Global Rug Specialist

I had two old Japanese hooked wool rugs with an elaborate floral pattern (4' x 6' and 3' x 5'), found in a house that I'd inherited. They were filthy and looked horrible. Several years ago I took them to a carpet/rug cleaner, who refused to do anything with them. But I liked them, and didn't want to give up on them, and could visualize how pretty they'd look if cleaned. Recently I took them to Global Rug Specialist, which specializes in selling, cleaning, and repairing orientals. Now the top side looks the same as the bottom side, color-wise, and I am very pleased. They did it by washing with water. They charged half of what another carpet/rug cleaner wanted for the job. The people there are very pleasant and easy to deal with.

I am very happy with their customer service and their professionalism. The gentleman that I worked with is very nice. The price is not very good compared to steam cleaners, but if you want personal care towards your items, the price is worth it. The gentleman pointed out a small flaw and asked if he could fix it. They will also haul the rugs from your home or to and from your car. This personal care is invaluable and worth every penny. The only problem I have had, is working with those who do not speak English well. I have only had one incident when this has happened. My overall experience with this company was very good and will use them again in the future.
