The the root was removed and the new tiles were installed in just one day. The results look great and we are very pleased.

We had a fantastic experience with SOD. Initially they gave us a very competitive bid and did a 3D design of our new kitchen. We had done a lot of research ahead of time and wanted a specifically modern, clean look, and they were very open and amenable to what we wanted. They found us exactly the look we wanted for all our finishes and were always willing to keep working if we weren't 100% happy. When it turned out our electrical wiring and water main were a bit old, they gave us their honest input but did not put any undue pressure on us to do the job, which we appreciated. The project managers, Oren and Shay, receive an A++ for responsiveness. If they didn't answer a phone call or text right away, they would respond VERY quickly thereafter -- and this from a couple of type A, first-time renovators. They were even so thoughtful as to remember our babysitting schedule and what times would be good to work around our toddler's schedule. The whole project did take a few weeks longer than expected, mostly due to a delay in manufacturing our doors (not entirely their fault), but I will say once the doors came in their guys did an excellent job framing and installing them. If there was ever a problem they addressed it right away. For instance, we moved into our house partway through the remodel, and the first day we discovered the hot water was not working. Oren sent someone within just an hour or two to take care of it. They really do care about the quality of their work and their clients. They were professional, punctual, and true to their word. We definitely plan on using them again for some future projects and will recommend them to our friends. Our house looks amazing, if I may say so myself. Thank you, guys!

SOD Builders was a very positive experience and I would gladly use them again. I was lucky enough to have Gill manage my bathroom tile job. He was always responsive and went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied with all their work. Highly recommended.

We interviewed 7 contractors, four from word of mouth and three through Angie's list. One by one they came through and spoke with us about cost, design, how they operated and timelines. Each one either had their own idea of how they would do it, or was way to high in price, or just indifferent, but when SOD Builders, Ore & Gil stopped by they made us feel very comfortable, they helped us see our vision. They started right away with demo and worked quickly, they seem to be very well organized and since they have their own electricians, carpenters and plumbers on staff, there was no waiting for the sub-contractor to stop by. They had a cabinet company and tile folks that we worked with to pick out new cabinets, floor tile and back splash, as well as sink, faucets, even a pasta or pot-filler over the stove. They made it very care-free and they took care of every detail and didn't charge for minor change orders. When we asked about the load bearing wall, they were unsure until their engineer came to visit, so they even gave us an estimate on the cost, in advance, just in case we did need to do the extra work and knowing the price upfront gave us piece of mind. In fact when we did have to do the extra work, they stuck to their quote. What I really love about working with SOD Builders was their positive attitude and a willingness to make us happy and to stick with their original quote and NO SURPRISES . We really enjoyed working with SOD and we are already getting quotes for a patio renovation.

Two months ago Oren - the owner, gave me a quote for the job requested. I called him a week ago last Thursday and the demo started last Monday and was completed that Wednesday.I'm a tough customer and the patio was a tough configuration.The job was EXACTLY what I wanted. His men showed up on time, spoke English, and were VERY specific and neat regarding all the details.They took every last bit of trash and concrete nugget with them.A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Carlos arrived very early and picked up supplies for me and worked all day doing a thorough job. He was polite and nice and everything looked good when he was done.

They arrived fresh, clean and on time for work. He immediately asked what I wanted done. He had all his brushes and rollers in and began his work. He worked quickly and neatly and only took time for a quick lunch.

I contacted SOD Builders and spoke to Margie to schedule the painter. She is so professional and explained the service to me in perfect detail. She even called and emailed me the day before to confirm the appointment.The painter arrived on time and was super clean and fantastic. He was very cautious not to get any drops of paint on my floors or cabinets. Margie followed up a day or two later to make sure I was happy with the paint job. There was one problem area that was not detected until the paint was dry. She then set up an appointment for the owner of the company to come by and take a look at it. He did not hesitate to rectify the problem right away. Shortly thereafter (a few days later) another painter arrived to fix the issue...The bathroom looks so great I am 100% satisfied. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact we are getting a bid next week for an outdoor deck..Good work and customer service needs to be rewarded and SOD is worthy of this. Don't hesitate to hire them, you will be so happy you did.

When he gave the estimate which instead of the $999.00 as advertised he quoted $1300.00 I said thank you but no thank you.

They were clean efficient and fast. Got to work right away with no issues and great work.

They were on time, worked the 7 hours quietly. They did a great job and we had no problems.

I hired Oren and his SOD Builders team for two jobs; retiling a shower and an exterior house repainting. I was very satisfied; more importantly, my wife was very satisfied. Oren and his team were consummate professionals every step of the way on both jobs. The painters showed up on time every day, took great care to product plants and surrounding areas not to be painted, did not make assumptions regarding specific details but asked for clarification, and completed the job on time. They cleaned up every day, and on job completion did a *very* complete walkaround to ensure everything was returned to the state it was before they began (except that the house looked much better!). They even did some very finicky window repair work that I hadn’t been able to find anyone else to do. On the shower retile, the workers were very precise and professional. We were novices in terms of tile design; Oren’s team was very patient with us, even when we had to change a couple of things midstream. Always a smile from everyone, always willing to work with whatever new requirement we suddenly “had to have.” They worked easily around our constantly changing schedule, and, like the painters, protected the areas not to be worked on to prevent damage and cleaned up after themselves every day. During the work we decided to upgrade our electrical panel. Oren brought in his electricians and the job was done quickly and professionally, so as not to impact the painters. Oren arranged for all required inspections; he will not do any work that is not permitted and inspected. His insistence on this reassured us that all his work would be to the highest standards. Key to the success of all tasks was Oren himself. He did a complete initial workup of the jobs, outlining every detail and making suggestions when asked. He pointed out options but never tried to sell us anything we didn’t want. He kept close tabs on his teams and job progress, and frequently checked with us to ensure we were satisfied with the work. He answered every question, was available via phone or email at all hours, and was always cheerful and upbeat. Finally, he was always kind and considerate to my wife and daughters. I cannot recommend Oren and SOD Builders highly enough, and will certainly hire them again for my next major home improvement job.

We purchased the "Contractor for a Day" coupon and needed them to add drywall in our closet and shelving because it was cut into to add an air duct. The person who came out was prompt, installed the drywall and wood, plastered and put in the shelved. Also when he started, he covered the floors to protect them and cleaned up after himself well (no stray nails or bits of plaster) when done. We were very happy with the end result and will definitely call upon SOD builders again for larger projects.

Stop your search!! USE THIS CONTRACTOR :) Honesty, I can not say good enough things about S O D builders. When my husband and I decided we wanted to do this remodel we talked to over 15 building companies. They all either quoted us WAY over S O D's quote, or they basically told us that they couldn't really say how much it would cost until they started. Oren (the owner) was one of the first contractors I met with. I didn't hire him on the spot because he seemed to me to be a little young. Even though I really liked him when we first met his age concerned me so I continued meeting with other contractors. After meeting with many other companies we decided to go with Oren and I couldn't be happier we did. I think the fact that he is a little bit younger then most guys worked to our advantage because he has so much energy, drive and passion for what he does. From top to bottom he did an excellent job. He ALWAYS returned text messages and phone calls in a timely manner. He constantly kept me in the loop about what was happening and when I could expect to see certain things done. His crew was always on time, polite, and clean. Most importantly the quality of work is absolutely wonderful. Everything is done RIGHT, no cutting corners or sloppy work anywhere. To me, the most remarkable thing about this whole project was that Oren was able to come in, listen to everything we wanted, give us a quote and stand by that quote. Throughout our project their were minor changes that I know for a fact made the project more expensive for him. For example, we originally thought the concrete slab under the garage was going to be able to be repaired so that we wouldn't have to replace it. After further inspection Oren decided that it would have to be replaced, so he poured all new concrete and didn't add a penny to our bill. The cost for a whole new slab came out of his pocket, he did not pass that cost onto us. He took responsibility and said that he was not going to change our contract because he gave us his word that it would only cost the amount he told us on the first day. I have already recommended Oren to my family and neighbors. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was but I think you get the idea :) I'll close by saying if you are looking for a contractor who is honest, has VERY reasonable prices, will keep his word, keep a deadline and do a good job, this is your man! Oren is NOT a salesman, All the other contractors I met with made me feel like they were trying to sell me a used car. Oren isn't that way, he's not slick or smooth. He doesn't pressure you or talk you into things and at first that can almost seem a bit strange if you are used to the other guys. But take a minute and listen to what he has to say because you will like what you hear! SOD Builders (Oren) came in with a very reasonable quote for a remodel after we had hired one of his painters to do some touch up around the house for a couple of days. We remodeled the downstairs guest bathroom and Oren and his team were timely, professional and courteous and were very patient and respectful as we navigated our way through this process for our first time. We plan on calling SOD builders again for future kitchen and bath remodels and suggest you do the same! We are very pleased with the results.

We purchased a "Big Deal" coupon thru Angie's List for a "Painter for a Day", which seemed like the perfect deal for us since we had a couple of small areas to paint and didn't want to do it ourselves. I must say that the original work performed by the company left us very unsatisfied, and I left a review based on our experience. I was immediately contacted by Oren, the owner, asking what the issues were, and how he might make it right. He came out a night or two later, met with my fiancé and I to view the work that was done, hear our concerns, and promise to get a worker out immediately to remedy the situation. He explained that he was going to get one of his best guys out to redo anything we wanted him to do at no charge to us. We were impressed with how quickly the situation was fixed. The worker was out the next day and worked all day long, doing a very god job getting everything done with perfection. We were so pleased, we went ahead and hired them for another day, to continue painting. We are now thinking of other jobs to have SOD Complete. We would recommend this company to any of our friends, and the initial experience we had with them is not indicative of the work that they perform. Everyone has a down day from time to time, it's how you rebound from that, that matters, and Oren, and SOD Builders rebounded brilliantly. We look forward to doing more business with them!! We had several estimates for the work and experienced a few very aggressive salesmen. When we met with Gil Moscovich from SOD we were very impressed with his knowledge, ideas, and the price was very fair. Gil kept us informed throughout the project and worked with my schedule. The bathroom looks exactly how I had imagined. We are very pleased with the results. We would recommend SOD and will definitely use them for future jobs.
