To be succinct, there is not a better plumber anywhere. Have used service several times. As long as he is in business, I will never call anyone else.

He was excellent. He shows up when he's supposed to, cleans up after himself and checks his work like 3 times to make sure nothing is dripping or leaking.

Todd is awesome. He arrived when he said he would and went right to work. His work is very neat and very good. I like his ability to think out of the box. There was not a lot of room for him to put my descaler (AquaSana) in and he made it fit. He is professional, polite, and honest. I highly recommend him.

Took him only a couple of minutes to locate the leak and get the drywall open. The leak was in a difficult to reach area, so it took a while to get it repaired, but eventually he got the copper piping replaced and re-soldered - he even discovered a spot where the original work hadn't been completed properly and fixed that too!

Todd was very responsive to a short notice call. He arrived when he promised and went immediately to work determining the source of the slow drain. He quickly discovered that the pipe was nearly blocked by roots. He lifted the commode off the flange and used hand tools to clear what he could reach from there. This was followed by a couple hours work with a motor-driven rooter, both through the sewage line and through the P-trap under the bathroom basin. When the roots were cleared, Todd reset the toilet on the flange, refitted the P-trap and cleaned up the dirt and debris left by his equipment. This was the second time I called on Hunter Superior Plumbing and both jobs were finished professionally and to my satisfaction. The prior job involved a trench from the meter box at the street to the house and the replacement of a leaky water line. Todd analyzed the problem, determined the location of the leak and set to work. He removed the sod from the area to be trenched and set it aside for later replacement. Using a motorized trenching machine, he dug down to the broken pipe. When it was removed and the new pipe installed he back-filled the trench and replaced the sod. After a short period of watering the grass was once again green and growing.

Price is reasonable, he was prompt, second time I have used him.

I woke up this morning to no hot water. After trying to re-lite the pilot on my water heater I decided I needed some pro help. So, I used Angie's List to find local plumbers and came across Todd Hunter and Hunter Superior Plumbing. I called and his wife answered the phone, took my information and said she would contact me as soon as she talked with Todd. Within 15 minutes I received a call back and set an appointment window. Near the end of the window Todd called and told me he was running about 15 minutes late, but would be there. Todd showed up within the 15 minutes. I showed him the water heater and explained how I tried to re-lite the pilot. He knew immediately the thermo coupler would need to be replaced and quoted me $95.00 for the job. Within 20 minutes he was done and showed me the old part. Overall I am very pleased with the work done and the rapid response.

They arrived very quickly and did a fantastic job fixing our disposal. Very polite and have great prices. Very happy customer.

I have used this company before to service a rental property. When my tenant called and said that the hot water heater was leaking I called Hunter Superior Plumbing. I told them the job had to be done ASAP. Todd responded that evening with a rough estimate and showed up on the job the next morning. Todd installed the new water heater and hauled the old one away. He had to relocate a gas line to accommodate the new water heater and performed some additional earthquake strapping to bring it all up to code. All of the work and cleanup was performed in a professional manner.

Water heater burst and needed to be replaced. We didn't use Hunter Plumbing because the $900 replacement estimate was outside of my comfort zone. I felt it was a little high for the type of job. However, their customer service was impeccable. They were friendly, and they were willing to work around my schedule. If I have any future plumbing needs, they will definitely be on my radar.

Hard water corroded the valves in my shower so the hot water wouldn't turn off. 10 minute fix. Hard water also corroded the main water valve for the house. He soldered a new ball valve in under 20 minutes. Good service!

Replaced shower valve and moved shower head location up 6". Contractor was very friendly, punctual, and reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.

They replaced a section of drain pipe in the upstairs shower that was causing water to seep through down stairs reeling. Work was completer it a timely and efficient manor.

They were amazing. He came after work, about 8 p.m. and was extremely flexible in his scheduling. He was able to fix the problem within 15 minutes and without needing any replacement parts. He only charged me the normal service charge. I give him an A-plus.

Work was done in a very professional way. Would recommend Todd in the future.

THE WATER HEATER THAT CAME WITH OUR HOUSE HAD BEEN "SWEATING" WATER DOWN THE SIDES AND HAD SATURATED THE BASE IT WAS ON. THE WATER HEATED NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WITH AN ULTRA LOW NOX (REQUIRED BY RIVERSIDE COUNTY FOR POLLUTION EMISSIONS) NATURAL GAS WATER HEATER. THE BASE THAT THE WATER HEATER WAS SITTING ON HAD TO BE SHORED UP BECAUSE IT WAS COLLAPSING. TODD HUNTER CAME OUT AND DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB HELPING US CREATE A SOLID STRUCTURE FOR THE BASE. HE WAS PATIENT WHILE I REMOVED SOME THE SATURATED DRY WALL. THEN HE CUT A PIECE OF WOOD WITH HIS OWN SAW AND PUT A CROSS BAR FRAME UNDERNEATH A PIECE OF 3/4" PLYWOOD THAT WE PROVIDED AND SECURED EVERYTHING WITH 3" SCREWS. THE WATER HEATER HE INSTALLED IS A BRADFORD WHITE, ECO-DEFENDER TYPE THAT TODD RECOMMENDED, AND THROUGH OUR RESEARCH, WE AGREED. THE WATER HEATER IS A QUALITY ONE AND HAS A SIX-YEAR WARRANTY. TODD DISCUSSED WITH US HOW TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF THE HEATER BY FLUSHING IS ONCE A YEAR AND DEMONSTRATED HOW TO FLUSH IT. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL AND DETAIL ORIENTED WITH INSTALLING AND BRACING OUR WATER HEATER TO CODE. HE EXPLAINED THAT THE MISSING DRY WALL THAT HAD BECOME SATURATED WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THE WALL SEALED OR IT WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION. WE FILLED IN THE MISSING DRY WALL AND THE WATER HEATER SAILED THROUGH THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY INSPECTION. THE COST OF THE WATER HEATER AND REBUILDING THE BASE IT WAS SITTING ON WAS $1,000.00, WHICH WAS VERY COMPETITIVE WITH EVERYONE WE HAD SPOKEN WITH. AFTER TODD COMPLETED THE WATER HEATER INSTALLATION, HE ASKED IF ANYTHING ELSE WAS NEEDED. WE ASKED HIM TO INSPECT OUR WATER SHUTOFF VALVE AND WATER PRESSURE REGULATOR TO OUR HOME. BASED ON WATER PRESSURE TESTS, WE KNEW THE PRESSURE REGULATOR WAS NO LONGER WORKING. TODD REPLACED THE SHUTOFF VALVE AND PRESSURE REGULATOR FOR $200.00 IN ABOUT AN HOUR. THE COST OF THE REGULATOR WAS ABOUT $80.00, SO WE THOUGHT THE CHARGE WAS VERY REASONABLE TO REPLACE BOTH ITEMS. TODD'S SPOUSE HANDLES THE OFFICE PART OF THE BUSINESS. AFTER THE INSTALLATION, WE SUBMITTED A REBATE REQUEST FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE ULTRA LOW NOX NATURAL GAS WATER HEATER FOR $30.00 THROUGH THE LOCAL GAS COMPANY. THE GAS COMPANY REQUIRED THAT SEVERAL SPECIFIC PIECES OF INFORMATION BE PUT ON THE WATER HEATER RECEIPT. TODD'S SPOUSE WAS PATIENT AND ACCOMMODATING TO PROVIDE A RECEIPT WITH THE SPECIFIC INFORMATION NEEDED SO WE COULD RECEIVE THE REBATE. WE WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE HUNTER SUPERIOR PLUMBING FOR FUTURE PLUMBING JOBS.

He was a local plumber. He was an authorized installer. He asked me to put the tankless water heater for the main part of the house and put the old one in the back of the house. He did the work in one day and it was such a professional installation.

I had two problems, a leaking faucet and a stiff shower control. Both were rebuilt by other plumbers 6-8 months ago, The faucet was stiff, and was leaking water when on; then the water was leaking down into the bathroom sink cabinet and making a big mess. The other plumber had done such a bad job on the shower control that it was stiff to the point that the knob broke from the sheer force needed to operate it. I expected Todd at 9:30 am and he actually arrived 5 minutes early. We went up and looked at the leaking faucet and a shower control. He gave me the estimate, which I thought was very reasonable, and he got to work. He replaced and lubricated the faucet washer, and it worked like new again. That also eliminated the leak, and the water dripping down into the cabinet. The metal cap on the shower control was extremely tight and full of minerals from the water. He got that off without damaging it, saving me the cost of a rebuild kit ($55). He cleaned it all up and lubricated it all, and the valve worked much more smoothly after that. He put on a replacement knob I had purchased earlier, and the job was done. This is the second job Todd has done for me. A couple of months ago, he installed all the plumbing in a new kitchen we had installed and did a really nice job. I was so impressed that I called him back for this job. I had a minor problem once the RO filter began to work, and Todd came back and fixed it then very next morning.

He confirmed the leak promptly, drained the water heater to prevent further damage, and provided an alternative solution to current POS. He is very knowledgeable and forth right.. Job Well Done.

We had emailed the service request the week before Thanksgiving 2012 to have the leaks fixed but got no response from the company. Called again in February and received a call back within 24 hours and the appointment was scheduled. He arrived on time, clean and tidy appearance. He was shown the items that required repair and said he could do it. He then left without giving an estimate returning an hour later with parts. He completed the work, saying that the faucet on the downstairs shower was corroded or rusted and he could not get it completely loose without risking damaging the tile wall, resulting in about $400 more worth of repairs. I said to not do that. I had to leave for an appointment and my husband was the person inspecting and paying. The jobs were done well. The amount of $300 was higher than we had expected it to be from past experiences. He did not have a means of giving us a receipt with him for the work done and told my husband to contact the office to request a receipt. We have never received one after having requested.

The kitchen faucet had been originally tightened to mortar which Todd had to chip away, little by little, until the faucet could be tightened the way it was designed to be. I had attempted to clean the shower drain but asked that it be done with a snake, By the results, it appears I got most of it but felt better knowing it had been done correctly. Todd pointed out that the builders had left the drain pipe too long causing water to get trapped. He proceeded to cut the pipe to the proper length and then "calked" around the pipe so it would not re-occur. I had purchased a toilet rebuilding kit prior to contracting Todd to do the work. He removed the old ball type water shut off (in the tank) with a new more efficient one. The last plumber I had placed the house shut-off valve so that it shut off the water to the yard irrigation system as well. Since I didn't want to kill the lawn when we were on vacation, I asked Todd to install a valve that would just shut off water to the house but leave the yard irrigation alone. The thing I like best about Hunter Superior Plumbing is that Todd will answer my questions but doesn't sell. My only critical comment is the lack of an invoice. I watched him perform each of the described jobs but I personally like invoices.

Todd is the son and his Dad runs. I am happy with the faucet. The work turned out well. The price was fair, he was the cheapest of three estimates.

He showed up on time looked at all the equipment with my husband and when to go buy the extra parts that were needed. We purchased the machine and he bought the pipes and fittings. Time of job took 5 hours he soldered the pipes together and did a very nice job with the water softening hose put them inside of a plastic pipe to protect all in case of a leak. We were really happy with the job in the end all the work looked every professional. Thanks Todd
