MG Constructors & Engineers

Job went very well. Mark, Matt and their team went above and beyond to make sure that I was completely happy with the finished product. They showed up when they said they were going to, and they were extremely nice and professional. The deck is fantastic, and we couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend MG Constructors for anyone looking for an honest contracting company that focuses on quality workmanship.

They appeared to do a good job. They were prompt. There were 2 people here and they laid out the diagram of what was wall bearing in the house, what direction beams moved and everything else. I would use them again. My overall experience was very good. They are structural engineers so even though I gasped a bit and I suppose that's the owing price for structural engineers. They are professionals and I'm willing to pay. Their price was average. They were on time because in California we are not made of Californians. We are found getting contractors here on time is a real challenge. These guys were right on time. They did their job in the time they allotted and then they gave me the information I wanted. I've waited for days for a plumber.

Mark was very professional, courteous, and extremely thorough. He was on time and worked very diligently, explaining both his methods and his results in great detail (and in layman's terms that we could understand). His final report was remarkably thorough and very useful to us both in our buying decision and later in communicating foundation issues to contractors. It included not only an evaluation of current condition, but also an extensive series of recommendations for action (in many cases offering multiple alternatives at different price levels). It also clearly explained what was *not* inspected, making clear the boundaries of his work. The work performed and Mark's expertise were clearly an excellent value for the cost of the inspection. We would use Mark again.

It was difficult to get an appointment. MG Constructors is extremely busy, but once the job was scheduled and started, they were extremely professional and our final price was on target with his estimates. We chose them because they were highly recommended by our real estate agent, as a premier contractor (by Alain Pinel Realty), and had excellent references for residential work.

Excellent job! Workers showed up on time and all work was completed on schedule. The workers used great care and we were able to reuse many materials, including trim. Workers were very clean and kept work area safe. We had one minor problem with electrical outlets not working after they left. They sent someone out the next day, found the loose connection and all has been great ever since. I'm VERY happy with the work done. It took a little while to get the job scheduled, but we weren't in a hurry.
