Oren Dagan is a truly professional and honest contractor with an unbelievable sense for details and perfection. We could not be better-off with the work that SOD Builders did remodeling our kitchen. Before we met and hired SOD Builders, we met with at least 4 different contractors. We felt from all of them that they wanted to sell us the prefabricated kitchen cabinets. Oren struck us by his care to detail and addition of some of our concepts into project. His samples and images of prior jobs that he did, were useful and gorgeous and straight to the point. Oren was able to see the potential of the space in order to maximize it. He mentioned us that he truly care about all his remodeling projects and at the end of each one of them, he want his customers to love it. He communicated with us in each decision he made and the communication was definitely constant. We wanted a modern kitchen and Oren was able to deliver that. The final kitchen is in fact very beautiful, functional with features that we truly love and. Oren's associates were also professional, honest and very detail oriented. They worked without any problem while we were home and produced a beautiful, extremely useful space for us. The work that was done: demolition of the old kitchen and the removal of a separation wall, new flooring, custom upper and lower cabinets, marble counter top with black splash, dual sink custom open shelving, painting, lighting and install new appliances. We couldn't be happier with the work that was done.

My experience by working with Oren and his professional crew and vendors was highly appreciated. The worth of all the materials and workmanship that they used in the remodeling project at my house are excellent. What was mainly importance to us was the professionalism of his team and staff. Working with the site foreman was also a very helpful practice. His ideas, vision and mainly the attention to all the detail even the smallest ones made this project come together. In reference to the designer's input, follow-up, and guidance throughout – I must admit that it was much better than I thought it will be. We had no issues also with any of the different vendors and subcontractors that Oren brought in to this project. Everyone was polite, cleaned up daily, did great work, and were helpful in answering questions as we proceeded. We cannot say enough positive things about this team. The new kitchen is such a beauty and it adds so much to the house and mainly to the value of it.

At least 4 times the quote of other people. They did not want to call us back. The work order was one line item and not clear. They were late showing up. They is nothing positive I can say about them. It was that bad, there are no words to describe the experience. They would need to improve on, more clear estimate, better and more timely communication, showing up in a timely manner and honoring the deals they have.

I gave a lengthy review on Angie's List with lots of positive feedback for a full 1.5 bath remodel last year. Well the shower pan on the top floor sprung a leak. It wasn't plumbing. It was the structure (hot mop) that was faulty. Because of professional work, good results, and honoring their warranty, I give them a B. Mistakes happen. It cost them too. A part of me wants to give them a C, because it took them way way too long to complete the project and it was my only bath. Big inconvenience. A lot of the delay was between the plumber and the hot mop guy playing blame game. Also, because SOD Builders are hq in LA, remote management isn't as effective. They waited too long to order the tiles. I went for vacation for 2 weeks and they still hadn't finished.

They took our $1,000 deposit and never worked on our deck. It took over 1 month for them to respond to us at all. We kept waiting and waiting for a response, but we never received anything from Adam (our project manager). Adam came to our house, he was a great sales person. He convinced us that a SOD Builder is a fantastic company. My wife had a great rapport with Adam during the initial interview/quote. She mentioned I would travel to his home country (Hungry) for work. He was excited and asked me questions where I went and how I liked it. He seemed very personal and trust worthy, and I was sold. I cut them a check for $1k on April 1,2016 for a deposit. It was cashed on April 15th, 2016. Adam promised they would start immediately and he would personally be in charge of the project and be able to start the week of April 11th. We were so exited getting a new deck and remolded kitchen. They signed us up for Buildetrend.com. This was a way for us to see the progress of our remodel. I thought we were in the right hands. We sent all the prints for the deck and permits to Adam. The prints for the kitchen and permit were in progress. We scheduled a time Monday April 11th, for the foeman to come get an assessment on the Demo of our deck., since Adam was the project manager, we thought Adam was going to be there too. But to our surprise, only Damien (subcontractor) and another 2 workers were there. Damien asked for the drawings that we gave to Adam. I was shocked, why didn’t Adam (Project Manager) give Damien (Sub Contractor) plans for our deck? Our architect gave the official prints to Adam? I don’t have a copy. I ran scrambling thru emails looking for some type of schematic. I finally found it after 20 mins of looking. our Architect came by 10 mins after. Our Architect was also expecting the Sub-Contractor to have the blue prints. This was totally unprofessional. There was no communication between Adam and the Sub-Contractor. After Damien left, we were told by SOD via Karla, that Adam would “oversee” the project from the office. He will never be on Site, only for emergencies. The interview was the last time I talked to Adam or receive and email from our “Project Manager”. This was not conveyed to us as the owners. I wish he would have mentioned it during the quoting process. We didn’t even get Damien’s email address. Back to the story. Now Damien has the plans, no work for the rest of the week. We try to contact Adam, to get pricing on the wood. No contact from Adam from Tuesday Apriil 12- Friday April 15. Monday April 18th rolls around, no work has been done on the Deck, no contact from Adam for pricing. We try to contact Adam or anyone from SOD, but nothing. No Contact from Adam from Monday April 18th – Friday April 22. Monday April 25 rolls around this is the 3rd week, NOTHING has been done to the Deck. NO contact at again from Adam or SOD. Monday April 25 – Tuesday April 26th. Tuesday night, April 26th I’m so frustrated, I email again, thru builder trend and finally Angie’s list. Pleading to get some answers from Adam. All I want is our deck to be started. On Wednesday morning of April 27, 2016, I finally get a response from SOD, but they say “I know that Karla and Adam are working on getting the pricing for you. They are just trying to collect all the information they need in order to give you an accurate price.” Why didn’t they call us at all for those 3 weeks? NO contact, ignoring our emails. Later in the day, Oren Dagan contacts us via Buildertrend.com. He says he wants to start the project next week, but he wanted to know: • Do you want us to start working on the kitchen at the same time. • Do you have the permit ready for the kitchen?Is your architect going to do that? • Do you have the engineering (if needed) drawing for the wall removal? • Are you ok with us starting the deck already, before the kitchen or do you want it all in once? • Can you provide me with few days that i can send the carpenter over? • Have you chosen your appliances, fixtures, hardware and etc for the kitchen? do you need any help or list of items needed? ***!! We talked to Adam about this way in the beginning during the quote. He took lots of notes. He even itemized all these items on the agreement that we signed. It’s like we are starting all over again! All they wanted was their deposit from us. We were totally frustrated. I wouldn't be so pi$$ed off, but they just refunded our $1k. But I haven't seen a check in 5 months, even though they DID NO WORK!! I can't believe them. If you go with SOD Builder, DO NOT TRUST ADAM! They don't tell you they WILL NOT BE THE PROJECT MANAGER ONSITE... they don't tell you ADAM WILL ONLY BE THERE FOR EMERGENCIES. My wife and I are so mad and Frustrated. We had to find a new contractor and had to extend our permits. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? 1. I would attach pictures, but THEY DIDN'T DO ANY WORK! THEY JUST TOOK OUR MONEY!! 2. I would rate their Quality, BUT THEY DIDN'T DO ANY WORK! THEY JUST TOOK OUR MONEY!!

This was not the first time that we hired Oren and his team of workers from SOD builders to help us remodeling a large area at our house and to turn it into an absolutely amazing living space. We feel that we just purchased a new home! Simple as that. Although our home is practically less than 10 years old, we felt that our old contractor and designer, choose at that time items that were dated and plain. We spent ridiculous amounts of money on materials and finish items at that time that ended up not wearing well and looked worn, the floors that we installed then, were discoloring and looked really bad during the years. At first, Oren met with us to discuss and understand what goals we want to get and the million dollar question which was what is our budget. Since the kitchen, dining room and the sunroom are all connected in one living space, Oren wanted to make sure that our new furniture will still rolled with the existing kitchen furniture such as the high chairs and bar. At the end of the work, we can’t explain how much we love the whole work and items that Oren and his designer Michelle helped us selected and we are extremely grateful that Michelle remained well within our vision and Oren behind out original budget. Our new areas look fresh, creative, and flow beautifully from one room to the next. I highly recommend Everything Home!

Oren from SOD builders was hired to create our dream house. We renovated two bathrooms, added an additional bathroom & laundry room and installed hardwood floors in all the bedrooms. We worked mainly with Oren. Oren was always reachable and reactive. He was creative and unbelievable from the design stage all the way to the actual construction. All of their workers and sub-contractors were generous, respectful, hardworking people with high reliability. Their cabinet maker person did beautiful work and was a pleasure to work with. During the work, there was a mold behind the old cabinets and our concern was that it will cause a major delay with the work. Oren made sure to take care of it with one of his vendors and they were tremendously helpful by solving that problem and keeping the project on track. The mold problem was an addition in price but Oren was able to get us the best deal with the mold remediation. Now that the remodeling is over, we can say that a lots of extra things were done for us and without any additional charge. A lot of them were just being done without even asking us. Oren was able to finalize the remodeling under budget and a little bit early than expected. Our house was treated as if it was their own. We are very pleased with the remodeling they did in the interior aspect of our house that we are currently in advance stage to work with them on the backyard and pool. We highly recommend selecting SOD builders for any project.

SOD builders recently remodeled most of our home. The remodeling that they did included: - The kitchen – Floor, Island, Counter tops, Back splash, Outlets & lights, Cabinets, Sink and appliances. - 3 Bathrooms which one of them was the master bathroom, half bathroom and another bathroom. - Dining area and living room area – this was the smallest section of the remodeling because it includes new floor, paint and crown molding all around. We honestly can’t say enough good words about the work that they did and the way it look now after the work was completed. They absolutely went over and beyond our expectations with their knowledge and expertise during this work that took close to 3 months. Their expertise and quality was excellent. Our new house was built in 1980’s and the previous owner didn’t do any major remodeling since the time he got the house. The style that we wanted was modern styled interior. That apparently, was no problem what so ever. SOD builders’ staff and mainly Oren, was more than able to deliver the kitchen of our dreams. Oren and the people that did the actual work, created a living environment that matched exactly to our lifestyle and taste much to that of what we experience when we go and visit other places mainly on trips. The construction staff was impressive, hardworking people, honest and mainly polite, concise and efficient. We absolutely love the new kitchen, bathrooms and living areas and our master suite was an unexpected delight as well… We truly enjoy it every day. We’ve hired SOD builders as our contractor for room addition and the renovation of our kitchen and bedrooms project in our house. Since this is the first time we personally got involved in a project remodeling this size that included so many things to consider and plan. The help that I got from Oren and his team of workers was beyond my imagination and it included so many ideas, features and solutions. It was pretty scary to go ahead with this because I heard so many stories and nightmares stories about others that wanted to do remodeling projects and the contractor that they hired either left in the middle OR took the money and just left without do anything or mostly stories where at the end of the project, the final bill went up so much that caused the work to be just not worth it and unable to finish the project in time. But during the meetings with Oren from SOD builders before the project, he provided me with a detailed list of all possible costs according to our wish list and how long it will take to complete the construction. I have to say that they were both pretty accurate except there was a week delay on the construction caused by the city Inspector and all the bureaucracy that involved in such work. It was really nothing considering it was originally projected as a 24 weeks project. Although, it was a long project, but I have to admit it was a pleasant experience, especially the result turned out before than I expected.

We wanted to extend the house and at the same time to fully renovate the 2 floors. We spoke to good amount of potential contractors and we allowed them to review the initial plans from the architects. We didn’t know of familiar completely with the limitations that we had with the initial drawings. As we imagined and visionary the house after the renovations, we knew that it will be spacious and elegant with a continuous and consistent flow throughout and within the spirit of the design of the original house. To be more specific, we didn’t look for just a simple extension like most contractors can do. We contacted SOD builders and we spoke and met with Oren. Oren was provided with all the drawings and options that we had including our thoughts, imaginative and ambitious. We must admit that there was definitely the excitement factor there. SOD builders supported us 100% by submitting the plans with all the explanations and some ideas that should make things much better for the project. We received approval for the full remodeling with all the additions and modifications with only a very minor corrections that were required for few of the windows. We would highly recommend SOD builders for anyone who wants to really transform their house into a spectacular home!

We hired SOD Builders to perform a full remodeling of our kitchen, Bathrooms and the first floor remodel. Oren as the general contractor among his team of workers and specialist people did a great job from start to finish. All the workers that worked at the house were problems solvers oriented people and they were able to solve all the problems that came up during the work in thoughtful manner. We certainly felt during this time that we are being heard and welcomed in the discussion about the remodeling. The kitchen that Oren did included basically everything from cabinets to the handles and hardware. The bathrooms (2 in total) also were demolished completely and rebuilt again. One of the bathrooms included both of shower and bath tub and the other one included only shower. The rest of the tasks in this remodeling included the wood floor and paint with the replacement of all the switches and outlets. Each one of the workers that worked at the house was friendly, polite, hardworking and mainly professional. In addition to all the workers that did the work, the sub-contractors were professional and responsive. We were very satisfied in their work product and the communication they provided. The custom carpentry work was beyond our expectations and Oren made sure the finished details were to our satisfaction.

I hired SOD builders to perform a big remodeling project at my house that includes: - Full kitchen remodeling. - Demolition and remove all the exciting cabinets in the kitchen. - Counter tops that included the kitchen island as well. - Wood floors all around the dining and living areas and ceramic tiles all around the kitchen. - Brand new stainless steel appliances (Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove and range hood. - Upgraded electrical switches and outlets includes lighting fixtures in the kitchen. - Installed GFI outlets all around the house where needed. - Backsplash with custom design. - New tile floor in kitchen. - Relocate gas lines in the kitchen for the new placement of the stove. - Water line for the new refrigerator. - Built and installed custom cabinet with matching drawer’s fronts. - Under mount sink in the kitchen and few sinks in the bathrooms. - Faucets for the Kitchen and bathrooms. - Installed handles for cabinets. - Paint the kitchen and dining area with special paint design and texture. - Paint the bedrooms, dining room walls and ceilings. I selected SOD builders form the other 4 companies that I spoke and met with because my meeting with Oren and his ideas about what I can do and the price that I was able to get from him the was better than the other ones. When I called SOD to schedule a meeting, the lady that I spoke with was very nice, helpful and she was able to provide me with a great help and resource about this type of a project. We met with Oren and another person (Avi) and they were very down to earth kind of people and really knew what they were talking about. It started when I only wanted to remodel my kitchen and to break some walls in order to get an open space feeling. Oren was able to provide me with few options that worked very well with my budget. In the second meeting that I had with them, Oren brought a 3D design of how it will look. The design was very helpful and I start talking about other things that I can do as well besides the kitchen. After I hired Oren and his crew, Oren scheduled a starting date for the remodeling project and they start the work on the day and time. The work was completed after 6 weeks, as he promised to me. During the entire work, I got a daily report from Michelle, the project manager. She updated me on a daily basis regarding the work process. On top of that, Oren helped me to get all the materials that the project needed and his crew was beyond top notch, highly skilled and professional, polite and most important, they left the house each day clean (as clean as construction site could be). I have a beautiful kitchen , bathrooms and dining area and I am very happy with the results.

We hired SOD builders to remodel our house by converting the master bathroom, master bedroom and the kitchen so it will have all the features that a person with mobility limitations can have. As senior citizens, we decided to convert our other bathroom at the house to a full bathroom that includes a shower. This remodeling was a major project for us and we had to leave the house for the time of the remodeling which includes the extension of the house by 10 feet. SOD builders was one of 6 contractors that we considered for this type of work. Because of the reputation that they have (based on the research that our son did for us about them) and because we were impress by the detailed estimate. We decided to hire them and to allow them do this work, and honestly enough - we are so happy we did. During the remodeling, Oren from SOD builders was very considerate of our needs/requirements and he was very professional in his work. From the first day of the demolition stage until the delivery of the keys back to us, we can tell that they provided a skilled work force every step of the way. Both bathrooms came out like a piece of art from the walls to the counter tops, the ceramic tiles floors and the showers. The accessible master bathroom was professionally done and we are thankful every day to Oren and the actual workers that did the work for its functionality. The new mater bathroom includes a shower, accessible entry, grab bars and accessible counters. As well as being functional it is beautiful. I did a massive search find the best contractor that can start and finish my remodeling project that I want to do and I’m very happy that I hired SOD builders. Oren from SOD builders was the contractor that came over and review my vision of my remodeling project and what I wanted to do. Oren was always on time, extremely knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to and he had awesome ideas. More than that, Oren always listened to what I wanted to do and then he always came back with better plans that ultimately included everything I want and made some suggestions for several things that I didn’t think about. Based on the current floor plans that I had, I hired Oren and SOD builders to do all the work at my house. I liked that I Oren assigned a project manager that was always there when I wanted to talk about my remodeling project and to help guide me through this process. Once I signed the contract with them, Oren came over with all the people that were working at my project to my house so we could go over the work in detail. It was fantastic to have their experience in order to help bring to life my vision and make sure they each knew what was expected of them. The project included the following:- rebuild the kitchen- build all the cabinets- Redesign the kitchen walls- Build a new wall- Replace the old floor with beautiful new hardwood floor- Installing new baseboards and Crown moldings- Repair & paint all the staircase- Paint the entire house including all the patching of all the cracks- Paint the ceilings. They absolutely did a great job. All the workers showed me how professional they are. I must mention that this was my first massive remodeling project, there were so many things that I even didn't think about or have any knowledge to what needed to be done. For instance the electrician suggested to move the light switch to a different location in the kitchen and it made a perfect sense once he explained to me what will be the benefits for that. SOD builders finished the project earlier than we planned originally which made me extremely happy! We agreed to a certain budget and Oren didn’t go over that amount. After the work was completed, I noticed for few things that needed adjustment and Oren sent his guys right away and they took care of all of them. I would hire them again for sure for any work that I will need. I love my new home! It makes me so happy to cook in my new kitchen and to have friends over to show off my beautiful home.

After several months of working on a daily basis with Oren and his professional team, I decided to write this review and to express my happiness. Our complete home remodeling project is now completely finish and we could not be happier. Our 4 bedrooms home had a small kitchen and now it become with 5 bedrooms and an amazing Kitchen that we don’t know how we did before this remodeling. At the beginning, we had only a vision and a small drawings in hand. We had several interviews and meetings with several other contractors. Oren took a quick look at our designs and made a tour at the house in order to see what can he do that will be either better than the designs. At the beginning, Oren shared with us few great ideas that according to him, will improve the overall look of the house. This approach was extremely important and valuable because we wanted the remodel to have some unique features, and his ideas, just did that. We felt that Oren had an instant ownership of our remodeling and he cared a lot about our input and thoughts, but also gave a great direction based on his experience and knowledge. We appreciated that Oren was not bashful about steering us away from a possible bad design decision. Oren kept the remodeling project going and going fast. He made sure to visit the house often and he had a good control on all the work that his workers did. When we reached out with questions and concerns, Oren was very responsive. I was able to be involved in the workmanship of Oren’s team because I spend a lot of time at the house. Oren had a collection of master craftsmen that take a lot of pride in their work and possess great attention to detail. From the first step of demolition, framing, tile installation, kitchen cabinets, painting and all the finish touches, we appreciated the great work that they did. Not only did it feel like Oren’s team worked well together, it helped tremendously that Oren’s team was very courteous and respectful during the 6 month project. We highly recommend SOD builders to anyone who wants a unique and well-designed home. We are very proud to say that Oren Construction remodeled our home. Oren and his team of professionals from SOD builders performed a full remodeling of our master bathroom. The work that they did included the following:- removed all walls, - moved a closet, - re-plumbed and rewired the entire room, moved the location of the toilet and shower/tubinstalled new floor and wall tile, lighting, fixtures, patched an existing hardwood floor, etc. Oren, Jose and Michael are the main professionals that worked at my house. Oren is very organized, knowledgeable and picky leader. He came over to all the meetings exactly on time and communicates excellent via phone texts and emails, and he delivers everything he promise. He tries to understand what we wanted as client and to make it happen. Oren made a very reasonable adjustment to the estimate to cover the extra work and we appreciate that a lot. Jose is very skilled craftsman. He and his helper Michael were on site every day. They were timely and extremely professional. We were amazed that they were able to carry out the entire renovation/repair (a total of 4.5 weeks of daily work) in a manner that allowed us to live in the House the entire time of the remodeling. We really cannot say enough about their performance. The paint lines in the new bathroom are very clean and level, and the overall feel of the room is beyond what we thought we will get. The new sink and tub drain much more effectively given the work they did, and the room went from being a semi dark to a white clean room with very adjustable lighting and new window too. SOD builders team worked well within the rules of making sure that the client is always happy, and we recommend them without any doubts. If we decide to have another project, major or small, we will not hesitate to hire them again.

We just had our whole house renovation (from new windows to wood floor, new carpet, crown moldings all new baseboard, kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Removing some structure walls to open kitchen space to creating a new shower in the powder room bath and filling in the step down living room). This review is an over 3 months late. We wanted to experience the live in it and use the cabinets and drawers to make sure that everything is in good shape before we provide this review. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are beautiful and of excellent high quality. The wood floor is absolutely gorgeous and many compliments. To be more specific, we got complements of everything in the house from the new windows, the new carpet, word floor, bath and kitchen. Oren has a good heart, a great guy that runs the show (so to speak) and honest family business. I appreciate he told us how much it will cost on certain things and to be realistic and not to spend more. Oren was able to figures different ways to save us some money. He was able to send someone back to our house to do some touch up’s that we noticed 2 months later. Of course there are some bumps on the way during the renovation but with this massive renovation we think it was not too bad and very happy we chose SOD builders. The remodeling could be little bit more organize at times but we are not in this business so hard for us to say. All the guys came are so nice and works very hard. Big start of appreciation we want to give to Jason, Juan, Oren, Avi (electrician), Brain, David, Patricia n Johan (the Plummer), and so many people to thank them. Sorry if we forgot or couldn't remember everyone. We couldn't believe all the work and details that went into the house. We are very happy with our new beautiful home. We definitely get a big smile every morning when we walk down to our new kitchen to make even coffee or food. Thank You Oren and SOD builders!!!

Excellent, very Professional, Specialized, Outstanding, First-rate. I cannot give SOD builders enough praise for the work that he did at my house. Oren and his team of workers and subs were honestly a blessing. I searched almost everywhere for a General contractor that will be honest and reliable, reaching out to all of my friends, family & neighbors using almost any online site for contractors; but that just returned horror stories. Then I found SOD builders and their references were excellent. When I meet Oren I realized that he was all business and his passion about construction is beyond any explanation. He explained to me the process and explained everything I needed to do before he could begin to give us an accurate estimate for the work. Most contractors feel you out and throw numbers out to try to find your max. Oren worked with me to get the most done to fit my budget and keep me from over spending money on things that I don’t need. From the first day of work I could see the professionalism, SOD builders was always on time and working full steam ahead. There was never a time that I showed up to the job site and the crew was not working. I cannot say how many job sites I have gone to and found that the crew was short a few members or guys were sitting down, etc. SOD builders made our dream home come to life. I would recommend SOD builders to anyone without hesitation. This is the kind of team you need on any project and the kind of honesty that you can't find very often. I advise anyone looking for a Professional company look no further. You won't be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Oren and his professional staff highly enough! I asked SOD builder’s help about a 2 months before I wanted to have my house painting done. I was moving into a beautiful house that I just purchased, however, the house paint (brown all over the bedrooms, yellow walls and ceiling in the bathrooms and other colors in the rest of the house) made me cringe each time I saw the houses. The exterior paint of the house was even worse than the inside. My main goal was to really feel like my home with my own colors, during my meeting with Oren, he patiently answered all my questions and concerns about the paint problems and the conditions of the walls as well as he advised me and recommended me on which colors will work best in the house. I had a lot of questions and kept being indecisive about the colors I wanted. Oren spent a lot of time with me to not only understand what I wanted but to also send his recommendations since he has so many years of experience. I felt like I was his only client! Oren also advise me on how to get the most value for my money without sacrificing quality. On the starting day of work, his guys showed up on time and ready to start. Oren assigned to my house 3 teams of 2 painters each. They got to work immediately, and Oren did a walk through with me to confirm everything we had discussed. When the guys finished, I couldn't believe my eyes! The House had been transformed completely and looked exactly how I had wanted! All the walls were completely covered, smooth lines between the ceilings and walls, and the guys even touched up my baseboards and closets. My place looked brand new!On the other hand, the exterior walls were handled by 1 team of workers. I have hired SOD builders Company already in the past and I was very happy with the work that they did and the price that I got from them. My last remodeling that they did was for a full kitchen remodeling and it was about 3 years ago. They were on-task, honest, and easy to work with. I was really pleased with the completed kitchen. The kitchen remodeling included new floor, cabinets, paint, lighting, counter top and back splash. While it was a good price and not cheap, the high quality of the results justified the expense, in my opinion. This time I hired them to paint my house inside and outside. The work was managed and handled by Oren and his painters. Oren was able to assign several people to the work and they were able to work on the exterior paint and the other ones inside. What I liked about Oren and the guys is that they put a lot of attention to the details and they made sure that it will be as close to perfect as possible. The work took close to 3 weeks and all the color combinations and samples were selected by Oren and I had the final word to select from them. The painters that worked at my house were nice and professional. They arrived to work on time and they didn’t miss any day during the work. In the inside of the house, they worked area after area and they moved the things and covered them and bring them back after the space was done.

We had a great experience with SOD BUILDERS. They painted our house inside and outside in order to get it ready for sale right after, and every part of the process went smoothly and without any problem or issue. Here are the main keys that caused us to write this review and to recommend them for any paint work: 1. the initial meeting was with Avi the salesman was very good. Avi walked inside the house and saw everything. Outside the house, he went around and checked all the walls and what he need to do there. After he looked and saw what need to be done, he set with us and provided us with several examples of work and showed us samples and prices so we will have an idea about what can he do. 2. Avi didn’t try to push us to sign and lock the sale. In fact, he asked to schedule another meeting after we will think about it and check other companies. 3. Avi assigned to our house 5 people that at first, they fixed all the stucco around the house and prepare the walls and ceilings inside the house. More than that, he made sure that all the furniture’s and items will be covered or moved to another room. 4. The workers came over to the house each day at 8:30 and left at 5:00. They made sure to clean as much as they could each day so the house will not be a mess as it should. 5. Avi and the painters were very organized. After Avi came to give us the quote, he emailed me the estimate. The estimate was very detailed and professional. It included everything that they will do including the type of paint and materials. 6. On the day they started the job, Avi did a walk-through and had a sheet that listed everything in the estimate. He went through each point to make sure what we wanted to have done was clear. 7. The painters’ crew who worked at the house on a daily basis (Jason, Daniel, Mike, Jose and Juan) were professional and super friendly. 8. The price that we got was very fair compare to the quality of the work that they did. We had another estimate that was a little bit lower (but according to our research, that company wasn't good or organized), another company that we talked to was much higher. We also had another painting job done at our new house recently, and in comparison, I think SOD BUILDERS's rates are very reasonable. 9. The Painters made sure that everything is right. After the job was completed, I noticed some small things I wanted to have touched up, and they came right away and took care of it quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and I would use them again.

SOD builders just finished a full remodeling of our house. It all started with our meeting with Oren and Michele by measuring and understanding what we want to do. Michele came over several times and presented to us her designs and Oren was the person that tried each time to improve the space and to maximize the quality of the materials. The remodeling started with the Kitchen and bathroom at the same stage of work, while the work in the kitchen in process, Oren and his workers started to work on the dining room & laundry room. The plumbing and main rain replacement repairs work was done by several of his people and they did a great job in that part too. The kitchen that we remodeled was with oak wood and included an island, counter tops, new outlets and appliances.The hallways contained several closets and storage spaces that were designed and installed by Oren and his people. All exterior windows and texture coated the exterior of our house. We had never before taken on anything like this and Oren walked us through every step of the way from permitting to code to design explaining what needed to be done in realistic steps. The crew of workers showed up to the house on time every day and did a very professional job in all respects. Any difficulties were taken care of immediately by either Oren or Avi. Many great ideas came from these 2 and also from Michel. The proof that SOD builders are great company is at the end results, as now we have a beautiful home with all the modern touches and for much less than other bids that had much less work involved. Everything that Oren said he would do, he did. I would recommend SOD builders for any size job you have in mind, they stand by their word.

The removal of carpet, found some cracks indicative of foundation damage. The city engineer asked me to provide a geologic report which Oren (contractor) arranged for, Oren worked with the city to settle on required remediation, (significant concrete footing additions and drainage) which was responsible for 1/3 of total cost. Oren and his workers also replaced the stair banister and rail and installed new front door. My Comments about the work that was done: The project timeline schedule was extended significantly by the discovery of the need for foundation work and the involvement of the City in that process. Otherwise, all the work that Oren and his workers did, were excellent, timely and efficient. Each day the workers made sure that the work site will be clean before they left the house and mainly they made sure that I will stay livable through entire process. The Workers were very skilled and eager to please me by doing an excellent work. We had purchased new lighting for the house and they arranged for an electrician to do the installation for us. Oren, the project manager, was excellent at keeping us apprised of scheduled work times and visits, and with suggestions or variations of our ideas to enhance the house further. The business owner, was on site from time to time, including at the foundation specialist's initial visit. Occasionally additional work was recommended, generally for completion of the remodeling, or as recommended for long term benefit. SOD builder?s quality of work is excellent, they are honest, and the price of the work is fair. I cannot overstate my satisfaction with my relationship with them.

SOD builders has remodeled our kitchen at our house. We chose SOD because they are a "one stop shop". They handled the design (Michelle is a great designer), project management (that was handled by Avi), inspections, and all the labor for all the projects. The design of the kitchen speak for itself. Michelle was able to design the kitchen in a way that it made our living space much more usable than it ever was before. We ran into some issues that we did not anticipate, but we were not surprised since the house had those issues due to previous remodels that did not done to code. All changes (electrical, plumbing, architectural, etc.) are now to code. One issue encountered was upgrading the electrical to the island in our kitchen. Because the original electrical pipe was not thick enough to pull old and new wires through, a new pipe had to be installed to get electrical to the island. There was also an issue after the project was done where the fan/vent installed had a small leak...which was only discovered after heavy rains. SOD fixed this issue promptly. Michelle's design gave us a great-looking kitchen, more storage, and more natural light. We did use a temporary storage area for our kitchen furniture, but SOD did build a small covered area within the kitchen/dining area for temporary use (i.e. microwave, refrigerator). Avi from SOD was the main person that handled this remodeling and we worked hand by hand with him. Avi was very communicator person and he made sure to inform us about everything that involved with this remodeling. His communication skills made our life easier and comfortable. During the remodeling, we had several teams of people that worked each day. The workers were nice and polite as well and they did a perfect work.
