Ruben was great. He arrived early (called and asked first), cleaned the condenser coil, checked out everything, and even went above and beyond to figure out a wiring anomaly. He was polite and explained everything he was doing. He was also honest and let me know that my a/c was in good condition and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I will definitely call them again if my a/c or heater need any servicing in the future.

From the minute I requested a quote, Mike was professional and punctual. Price beat all others and his service was second to none. Really impressed with the professionalism throughout the job. Took his time to explain and educate. Would not hesitate to recommend his services for anything HVAC related.

Despite the fact there was a heat wave, I was able to get an appointment with Cool Air Solutions within a few days. Travis arrived within the scheduled window and even called ahead to let me know he was on his way and gave an accurate ETA. Prior to entering my home, he put on booties and though he had to go to his truck a few times, he always put them back on when coming back inside. He diagnosed the problem in a very short amount of time, but was unable to make the repair as he did not have the part on hand. He returned a day or two later and replaced the circuit board which had fried, as well as did a cleaning and maintenance on the system. I was extremely impressed with Travis! He was very friendly, respectful and professional! I was impressed with the company as a whole and ordered a maintenance package with them also. In November, they called to schedule an appointment to have the furnace serviced in preparation for the winter. I scheduled an appointment, requesting Travis once again, since he had been so great the first time. Again, same great service!! He did his job in a timely and efficient manner. He also noticed a potential problem which he brought to my attention and gave me a quote for a possible repair in the future. Excellent company and customer service!!

Mike showed up on time. He and his son worked 10 hours straight to finish the job and left the work area immaculate. He also took care of all of the necessary inspection details and paperwork that went with it. We were very pleased with his service!

Mike installed 2 air conditioning units in my 2 story house. He provided a detailed quote and was responsive when I asked questions or made suggestions. He worked with me to locate the units in the best possible location to minimize their footprint in usable areas of my side yard. He was very professional and explained all the steps as he proceeded. He arranged for all the permits and title 24 duct testing and verification. The installation was done promptly in two days and the title 24 testing and city inspection was completed without a hitch. I would definitely recommend Mike's company.

Mike was prompt and considerate. He communicated what was going to be done and when. He worked 10 hours per day for 4.5 days to get the job completed on schedule. He also removed two additional furnaces, from the attic, that were not removed by the contractors used by the previous owners. His work was well done and corrected many installation errors from the previous system.

Mike Gentry provided an estimate on Friday Mar 27th which was very reasonable in my opinion. The original estimate was 6,400 and I choose to upgrade to a higher efficiency Maytag AC unit and furnace for an additional 2,000 after doing research on the info Mike provided, Also a new vent pipe also had to be ran through the tile roof to increase the diameter. Mike and his son Nathan showed up on time and completed the job exactly in the amount of time they estimated which was 12 hours. Mike is a perfectionist and his work shows this. Both him and his son worked their butts off and were very clean at all times while doing it. Once completed Mike tested and measured the output of the AC and heater and explained how to operate the system. Since this replaced a 25 rear old system, I'm very happy with how quite it is and with the touchscreen thermostat they included in the price. Would highly recommend him to friends and family with no hesitation at all. I feel I paid a fair price and got my moneys worth. I had contacted four other companies and Mike was the first to respond and after meeting with him I didn't even bother with any other estimates.

Mike was awesome! Not only did he schedule me incredibly quickly, but he also installed the unit quickly. He fixed the whole plenum, and brought the entire system up to date, including installing a programmable thermostat. We have a great heater now, and it's energy efficient. All good reviews for this company!

Removed old furnace and AC condenser unit and installed new high efficient units. I highly recommend Mike. He is very nice, prompt, and professional. His price is very reasonable. During installation, there were a couple of minor issues (existing conditions) that came up which he immediately brought to my attention. He explained the issues and gave me fix options (and did not charge me extra). He also stayed late to finish the job.

I interviewed a number of 4 potential HVAC providers and decided on Cool Air Solutions. Overall their pricing was the best for the quality of equipment that I wanted when you took into account that they were able to obtain rebates from SDG&E for the installation. They handled all the paperwork and guaranteed the rebates (in other words if I didn't qualify for some reason, they would eat the difference). Justin did the estimate and evaluation and was quite thorough and came up with a variety of options at different price levels including rapidly working up quotes when I had other combinations to consider based on other quotes I received from other providers. They had no issue with me wanted the work properly permitted and had no issue with handling all of the paperwork involved. In terms of the installation, they were able to schedule around my schedule and get it done reasonably rapidly considering that this was during the heatwave in September, and were ahead to let me know their schedule on the day of, when traffic interfered with on-time arrival (they are Temecula based which is about 40 miles from Job site). The job ran over time when they ran into some electrical issues, but they brought another crew the following day to complete the job and persisted until the job was done correctly, even coming back another time to ensure that there were no further issues. Since they use a dry wall subcontractor, they ran out and bought a metal plate to cover all holes in the dry wall until he could come and ensured that this was completed before accepting any payment. They were also fine with me holding back a portion of their payment until final permit inspections cleared to ensure that all work was done to both my and the city's satisfaction (which took months for the City to get around to scheduling meaning that they did not receive the rest of their money for months with no complaints demonstrating their confidence that they would pass or follow-through on any deficiencies) All in all, an excellent job and excellent service recovery when there were little hiccups. Office follow-up by Selina has been good, both by phone and e-mail with all questions that I had. Highly recommend for their dedication to high quality work at very competitive prices (and I have already to other friends)

Mike and his son Nate showed up right on time (the day after Thanksgiving) and started right to work. They removed the old furnace & a/c coil along with and all the other old stuff. They also removed the old rotted floor and made a new one that they installed sheet metal over it to protect the new wood. They installed the new furnace and a/c coil and fabricated the new coil cover and lines. They then purged the old refrigerant and recharged the a/c unit. They worked right through without a break and the new Trane unit works great! I chose them after reading all the positive reviews on Angie's List and Yelp. The price was competitive or better than the bigger firms who advertise on TV who also came out and Mikes personalized service was really great. I highly recommend Mike and suggest that if you're considering HVAC work you give Affordable a call. Thanks Mike!

Mike is very competitive with his pricing and provided outstanding service. He is quick to respond to phone calls an e-mails. He really went out of his way to meet my needs. I contacted on a Tuesday to install A/C at my place, he let me know that he was booked for the week but could make time on Saturday. He arranged everything and got the permits and equipment order and was ready first thing Saturday morning. He and his son did a fatastic job with the installation. They were prompt, professional and friendly. I was really impressed with how clean the electrical hook-up looked and the pad installation for the condenser. Looking at many of my neighbors installations it is clear that Mike takes pride in his work. We love the Maytag unit he installed as it is super quiet compared to our neighbors units. We have run the a/c several times already and it has plenty of cooling capacity. We do not expect to have any issues but Mike backed up his service on the Maytag unit with an additional warranty. I am sure I will not need it, but nice to know just in case. Overall a great value and experience.

Affordable Air is the best. Mike responded, gave an estimate and installed the AC in about a week's time. He helped us decide on the right system for us, cost vs. efficiency, placement etc. We are very pleased with the unit. They cleaned up everything and there was no damage to our home from their work. Mike and his son Nathan were a pleasure to work with. We have asked them to come back and inspect/maintain the system in the future.
