Description of Work: Cosmos removed my old heavy shake roof, installed new board and put on new composition shingles. The job lasted longer than expected as one of the workers fell ill, but the family rallied and worked on the roof as well. Also, we had extreme heat and roofing is not something that workers do well in such conditions, and there was a holiday long weekend and this type of work cannot be done on weekends in my community. Kudos to them! The roof looks great, so far works great and they kept everything clean and tidy during the process.

Description of Work: Complete new class A shake roof, gutters and downspouts. Did not advise of early morning deliveries. Did not advise of range of choices of downspouts. Damaged but then repaired the TV roof cable. Did not put some new roof vents in same location (back of house)as previously installed.

Description of Work: Re-roofed. |They were busy so we had to wait many weeks but they are worth waiting for.

Description of Work: They took off the old wooden shake roof and replaced it with a steel tile roof. |This was over fifteen years ago so I do not recall the details. I do remember that there were no problems and that we are happy with the roof.

Description of Work: From the estimate to the actual roof was extremely quick. Alex and his crew were very pleasant people to work with. The workers completed the job in three days and everything was very clean and tidy when they left. Getting a new roof was totally painless! Would totally recommend them.

Description of Work: Alex and Leo were on top of things. They were fast, performed as specified and on time. Used the agreed to materials. At the end of the job all was clean and in place.

Description of Work: Replaced the rear flat roof section (1,100 sq ft) with a burn-down white roof & did a few trim extras to boot. Able to work with me on having me do some of the sub-roof repair. Very good attention to detail (experience definitely shows).

Description of Work: They replaced my roof. I interviewed three other roofers and Cosmos impressed me with their responsiveness and politeness. They have their own team and would sign a lien release if asked. Did not try to sell me on products, just answered questions on what materials I wanted.

Description of Work: They cleaned off my roof, patched necessary areas, sealed around my chimney and made sure my eves were intact and in good condition. They removed my down spouts and inserted metal tubes for water chains. Great job and timely! I'll use them again! Another company wanted $2000 to do the same thing!!

Description of Work: Provided detailed quote. We had to rebuild rafters on part of the house, they did a great job. Also quoted on and demoed old patio structure. Kept us updated, crew was professional, cleaned up site everyday. Alex even drove us around the neighborhood when we were trying to chose shingles!

Description of Work: Remove 2 layers of old roofing, replace with CertainTeed Max Def Heather Blend Pro shingles, Mountain Ridges. I have a small house so they were done inside of 3 days. So far, no surprises. | |I really liked that they offered the Angie's discount up front - other quotes did not include this. Also, that this is a local family owned business. | |Remember to ask questions, and ask to do your own inspection after they are done.

Description of Work: Cosmos did an excellent job from start to finish. The project was an expensive one for our family, so I appreciated their attention to detail and their willingness to answer lots of questions before even landing the job. I did speak to other roofing companies where the service seemed comparable, but they would not install a shake roof. Several of them actively tried to dissuade me from buying a shake roof. I ultimately elected to install shake because everything I read said that the home, a single-story ranch on the Peninsula, was built with the qualities of a shake roof in mind. We rarely use an air conditioner because our home breathes even in the depths of summer. The new roof seems to have preserved that essential quality.

Description of Work: Thoroughly examined our old tar and gravel roof and gave us several options for replacement. Went with a 20-year guarantee CR Thermal White Capsheet energy efficient roof. Replaced several dry rot fascia boards and suggested additional downspouts for better drainage. The price quoted was right on. We were able to take advantage of a government energy savings rebate which they helped us with. The work was professionally done and we were completely satisfied.

Description of Work: Complete tear-off & re-roof of house and detached garage. Replaced several gutters. Called Cosmos for estimate appointment and Alex showed up at time agreed upon. I have 2 structures, house and detached garage. He thought house surely needed roof replacement but thought I could wait on garage as roof still had life in it and suggested it would keep cost down to do just house, nice! I wanted both done however. I had two other estimates and Cosmos's estimate was right in the ballpark, so having a good feeling about them, I signed up. Workers came when promised, were courteous, did the work quickly, cleaned up each day and even put up with all my questions. Roof came out great and I will recommend Cosmos whole heartedly.
