention the trip charge. They offered a small discount off the invoice, which I accepted, and said they hoped that I would find their service to be exceptional. It was. They arrived promptly for the appointment, maintained excellent communication, worked with the City on permit and line relocation and just handled every aspect of the job in a completely professional manner. Jeff, the electrician who worked on my house, and Dean, the individual with whom I worked on billing and scheduling were both terrific and I would definitely and highly recommend DSE based on their outstanding work and their outstanding work ethic. In the end, they had to make multiple trips over several days to get al necessary permits and clearances from the City but they stuck with it and kept moving the project forward to timely completion. In the end, the charges were exactly as discussed and approved and, even with the additional work (line relocation and conduit replacement), the total cost of this job ($2,036) came in well under a quote I received a year ago for the panel replacement.

Everything went pretty well. Jeff came over on Friday, May 8, to get measurements for the new panel, and list out everything he was going to need. He came back on Saturday to do the work. Everything went pretty well, we were just without power longer than what we thought, or were told. Power was shut off for about 7 hours. We had to pay additional because our electric was above ground, not underground, which required a new riser on the roof. This was an additional $552.00 dollars. We also have solar, so we had to pay additional for wire because the length of the current wire was to short to connect to the new panel. When you get the estimate before they come out you will know what extra's might be.

Very professional. Easy to schedule appointment, they showed up on time and did the work. Paid a $99 trip charge since the job was an hour and 10 minute drive from their business. Passed inspection without problems. Saw several other similar offers by other companies, this one was the most reasonable even with the trip charge. Would definitely use again.

Awesome! The serviceman came out Friday, gave a quote for the job which I considered to be a fair quote and said he would be back Monday at 8:00 am. He was there Monday promptly at 8, had the work completed within 2 hours and charged us half of the original estimate. I NEVER get this lucky!

Jordan came to our home right on time as scheduled. He was awesome! he rewired a ceiling fan so it operated on a switch. Prior to his visit, the wiring was not done properly and he fixed it. We also had a ceiling fan wired and installed in a guest bedroom. The front of our house had two lights installed with LED fixtures. We were so excited to have this work done and by a licensed contractor. We are not sure who had done the wiring before, but now we are confident it is properly installed and we can rest assured our wiring issues are resolved. We will use them again in the future for any of our home wiring needs.

Called me and said had same day appointment which was acceptable as I was home having new windows installed. Employee showed up as scheduled, performed the work and was out the door in less than an hour.

Could not be happier with their service. Arrived on time, Professional and cleaned up after job was done.

There is NO discount here! Requested a bid for the installation of 14 can lights and 5 ceiling fans to my brand new, single story home with pre-existing wiring. I requested a Saturday install due the only day I had available where the house would be completely empty with no furniture to cover or navigate around. The lady making the bid was extremely rude and barked "we don't work weekends". I asked what the job would cost to which she replied $69 per fan, $89 per light. WOW!!! The highest bid I have received in the inland empire. I explained the house is single story with attic access and pre existing wiring and J-boxes wired to the wall switch. She explained that "it did not matter" that is the cost. I said that is way too expensive and being that I am asking for a good amount of work surely there must be a discount as this is labor only. She refused to budge on the price. Be prepared to pay top dollar for any electrical work done. Any jobs big or small there is no DISCOUNT here!!!

I liked this company; they were so good. I found them on Angie's List and it was not because they had a special, I just looked for the ones in my area that had an A. He is now my electrician. His hourly labor fee is very reasonable.

We needed two electrical items done in our house: Install four pot lights, and repair a broken electrical box in the backyard. They got both done on the same trip, and from phone call to work complete was about three days. The pot lights were wired in to an existing switch, which they expanded to hold the new switch for the pot lights. They managed to get the four lights wired in while only making one hole in the ceiling, which they said is highly unusual for a first-floor pot-light job (so your mileage may vary). The lights came out great, they look just like the ones that came with the house and the work was really clean. They replaced the outdoor electrical outlet box with a better one and turned it so that sun won't hit the polycarbonate cover, so that hopefully this one will last longer. They also attached the box to a new metal anchor so that it's not just supported by the PVC conduit that feeds it. Although DSE does not do their own drywall, they arranged for a good drywall guy to come in the following day to repair the ceiling where they had to cut in to it. This cost was separate and not included in the amount we paid to DSE. Both jobs took less than four hours total.

installed two fans, two different rooms, one of the "self closing " vents would not close, required two additional trips by contractor to fix properly. Also wired fans to an existing electrical loop, too much current draw on the circuit, threw breaker numerous times. they found another circuit to tap into on one of their return trips, rewired to that location, all fine now. I just had to call them, they scheduled the repair crew to come out, and took care of business, always good attitude, prompt, cleaned up well, overall a two thumbs up.

Chris showed up with Jordan and they got right to work. First order of business was to remove the main panel and replace it with a new updated panel. The new panel was a little larger than the old one that they took out so Chris had to reframe the area for the panel. While Chris was working on the main panel, Jordan installed the new 50 amp sub. in the garage. The guys worked til dark to make sure that we had power that night. The next day they started on the interior lights and switches. The guys installed several new fans, with remotes and a couple new lights. They were here past dark and said they would return on Saturday to finish up with the labeling and the last of the trouble shooting. They showed up in the afternoon and again worked past dark. Very professional. Nice people!!! Will use them again and again.

The technician called as he was able to come earlier than scheduled. He was very professional yet responsive and friendly. He inspected my electrical system thoroughly and efficiently. He didn't try to talk me in to unnecessary work, gave me a couple of suggestions took a check and was finished in about 30 minutes.

We finally got electricity for the entire house. Happy.
