pool cleaners
+ -1 moreHe cleaned the tile with glass beads using a compressor. He used my pool equipment to vacuum glass beads which caused my pool pump seal to fail and potentially motor bearings. I'm having someone else fix my pump. The pool tile repair was uneven and very sloppy. My only regret was not being home when he completed the work. I saw the work a day after and was not happy at all. I called and have yet to receive a call back from Juan. This was a very bad experience for us. I would NOT use this guy for any work and would NOT recommend his services to anyone. Please beware of pool service company called The Pool Physician.
Description of Work: I was to get some pool tile repaired along with tile cleaning. I found The Pool Physician - Juan Sandoval on craigslist. He had pictures of before and after regarding his work. Unfortunately, my after work did not reflect the type of quality his work revealed on craigslist.

pool cleaners
+ -1 moreHe initially gives the impression of someone very knowledgeable. I felt that he has been knowledgeable. He was polite. I only wanted my pool and spa cleaned. He provided a morning time of 7:00 AM which was a good time since I have to be at work at 8:00 AM. It was necessary for him to be punctual since I have dogs that must be let out during the day, and I did not wish to have anyone in the yard when they were out and I was not at home. If I had to say anything was the most difficult it was thta there was a lack of punctuality and poor communication. If I received notification about a schedule change then that would have been adequate. It's just that the communication was not there.
Description of Work: Mr. Sandoval was very polite. Service was on a weekly basis. The above date was the last appointment. Comments relate to the total experience to date. Cost was 90.00/month. All work was performed at residence. He did a good job in cleaning pool and Spa. There was some communication difficulties not due to language. Sometimes calls were unanswered. He stated that he did not get messages left for him. Occassionally he gave misinformation, for example related to the pool/filter timer. He missed some appointments without prior notice. He was not always punctual. I might use him again but I would prefer someone who was punctual and communicated better. There did not appear to be any problems with language.
