We agreed to Tuesday the following week at 9 AM and concluded our call. On Tuesday at 9 AM guess what, no Mike Pringle. I waited until 10:30 AM and called his cellphone. There was no answer and it went to voicemail. As of 2 PM I have still not received a return call explaining why he wasted my time. It's probably for the best now that I think about it, because even though things can happen that effect a persons ability to work when it comes to a business there should be a fallback plan in place. If something happens to the owner someone should still be answering the phone. Someone should still be able to go and give bids on new services and perhaps most importantly should be able to provide services for business that has already been complete. From my experience thus far if I did allow them to install a new furnace and air conditioner for me I could be into the hottest part of the year, my A/C could go out and I might not be able to get service for 3 or 4 days because no one is answering the phones. What if I live with a child and the temps are over 100 degrees am I suppose to get a hotel room so my child doesn't suffer until someone from MLP decides to answer the phones? A complete fail on their part and I would definitely NOT recommend their service. As a side note I called one of their local competitors who was recommended by Angie's List. Someone answered after the third ring. I will leave a review of them after I get a bid and see where it goes.
Description of Work: I was recommended MLP by realtor who had previous experience with them. Even though there was a negative review on Angie's List I decided to give them an opportunity to earn my business. I called the main number on their website on three different days all calls between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM. Not only did no one answer the phone, but there was no answering machine to take messages it's as if the business no longer exists. So, I called the second number on the website and it is a cell number with a message from the owner, Mike Pringle, stating that he was currently unavailable and to leave a message and he would get back as soon as possible. So, I left a message on 3 separate occasions all of the messages contained my full contact information. I received no call back and was about to the point of giving up on MLP when on Friday, my attempts to contact them started on Monday, he finally called. He stated that he had been in the hospital and apologized for not getting back to me. I felt sorry for his predicament and decided to give him an opportunity to make a bid.

They arrived when they said they would. Installed all the duct work and equipment in a very short time and very professionally. They answered all our questions and made sure everything worked properly before they left. The installer was very courteous.

I could no longer relay on the breeze to cool my home so I had MLP come out and give me a quote on having a new compressor and Heating and cooling unit installed. There bid was within my budget so we scheduled the job. Mike and his team showed up as scheduled and begin the work promplty. His team was clean and professional and completed the work within the agreed upon price quote and time. once the installiantion was done Mike walked me though the job expalining the entire process and showed my family and me how to opperate the new AC/Heat.

I woke up in the morning and went to turn my air conditioning on and nothing happened. I knew something was wrong and I needed to get it looked at. I remembered that a relative had used MLP Heating/Cooling recently and was happy with the service. I called and explained my issue to them, they were compassionate and said they would send a technician right away. Within the hour a technician arrived to evaluate the issue. The technician was very nice and explained what he was doing step by step, He showed me that my condenser and furnace needed to be replaced as well as all my ducts. The system was very old and I knew eventually I would have to replace all of it. They made me an offer right there and were very understanding about how much it costs. I told them to go ahead and just replace everything, but that I needed it done as soon as possible. They said the could be here at 8am the following day but that the job would take 2 days to complete as they were replacing everything. The next morning their team arrived exactly on time and they were very professional. They were clean, wore the same uniform, and explained what was going to happen as well as what noise they were going to be making. They put drop clothes down in the whole house so they wouldn't get it dirty and went to work. During the day they never stopped, I couldn't believe how hard they were working.The one in charge gave me several updates on the progress of the install, which was nice because I knew things were getting done. The first day came to an end and they cleaned up everything! They left no tools and and my house was left cleaner than I left it. They arrived the next day at the agreed time and finished up the job. They finished up a little after noon and it was time to finish up the paperwork so we sat down and everything was explained about what was done and the cost. It was a great deal for all that they had to do and the service they provided. We then got up and they showed me my new condenser and furnace, and wow did it look sharp! I had tons of questions about how to operate my new thermostat and about how the new condenser and furnace worked. They took the time to answer every one of those questions so well, it made me feel comfortable knowing how everything ran and that i could operate it myself. MLP Heating/Cooling was the definition of Customer Service, Professionalism, and Punctuality. I will be recommending this company to anyone I hear needs help with Heating, Cooling, or Plumbing. I could not have been more satisfied with them, I'm happy there is still genuine companies still operating these days.

I was very satisfied with the service. The young men that performed the services explained everything in plain English to me and showed up when they said they would. I also liked that they were clean. I would recommend them indefinitely.
Description of Work: My husband and I called MLP to come and service our old air conditioning. They determined that it was out of freon gas and needed to be replaced with a new system. They provided a quote quickly and started the work the next week. They gave us a special filter system with free extra filters and put is on a program to come back and service the system.
