John's Clean Up & Haul

Price ended up being more than double the Angie's List deal (we did not have double the waste). Very few specifics were given on that at the beginning, seemed like deliberate miscommunication. Then when we questioned the cost at the end, he threatened to take all the junk back out and leave it with us. Very unprofessional.

I bought a coupon for John to haul a lot of junk since we are moving and he was on-time and very fast! Since we had more than what the coupon was for, we asked him about the other items that needed to be removed he agreed to take them for an additional fee. Very reasonable! We're completely satisfied with the results, and we'll call him again.

These are the hardest working guys in the hauling business. Over the years my back yard had some how acquired a couple of old BBQ's, an antique wide screen TV, a chimnea and even a early 70's tool shed that had long since stopped holding tools and became a spider ranch. John and his partner made quick work of all of this, not just hauling away the junk, but knocking down that old shed in record time and hauling away the debris. My yard looked twice as big! Not to mention much, much cleaner. I would recommend John's Clean-Up & Haul to anyone.

It was okay. It was a little bit more than the big deal amount because I think he said like just whatever could fit in the back of his truck. So then I told him some of the things that we had and he said, "Well, I can bring like a bigger truck or van and it will be a little bit more." I think it ended up being like $120 or $140. They're very, very fast. I was already like kind of cleaning stuff and so they took quite a number of large things. I think they specified clean-up or something like that, but they didn't really stick around to clean up. I guess, they just saw that I was cleaning and just said, "Well, I guess you could just keep cleaning." If I would have asked them, "Can you clean?" or whatever, they probably would have but I didn't say anything.

John was super quick to respond. I called him the day before, and he fit me in without a problem. He got there on time, and very quickly loaded all the junk I had left over in the garage. I had some boxes, ironing board, a couple mops a bunch of house cleaning bottles. Also, I had a large exercise set in the upstairs bedroom, and he grabbed his tools, went upstairs and took it apart so he could bring it down to the truck in pieces. And everything took about 15 minutes. I've recommended him to a few friends in the area that were looking to clean up as well.

He was magnificent: called to confirm app't, called to let me know when he was arriving ( the exact time I needed him) efficiently moved my all my items in less than an hour, and was polite too boot! I would use him again in a New York second!

They are good. There’s nothing I didn’t like about them, as a matter of fact, I gave them a little bit more money than what they asked for.

I live out of state, and all my communication with John was via email and telephone. Although we never met, I was consistently impressed with his accessibility, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate unexpected situations. I have high standards, and throughout the process, John exceeded my expectations. Over the years, tons of construction debris, tires, and trash had been dumped on a parcel of vacant land in the desert near Desert Hot Springs. I called John and requested a bid for cleaning up the property. Despite the fact that his bid required a drive out to the job site, he was able to provide a very reasonable bid within two days. He also provided photographs showing the "before" condition of the property. We planned to sell the property to a Conservancy district, and they had very strict requirements for the state of the property. They asked to meet with John to show him the plot boundaries, and to explain their requirements for the cleanup. He once again made the long drive to the job site to meet with the buyer's representative. Despite numerous scheduling issues and changes that were all imposed by the sale of the property, John was very accommodating. The work was completed on time, as scheduled. This was a big job that required multiple trips to recycling centers and the landfill. Whenever possible, the materials were recycled. The crew hauled away more than 110 tires and seven tons of garbage. John provided copies of the disposal receipts and photographs showing the "after" condition of the property. I was very impressed. I should also mention that John's bid for the clean-up work was nearly $1000 less than a bid provided by a local contractor who was recommended by the Conservancy District. Bargain rates. Flexible and dependable scheduling. Excellent work. He exceeded my expectations. It all adds up to superior service.

You get 3.5 cubic I believe it was, the providers says about the size of three washers. He was fair, when we had a little over he suggested instead of using my other purchase to just pay a little extra, because the extra was not close to the second $99.00 coupon. I appreciated that.

John was running a little late but did call and let us know which in my eyes this show professionalism. John and his assistant arrived and picked up all the debris within 15 mins. They were both very friendly and we would use them again.

John was able to come out that afternoon and load up and haul away all the debris from the drain installation as well some additional stuff we had laying around. He and his helper were wonderful to work with.

They came promptly and when I told them that someone came earlier and removed some heavy recyclable steel without my permission, John shrugged it off and went right to work. That was the quickest cleanup I've ever seen.

I think he is great. He is just so very accommodating. He was a very hard workers. He was very thorough and listened to everything I had asked for and did the very best that he could. I was very impressed with him. In fact, I would like to use him again. The price was at advertised but I gave him a nice tip because he earned every penny of it.

They arrived late because they went to the wrong address, but they did call to let me know. So not a big deal. I was happy to have it all gone. I had a lot of junk from some remodeling work, lots of carpet, padding, drywall, etc.

I am always happy when a job gets done properly the first time. I will continue to use this company.

Terrific. I purchased on one of the Big Deals and it was a great deal. John came with a helper so the stuff I needed removed from the back got removed quickly. After he left I thought of MORE stuff. I should have had him haul as he had room and the deal is if it fits in the truck, which is ample. He was responsive, courteous, worked quickly even in a drizzle. It was helpful that he was able to work us into his schedule so quickly. He will also haul household items but we had some old yard things We DEFINITELY will call him when we are ready to finish up the rest of the stuff in the back yard. Excellent work, we are happy.

Scheduled an appointment for trash pick-up, and John and his associate arrived on time. They surveyed the amount of pick-up and they immediately started to remove the items to the truck. They were extremely nice and pleasantly to work with. I strongly recommend this company for clean-up and removal needs.

I'm writing this two hours after I called to schedule a pickup. The service has already been completed! The staff were prompt, industrious, congenial and strong. I cannot imagine receiving better service. I purchased an Angie's Deal, so I thought it would take some time to schedule a pick-up. I was pleasantly surprised they could do the pick-up today, and now I'm thrilled that the stuff is gone. I had been thinking of asking my brother to take the stuff away, but didn't want to deal with the cajoling I'd have to do... and the big dinner I'd have to fix for him. Seriously, my brother is now off my list for any further hauling and I'll call John's. Very nice men with good, professional attitudes. And I don't have to cook for them!

John quickly sized up the area and, with the help of an assistant, began moving all items quickly to his van. The heavy granite base was whisked away, after meeting a sledge hammer, and I couldn't have been happier to see it go. The area was raked and cleaned so quickly that I actually couldn't believe it.
