Description of Work: Have used Cal preserving multiple times through the years to sand, stain and repair sections of 30, 450 square foot redwood deck. This year, Bruce's team pressure washed, reset nails, sanded, stained entire deck, and replaced three rotting boards. Work was completed over three day period.

Description of Work: We asked them to strip and reseal our deck. We had a bit of a miscommunication at first, probably our fault because we did not listen to their good advice. So at first we were not happy with the work but they came back, re-did the whole thing and its a beautiful redwood deck and now we get great compliments on the color!

Description of Work: Cal Preserving was very responsive. Because the "Angie's List deal" was not clear on several details, we had to work out what would be included, and that was done very well. Frankly, I'm not sure how much of a "deal" it was, but my only real concern was that we receive very good value and service for the price, and that was certainly true. I will be scheduling a deck restoration every 3 years with Cal Preserving from now on.

Description of Work: I had Cal Preserving come out because a previous business attempted to power wash and preserve my two redwood decks. In short, they did a horrible job and left the decks so sticky I couldn't walk on them! Cal Preserving came out and did a wonderful job and even though it cost me extra money to fix the previous business poor work it turned out great! The workmen were more than qualified to do the work and were professional. I highly recommend this company. If you hire them you will get a detailed estimate of all the work/cost they will do and they make it clear you will not pay until you are satisfied! Kudos to a business where they are proud of their work and believe in customer service!

"Both Ann and I are very delighted with the work that you and your team did to wash and sand and preserve our 300 sq foot deck. It looks like new today after years of a drab gray color. The mahogany color of the mangaris wood has re-emerged, and it now looks like a fine piece of outdoor furniture attached to our home. Your crew was very professional. I spoke with the foreman and he was friendly and accessible. And the crew put all the furniture back on the deck after the work was completed, so it looked very inviting when we got home on Wednesday evening. As for price, you were very competitive with our two other bids. Now that the work has been completed, I know that you were the right group to go with. The work has been performed well, and the results have exceeded our expectations. I’m also happy that you work well on the internet and kept in touch with us frequently via email, sending us the estimate and expected schedule of work.
