Out of the 4 different HVAC companies that I interviewed Approved Air Inc impressed me the most. Mike, the owner of Approved Air, came to my house and did a detailed inspection of the entire house to determine what HVAC options would work the best. He gave me the prices for various options along with the pros and cons and never tried to sell me something that was unnecessary for my situation. I just had that gut feeling that Mike is a sincere person. Another thing that impressed me was that he clearly loves what he does. He is very knowledgeable and will answer any of your questions with enthusiasm. Also, he is the actual guy that does the installation. The whole installation took 2 days. Mike and his 2 sons, Kyle and Nate always showed up on time, and the 3 of them worked together as a very efficient team to do a superb job. Mike also goes the extra mile and does little extras that demonstrate his high quality work. The original system that I had was not working very well. Now, thanks to Approved Air Inc, I have an awesome HVAC system. If you want a company that?s honest, knowledgeable, and does impeccable HVAC work I recommend Approved Air Inc!

Our central air system was 26 years old. We decided to replace everything. After three estimates we went with COOL AIR SOLUTIONS and are extremely happy with our choice. The system is up and running without a problem (2 day install, 3rd day testing and adding insulation to the attic). All new ducts, furnace moved from garage to attic (more efficient & worth $$ in rebates), a/c quiet and cool air everywhere. We highly recommend COOL AIR SOLUTIONS for their pricing, professionalism and expertise. - The company is local, established, and well recognized by the industry. - Justin (CEO, sales) very professional, knowledgeable, personable, courteous and very helpful. He provided an EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE ESTIMATE with very good suggestions as to installation and choice of components. - Selina, Moriah (office staff) also personable, courteous and very helpful. Finance documents, paperwork and peace of mind. PLEASE CHECK OUT THE HERO PROGRAM AND REBATES. NO $$$ DOWN. - Mike, Jordan, Jaime and Tyler (installation) were quick, neat, and very tidy. They explained the process, answered questions and made sure we understood how the system functioned. Installing an entire system is a big investment. We did our research but were still anxious. Scheduled an appointment the next day which is hard in the middle of the summer but did so because he knew our A/C wasn't working. Arrived on time, was friendly, professional and fixed our unit at a cost lower than we expected. Would use again and highly recommend.

Cool Air Solutions is a World Class HVAC company This appraisal is based on the company's excellence in terms of their artisans' performance, the quality of their work, my personal satisfaction with the completed work and overall value when compared with competing companies. Prior to meeting with the representative from Cool Air Solutions, I had received proposals from three companies. 10AM The first proposal came from the company that had just completed an AC tune-up. The technician had noted many discrepancies with my existing 25YO AC system that would be expensive to fix. Instead of making the recommended repairs, I decided to replace. The technician called his office and a sales Rep arrived within 30 minutes. This company's written proposal included the installation of two (2) 3ton 14 seer condensers and one 80% AFUE furnace at the price of approximately17000.00 after rebates After meeting with the first company's sales Rep I contacted several companies and made 2 appointments for the same day. 3PM The second company's Rep arrived and made a proposal, at a lower price than the first, that included the installation of two (2) 3 ton 14 seer condensers(same brand offered by the first company) and two (2) 80% AFUE heaters with some air duct cleaning. Their estimate was 15,000.00. Time on premises was approximately 20 min. 6:30PM The third proposal included the installation of two (2) 3 ton 16 seer air conditioners, two 80% AFUE heaters, replacing all accessible air ducts and replacing registers for 15,200.00. I was pretty impressed with the company. In fact, the owner spent around an hour inspecting the premises, including going into the attic in order determine what needed to be done. I had made an appointment with Cool Air Solutions for the following day. I considered cancelling the appointment because I had made up my mind to accept the third proposal, but the lady I had talked to on the phone was so kind that I decided to keep the appointment. Justin Holmquist represented Cool Air Solutions for the aforementioned appointment. Mr. Holmquist appeared on time. After the initial greeting he asked to see where the existing HVAC units were located and immediately began a visual inspection of the HVAC components and the structure of my home . One of the first things he noticed was that a drain line (PVC) had been cut and was leaking water; it apparently had been cut by the technician that did the AC tune-up and he forgot to put it back together. After he finish inspecting downstairs he took his ladder upstairs and went into the attic to continued his inspection. After completing his inspection, we reviewed the results and discussed options. Concluded that the best option was, among other things, to replace air ducting in the attic; add insulation in the attic; replace 2 existing 10 seer air conditioners with two (2) 16 seer 2 stage high efficiency air conditioners; install two AFUE 95% Variable speed two stage furnaces; install 2 High EFF. cooling coils and install Hospital grade Filtration. Price 15010.00. HVAC system has 12 year warranty. Installation was scheduled to begin two days later. On day one of the installation, the artisans arrived on time and after introducing themselves went right to work. I especially like the attitude of the artisans. They were very professional, they were respectful and they answered all of my questions. At the end of day two they had completed the installation and had the system up and running perfectly. What's more, the neatness and overall appearance of the installation was first rate. .

Mike is very punctual and professional. He does his work conscientiously and is respectful of our house. We trust him to do a thorough job and when he's done, he writes down every single detail that he has done and goes over it with us.

I can't say enough good things about Cool Air Solutions. I met with Jay from the company and he was fantastic. He never tried to up sell me at anytime and was very knowledgably. He presented me with several options that were very reasonable and fair. He listened to my concerns and needs and came up with easy solutions. I met with several AC companies some of them very good and several that tried to up sell me, double the cost of what Cool Air Solution offered me. Seriously Jay was honest and up front from the beginning and offered the most for my money. Jay took multiple rebates off the top so I wouldn't have to deal the hassle of the cost, which no other company did. Justin came with his crew (sorry I don't remember everyone's name) and they were fantastic. Very professional and friendly, taking the time to educate me on what they were doing. Justin and his crew were on time and really worked their butts off. I choose to have my ducts replaced, my choice and that was a monster in it self. The job took two days and let me tell you so far it was worth it. Justin and his crew was awesome and I would recommend Cool Air Solution in a heart beat. Jay and Justin both emphasized safety features most contractors never talked about and at no extra cost. It has only been a few days since the complete install and so far everything seems to working great. Justin and Jay stated that someone would be back out in a week to insure things are working right and make any minor adjustments. I would highly recommend Cool Air Solution to anyone needing AC work.

They were on time and did the install very professionally and courteously. Mike and Jordan (I hope I got his name correct) laid down carpet protectors and left the property as clean as when they started and finished in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Justin Holmquist, his company and crew without any reservations.

I was impressed with Jay who did the estimate. He was very professional, courteous and addressed all my questions with a straight forward, down to earth approach. He was very knowledgeable and described the best way to handle the whole house fan installation. I didn't feel any pressure like I was "being sold" something. Based on the reputation of the company, my contact with Jay, the quality of fans used and the estimate, I went ahead with the work. The scheduling was done professionally and the installers arrived when promised. Mike and partner were courteous and professional. They worked efficiently with minimum disruption and completed the installation within the estimated time. The garage fan needed a part to finish the job. The scheduler was very polite and Mike returned to finish the job. Mike made sure everything was done to my satisfaction before leaving. I was very satisfied with my entire experience in dealing with this company and recommend them without reservation.

Mike was very professional, polite and forthcoming in the estimate/ proposal process. Mike and son arrived early to install items. They worked professionally and competently during installation. Always polite and friendly. Mike made sure everything was working in good order before they left and they were meticulous in clean up. I requested a modification in some duct work after installation to meet a personal requirement. Mike worked with me on the solution and promptly and successfully completed the work. He responded promptly a few months after installation to fix a small manufacturer problem and quickly solved the problem. Mike is friendly, honest, and responsive and I have great confidence in his skills and workmanship.

Approved Air did a FANTASTIC job!! We were impressed right from the start with Mike, and after interviewing a few other contractors, decided to go with Mike and Approved Air. We were very glad we did. Mike and his crew immediately went to work doing layouts and estimates. Mike went through every conceivable question we had regarding discounts, different heating systems available, and which one would be best for our home and situation. He also explained what would be involved in removing our old ducting and heater, and installing our new custom ducting and heater. They were also great at the scheduling, showed up on time, and answered every time we called. Mike knew all about the heater we had chosen, the type of ducting that was going to be used, and all the energy/cost saving assets there were going to be. We felt very comfortable, with Mike and his crew. They were straight forward, upfront and professional about everything. We were also glad we would not have to watch over them to make sure they did the job right, or took/broke anything. Mike and his crew covered the floors and made hardly any mess, which was immediately cleaned up, and the job turned out FANTASTIC!!!!!They finished in one day!!! We were really happy. Our home is very warm and cozy now and all the rooms get evenly heated. Also..... our gas bill went down! There was a slight hum from the heater after they had finished that we noticed, so we called Mike and he was here an hour later, and fixed it. Mike knows a lot about what he is doing, and my son having been in construction for many years himself, was very impressed with the job they had done. We have storage in our attic and we can now move freely about, without running into, or stepping on our heating ducts. Mike and Approved Air are our guys from now on. And we will be recommending him to anyone we know. It is nice in our present day and age to find someone who gives you a good price, enjoys and cares about the quality of their work, and goes out of their way to make the customer satisfied.

They did an awesome job. They were here when they said they would be, they did the work in the time they said they complete the job and they were very professional. It was not an easy job because the additions to the house created an very strange roof/attic area and they found a way to make the system work!

Mike gave a competitive quote compared to 2 other top-rated HVAC contractors. He also was easy to contact and answered all my questions. Once we chose him, he was able to schedule the new install (and removal of old equipment) in a very good time frame, and he arrived on time and had the install done within the day. The workmanship was very good - very clean install with everything done properly as far as we can tell. We haven't had much of a chance to use the system yet, but so far so good! We would definitely recommend Mike to friends and family.

Mike Gentry and his family business are extremely professional, competent, price competitive, clean, thorough, ethical, courteous and respectful. Here's what they did extremely well for us: 1. Arrived promptly at the scheduled time. 2. Used booties to walk around the house. 3. Use cloth runners to ensure carpets are cleaned afterwards. He's clean and tidy...just look inside his truck. 4. Used vacuum cleaners to make sure all dirt was picked up. 5. Explained all the different options available are as far as vent types (single vs 2 stage variable speed fans), A/C sizes, etc.. 6. Answers all questions with no question too dumb. 7. Tested everything to make sure the whole system worked before leaving. 8. Explained operation of the system including the thermostat (which can get complicated with all the new features these electronic gadgets have these days). Here's what he could do better: 1. Can't think of one. I'm sure there is more good things I could say but let's just say that I would highly recommend Approved Air. If you want your heating and/or air conditioner system fixed/replaced in a turn-key fashion with nothing to do on your part but open the door and let him in and close the door when he leaves, then Approved Air should be on your very short list of excellent companies to choose from.

I called Cool Air Solutions after having received a repair quote from another company. I was originally going to go with XX company had they called me back. But since I didn?t hear from them, I asked a friend for a referral and she gave me Cool Air Solutons. Their quote was 500.00 less than XX?s quote so I decided to go with them. My first impression was how polite both Javier Garcia and his partner were. My ducts and vents were totally done incorrectly 2 years ago (when I didn?t own the house) and they had to do some real manipulating of themselves to get around the convoluted configuration. But they did manage in 5 hours to get the work done and cleaned up after finishing. My air is now flowing freely through my vents which hasn?t happened in the time I have lived here. I am so happy and pleased. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and acquaintances!

They were thorough. They came out quickly, fixed what was wrong and the air conditioner worked fine after that.

Mike, Kyle and Nate arrived promptly on the scheduled date and time to start the installation. From the beginning, they were consummate professionals! I work from home so I was in the house 90% of the time during the installation. I never heard them talk about anything but the job they were doing-no personal conversations, no talk of the next job. They were focused on what was going on in my home. Even though our home is basically a construction zone, they took care to minimize their impact on the jobsite. At the end of the work day, they cleaned up the work area, Mike gave me a rundown of the progress and filled me in on the plan for the next day. We had planned on 3 full days for the install ? they were completely finished before noon on day three. Relocating the furnace to the attic was a tight squeeze but they were able to get it done without cutting an additonal panel access in the ceiling. Mike provided everything he said he would plus threw in a couple extras (we love the light he added in the attic!). The furnace and air conditioner both work exactly as advertised. I can't wait for the next heat wave to crank up the AC! In addition to our house being a shambles with no useable kitchen or family room during their work, we were also dealing other personal issues: we experienced a sudden death in the family, I was very ill for two days while they were working and our dog had surgery on day 2 of the install. We are grateful to Mike, Kyle and Nate for minimizing our stress and can't say enough about how satisfied we are with Approved Air and their professionalism and kindness. Bottom line, Approved Air does fantastic work, they are true professionals and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of HVAC service or installation.

The installation went very smoothly. Mike was great to work with. He explained everything very clearly and did an excellent job with the install. I selected Approved Air from Angieslist due to the quality reviews and the fact that it is a small family business. Mike showed up on time and finished the installation quickly and cleanly. The new unit works great and I couldn't be happier with Approved Air. I will use them exclusively from now on for my HVAC needs. Thanks Mike!

They were incredible. I liked everything about them. They were very professional, they really focused on what you needed, and they did it at a very cost effective price. They worked with me in many different ways. Their design people were very good and very proficient. Their testing afterwards to make sure that the system was installed properly was very good and their follow-up and maintenance has been very good. They are excellent. I looked at five other contractors and they had the best price.

Mike Gentry reviewed all the various heat pumps he could install. He described in detail the pros of each unit and price. Very knowledgeable, and professional. We felt very comfortable with is recommendations. It took 1.5 days for installation. He cleaned up afterwards, and was very courteous.
