A bad start to your project is like having a bad foundation; no matter what you do afterwards it will all come falling down eventually. I don’t know how many times I’ve gone to homeowner’s property after they started the project on their own. “ I thought it wouldn't be a problem, I would just hire all the contractors, and do some of the work myself. I figured I could save thousands of dollars, but now my project is over budget along with my contractors, and has become a disaster…can you help me?” The ugly, is when you hire the wrong contractor that doesn’t know what they’re doing; someone who is not qualified and out for a quick buck. There are thousands of them out there, licensed and unlicensed, who are just looking to do mediocre work for double the cost. I know that contractors do have a bad name because of this; I like to call them cowboys.First of all let me introduce myself, Daniel O'Keeffe, and thank you for taking the time to look at my page.I have been working in construction now far over 20 years. I decided to start my own company because, I knew I could run a better business than the contractors I have been working for. Most other contractors only care about the money and how fast they can take it from you. That's no way to do business, why not take some pride in your work , look after your customers and in time you will reap the rewards. That is my philosophy and so far it's proven to work for me. I've never been happier at work since I started my own company and long may it continue. Hi [member name removed], My apologies for the bad experience you had with my company. Unfortunately I do not recall any voice messages that you left on my phone. I went over all my emails and voice messages and cannot seem to find any left by you. Not sure if this is a problem on my end, I normally respond to every voice message, even if we are too busy to take on the project, at that particular time. I get an unbelievable amount of calls from telemarketers trying to sell me advertising who don’t leave voice messages. Therefore, I only respond to actual voice messages and not miss calls.
