We have had Oren and the crew from SOD Home Group do three large projects for us. They first extended our garage. We received many compliments on that project because they took the time to make it match our existing home. Next, we added two bedrooms and a bathroom to the back of our home. Again the design and final product match our home perfectly. Our recent project was an extension of our roofline on the back of the house to give us a nice covered patio. Our only regret was not thinking of it when the addition was done. At that time we happy with the final look and decided to extend the roof line on our front porch too. It was getting full sun and was always too hot. We are very pleased with the work SOD Home Group does for us. We have a couple of small jobs left and will be calling them for that too. Great works from plans to final!

We had a wonderful experience working with SOD Home Group. We needed someone we could rely on in order to get the remodeling job done in our absence and we chose Oren and his team because he listened well, took detailed notes at every meeting, and showed exceptional skills. He also had a plumbing background vital for the changes we needed at the house. The demo revealed a few problems, so the project took longer than expected, but we realized possibility going in. No project is without issues but it’s how a company deals with those issues that counts the most and we found this to be one of Oren’s strengths. Overall, the project went smoothly and we attribute it to the constant communication we had with Oren and his willingness and desire to create something of quality. We’ve had nothing but compliments from all who have entered the house. We would definitely work with Oren again.

Oren was the best! He came by in August to look at the house and give an estimate & we clicked right away. Very calm and competent and a straight shooter, he gave us a ballpark & the written estimate was pretty close to what we had discussed. The SOD Home Group team demolished basically the whole house, remodeled two bathrooms, installed a new floor around the house, added new stairs and finished the upstairs room, installed HVAC, and completely rewired and replumbed the whole house in 4 months! VERY fast, in my experience! All problems that popped up, and there are always problems that pop up with even small remodels were handled quickly and to our satisfaction; even the ones that were caused by vendors/delivery companies! These guys are more expensive upfront than many contractors, but they did not go over the expected budget (setting aside project creep-my fault- and the unexpected- see having rewiring the house above) and the job was completed quickly and with no "shortcuts" that you might experience with someone else to keep costs down. If you value up-front pricing and honest work, you'd do well to give SOD Home Group a call for an estimate.

This is a first for us but we knew we had to give SOD Home Group a good review here. Oren and his team did a stunning remodeling job. We originally wanted to remodel the entire first floor of our home and also add a new room so we have been searching and searching for contractors for a while. Our search for a reliable and good contractor ended once we met with Oren. When he heard our ideas and plans, he went back to his office and established a development plan that fits our budget perfectly. Also, Oren and his team nailed this project and made it exactly as we were hoping for. They handled our home as if it was their own and delivered fantastic results.

This was our second complete remodeling with Oren and SOD Home Group. The first time we hired him was for our investment house that we purchased and this time was for our new home. This remodeling went much better than the first (considering the COVID-19). This remodeling included basically each and every space including the complete remodeling of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, entry, front landscape and back yard. Oren is very easy to deal with and contributes a lot of value-added ideas to the design. We did not live near the new home (because it was part of our relocation) and he’s was very flexible in dealing with us by emails, and video calls including handling many stuff for us. Especially in the time of COVID-19, Oren always wore masks, kept social distancing a high priority, and were very respectful with all of our questions and concerns. My wife and I hired Oren at SOD Home Group for our new home build in mountain view, CA. My wife is very detail oriented and is very organized. She and Oren hit it off from the very beginning because of this. On our first meeting, Oren insisted that our builder be present and he took the time to ask about his supply sources and asked many questions about the build time line, looked at our house plans, and offered a new perspective on some planning issues we hadn’t thought of. He literally went room by room asking questions about my likes and dislikes, my wife’s likes and dislikes, and our three children (two boys 16 and 8 and my daughter who is 5). We have loved how Oren compiled the list of all options for let’s say paint, tile, carpet, hardwood floors for each and every room etc and then puts the finalized list together and communicates that to the builder with a itemized list so that there is no confusion. The remodeling went smooth and without any issue. Al workers wear mask all day while they worked inside the house and made sure to sanitize all the spaces. Need I say more? Great!! You can’t go wrong with this professional!!!!

SOD Home Group did a large scale remodeling project at our house. The remodeling included most of the sections like kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom, patio driveway and more…. They did a fabulous job. Oren and his large team of people proved to us how they knows what they are doing. After we interviewing several companies for this large project, we had to go by different companies reps which most of them did wonderful advertising but failed to perform. SOD Home Group are by far very professional & well oriented. We worked with the pre-set schedule that was provided to us by Oren and all the changes that came up during the actual work, were given with an update. All the employees worked with masks indoor and they were very respectful of personal space. Our house is now complete and looks like new. We look forward for our next project with them.

We were so fortunate to find SOD home group to redesign our house. It has been a while since we did any remodeling or updates. Oren was attentive to each and every detail during the work. The type of materials, the paint of the walls, the combination of the cabinets and more and more… were picked up one by one to deliver us a ‘look like new‘ home. The whole coordination of who will work and when, what will they do daily, weekly and monthly – was managed by Oren. The office staff always made sure that the schedule and perfection are the top priority and they kept informing us regarding each and every step of the work. My wife and I were looking to completely open up our kitchen and bring into a modern aesthetic. As you can see in the pictures, we had a very cramped galley style kitchen with 80s style red oak and old appliances. Our project managers, David and Oren, were very easy to work with and understood what we were looking for and made sure to incorporate our needs throughout the design. They were able to remove two major walls to open up the kitchen, and their designer Natali did an amazing job of reconfiguring the cabinets to give us an ample amount of storage. Overall, I'd highly recommend working with SOD Home Group, and specifically with Oren and David. They were very professional, always attentive to our numerous texts and concerns even on the weekends (we were those annoying clients lol). They handled everything with an easygoing nature that was straightforward and honest. We look forward to working with them again on any projects we have in the future! Thanks guys

Oren at SOD Home Group remodeled our kitchen from the start to end, from upper and lower cabinets to the flooring, appliances, paint, plumbing, electricity and everything in between. His team did a stunning work. Oren made sure that everything will be installed perfectly and that the new kitchen will be no less than perfect. He went above the normal things that a normal contractor will go and we felt that he treat this project like it was his own. His carpenter guy took the outdated cabinets and turned them into brand new (which saved us a lot of money), rebuild some new cabinets in order to accommodate a built-in refrigerator and a new microwave drawer. They showed up on time, every day and worked towards the weekly goals of the kitchen remodeling. We could not be more satisfied and will be using them again on our master bath renovation as well.

This is by far the best experience that we have had with any contractor since we purchased our first house. Oren was very knowledgeable and professional; We highly recommend SOD Home Group to anyone who want or need to remodel their house in any level of construction. Oren and his team did an amazing job on our new purchase house! Right after purchasing the house at auction, Oren was very fast with design, permits and obtaining all the relevant HOA approvals. Our concept was to make the first floor as open as we could and with a traditional look. We were very insistent on bringing our vision to reality. Oren was amazing about encouraging our vision and dreams, while telling us when changes need to be made. We will be hiring him and his team for any future projects we will have...he is our contractor for life – and that’s for sure!
