 + -1 moreJenna Bayer Garden Design did an outstanding job on our project. They designed a very creative walkway path, 1000 ft. long amongst the hilly terrain. Two of their designers spent a lot of time on our site doing measurements and investigating the visibility of different routes. They were flexible in facilitating our request. Their price was very reasonable for their service. They were courteous and reliable.

 + 0 moreEverything went very well. From my initial contact, through to the final installation, always was able to get questions answered. Jenna has done some follow up with me as well. If I had another project, I would hire her again! If I can figure out how to post a photo, I will.
Description of Work: A small, but prolematic, front yard needed a designers eye to offset the 1894 house. Jenna took time to understand my gardening sensibilities, while considering the nature of the home. I needed to have existing plants removed, a new planting design defined, soil replacement, and a simple irrigation system. Jenna provided me with an initial drawing, with planting details. I committed to the project and recieved a wonderful booklet detailing the plants that would be installed. Her crew arrived and removed almost all the existing plants, as well as some of the soil. Then wonderfully fertile and rich soil was brought in and worked into the space. I think between 20-30 plants were installed; a combination of shrub, flowering, and dwarf trees. The end objective is a mixture of texture, colors, and fragrance. I gave the quality a 'B' rating for 2 reasons 1) my existing rose bush was traumatized. However, Jenna did bring in an additional rosebush. And 2) a couple of the lavendars did not make it despite my watering. I think maybe they were kind of sickly from the get-go. Having mentioned these little nits, I LOVE the space. I now have a front yard that offsets my old house. I cannot wait to see it continue to grow and flourish.
