They were very good. I ended up needing a roof vent. Everything was very efficiently done. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. The San Jose inspector wouldn't pass my home because there was something on the roof from 1957 that wasn't supposed to be there. KRM didn't put this in so it wasn't their fault. They came in cheaper than the other roofer.

Amazing service and overall experience. I called several companies, as I was very anxious to get the repair done as soon as possible -- we had been getting quite a bit of heavy rain and I was very worried about damage to the the wall and interior of the house as well as the roof. Not only did Jim Krause answer my call immediately (one company didn't even show up for their scheduled inspection) he was prompt and very courteous during the inspection. The work was completed on schedule just before the rain started up again. As part of the repair, he included a quick inspection of the roof to look for any other obvious damage -- it's a tile roof and I was concerned about other areas that might be potential problems. During the work, his roofer found a few broken tiles and was able to replace these as well and still completed the work under the quoted price. We had another heavy rain shower that night, and I am happy to report there are absolutely no signs of leaks!

I would highly recommend them. I have recommend them to other friends that have also used them.

I would rate him very highly. They are just very professional, it was very evident they knew what they were doing. I did quite a bit of research and he had a very experienced crew. I was home and I watched them throughout and they did a fabulous job. We've had quite a bit of rain and there's been absolutely no problem. They did a lot of the detail work I think others won't. He was very straight forward in his bid and what he was doing. We had a good exchange, there were some unique things that I had concerns about. We talked about it and he made adjustments as he got in the job and saw some things. I was very impressed. I had four different bids, he's was next to lowest and I had recommendations from a personal friend who had him do three different roofs and really liked him every time. Another very interesting recommendation was from a friend who told me about a general contractor, I called that contractor and he said he doesn't do just roofs so I asked him who he used and the first name he said was Jim Krause. He gave me some other names, too, but he said his first choice was Jim Krause by far. There is the set price at the beginning and then of course things can come up during the job. I felt more confident with him and the guy who was a little bit lower. I told him he was welcome to use me as a reference in the future for others he might be giving a bid to. I would strongly recommended to my friends.

Our roof was about 6,500 sq ft. We were extremely pleased with the work performed. Jim never tired of the many questions I had before I selected him. He worked with one steady crew. His people were very pleasant, helpful and diligent. They kept the place as clean as possible and cleaned up every day. The job was done on time. Moreover, his bid was very attractive compared with the competition. I would not hesitate one second to call him again for the next job. This was one project we had dreaded. It turned out to be the smoothest we have ever dealt with.

This company did an excellent job for us. They were very helpful in helping us pick the type and color of the new roofing material. In fact they even gave us a referral that had the same style and color of the material we chose so we could see what it looked like before we made a final decision. They were very careful in scheduling the work around potential weather problems so we wouldn't have to worry about rain while the roof was off. They did a great job and the roof looks wonderful.
