Description of Work: Mr. Higginbottom came and did the measuring for me. He has been in the business for years and really knows flooring. He is a very personable gentleman. His son, Chris, came with his assistant to install the floor and they completed it in one day. It is gorgeous! and they did a good job of patching the old floor where I moved a door.

carpet installation
+ -1 moreI selected Higgenbottom as they were local to Morgan Hill. Unfortunately, their installation was horrible with unfinished edging along the walls, visible seams in the the middle of the room and the worst job I have ever seen on any stairway. In fact, the work was completed in just one day and it really looked terrible. I called the owner, Harold Higginbottom who visited our house and rescheduled rework. Most of the of the issues were corrected however we still have an ugly seam a hallway. I also did not like that they did not address our complaint that the Carpet to Tile transition was left unfinished, something which I had to correct myself. I would probably not use them again.
Description of Work: Installed approximately 1500 sq. ft. of new medium quality Berber carpet.

Description of Work: Remove old carpet and padding and replace with new carpet and padding upstairs and downstairs. Furniture was carefully moved out of the way and put back where we wanted it.

+ 0 moreIt is a family owned company and they are a very respectable company, their work is of great quality and pretty much grade A in every aspect. They did a great job and they work in a timely fashion and were good about picking up after themselves.
