Master Plumbing

I would give 0 star, if I can. The manager of this office, Mark Wright, handled my case. I simply only need an annual backflow test. The test failed the first time. I want to understand what is broken before paying more to repair. Mark can't explain clearly in the email or phone call what is broken. I insisted to have an appointment with technician to be onsite together to understand the problem. It turns out the suggested repair (service the relief valve) can't fix the problem. I am glad that I can meet the tech. The failure is due to a bad relief stem instead. Then I asked to repair the broken part. I keeps checking in for the progress by email and progress. Email has no response. Mark promised to call me back but never. I have to keep calling until today Mark hung up my call. During today's call, I was not angry or had any emotion. I just want to ask why I called two days ago but there is no progress. He doesn't want to explain more. It is a simple test and repair. It already took a month already. I have been the one have to call in every few days to check progress. Mark promised so many times that he will call me back and he never called me back.

We called Master Plumber to fix slow flow of water out of our laundry tub by opening a nearby clean-out and cleaning out the drain pipe. The plumber explained that we would still have slow water drain due to the convoluted way the pipes were put in, so we chose not to do the job. I appreciate his honesty.Instead, we had him root the line to the street, unclog a tub, and improve flow in 2 toilets. He was efficient and effective. The only thing I didn't appreciate is we had requested a specific person come out who had done similar work for us before. The company sent someone else without notifying us. Turn out he was highly capable, but I would have liked advanced notice.

I was able to discuss the problems over the phone and came up with the best solution to the problem. They are very knowledgable and we have used them with great results in the past. They don't provide an estimate until they investigate the problem, but can give you a ballpark. They were under what I expected, given other plumbers quotes for worst case senario. Arrived on time and worked diligently to install fix. If you want solid plumbing work on your house, these are the guys to call. :) They were even patient with me as I was waiting for other quotes. Their assistant was very helpful and friendly on the phone. I was able to schedule the work within a week and they did a great job. Thank you Master Plumbing of Mountain View, now Sunnyvale (btw, do not confuse these guys with other plumbers of a similar name. No where near as good as the real deal.)

They were fine. They repaired the leak that I had and I have no complains. The price was reasonable and they came out within the day. It was all very efficiently done.

Master Plumbing was excellent and did good job.
