R&S is truly the best! I recently moved into a house to discover that the duct work of the HVAC system was thrashed. R&S came out and in a timely fashion they gave me an estimate, removed the old duct work and installed new duct work that was way more efficient and appropriate for the structure. In one afternoon between Isaiah, Dave and Dimas, with a few registers delivered by Rex, they had it all taken care of. They did it in a timely fashion and affordably as well. Everyone in the company from the office to the field, were friendly, capable, professional and well-versed. I love this family-owned and operated business, they are fantastic and highly recommended!!!

They were prompt on their arrival and did a thorough inspection, including the vents. They did find rodent activity in the ducts and they were not sealed properly. We were very happy we hired them because it was a health and safety issue that needed to be addressed. They were not hired for the cleaning/repair of the vents because the seller of the home had another company they wanted to hire and we said OK because they were paying for the repair.

R&S installed a new HVAC system in my rental house, Rich was very helpful explaining all the different types of systems helping us choose the system that was best for us, his crew was very polite and clean, they worked around our tenants schedule then Rich came back and spent time going over all the settings and making sure we were happy with our system. It went great! Bobby (the tech) was very knowledgeable and performed the work efficiently. He showed up within the appointment window and was done in about an hour. We are happy with his cleanliness and professionalism. The new smart thermostat works great and he gave us a status on our duct system under the house. We will definitely hire R&S again!

Great. They informed us of the choices we had, including a hybrid furnace that can use solar energy (from our system) to power the heating/cooling function as needed.

I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Technician was prompt, courteous and professional. He addressed the original problem and fixed 3 other problems he found and showed me.

They have provided the best customer service that I have ever received. This is a family owned business. Rich Russo is the owner. I spoke with Janice, Rich's wife, on the phone several times. His son Justin and another guy Joe Gallagher installed the system. Rich over saw everything. They first came and looked at everything and then they gave me an estimate. They gave me several options and explained my options to me with all benefits. I felt very comfortable making a choice and never felt forced to make a choice. They brought over space heaters since my heat went out until they could work me in. They explained everything they were doing and communicated very well with me. When they were finished with the job they did a terrific job cleaning up. They were respectful and polite. After the job was done, Rich gave me a binder with all the information of the unit I purchased. They told me to call with any questions. The reprogrammed the heater. I have never had this type of customer service. I was ready to write out the check right away, but he said he does not ask for a deposit up front. He bills you after the equipment is installed because he wants to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction and correctly.

Rich @ R&S came by to give me a quote to replace my older furnace. Rich (One of the owners) actually changed what could have been an easy sales job into a service call. He inspected our furnace and found a very simple issue as to why it was not operating properly. Not only did he fix it free of charge, he explained that purchasing a heater at this point was not needed. Rich's honesty and professionalism went a long way with my wife and I. R&S will be my first and last call next time we need anything dealing with our furnace.

We recently installed a completely new heating system in our 120+ year old home in Pacific Grove. After meeting with and receiving bids from 3 potential HVAC contractors, we selected R&S Heating and Sheet Metal. It turns out to have been an outstanding choice! From start to finish we were impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, skill, punctuality, and fabulous customer service provided by Rich Russo (owner) and by his entire crew. They did everything they said they would do?and more! When the job was completed, we were told that a portion of the work included in the estimate/bid had not been needed, and the bill was revised (downward) to reflect that change! We would never have known if Mr. Russo had not mentioned it. Talk about integrity! We cannot say enough about how happy we are with the work we had done and with R&S Heating. Our home is now comfortable and we are enjoying winter in Pacific Grove. Anyone needing HVAC work should call R&S Heating....you will be glad you did!

I was extremely happy with the service. Bobby showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs. He also thoroughly cleaned one of the units which is an old floor heater. I highly recommend this vendor.

Job went extremely well - ontime, as scheduled. I had talked to a number of providers, but R&S was the only one to take the initiative to investigate the existing ducts, which had been poorly designed and installed and resulted on poor distribution of heat throughout the house. Was done over several days and arranged such that we were not without heat any night. Now the house is much more comfortable, more uniformly heated. All aspects of this job were done well. Good attention to details.

I had requested several bids from local businesses. The lowest bid was presented by R and S. The owner Rich came to my promptly and evaluated my homes requirements answered all my questions and presented a full disclosure bid in just a few days. He also asked me to contact him if I had any questions to call and did not pressure me to respond immediately to review it and then let him know our decision. Very impressive and professional. After deciding to go with R and S, Rich scheduled the install that fit both our schedules. One day before installation Rich called to make another appointment to make sure he had all materials ready and necessary for the job that would be started the next day. I was so impressed reminded elf the old saying"measure twice cut once". Rich checked twice to make sure all materials were on site so there would be no delay very professional The crew Joe and Joey arrived on time introduced themselves and started to work immediately. Joe and Joey are excellent installers very knowledgable and professional they kept me informed of step of the process respected my home and protected my belongings. Each day they cleaned up their work area. Final day was same as first everything went together beautifully. Rich is extremely fortunate to have such fine technicians Joe and Joey were also very respectful and polite an excellent quality and asset. To the business. Rich will schedule inspector's review of work that is convent for me and will be at site for final sign off. Outstanding job!! Many thanks to Rich, Joe, and Joey!!!!!

Richard of R&S Heating and Sheet Metal was the fourth contractor to quote the job of replacing an old 1950's furnace with a current energy efficient model. The price was midline to slightly higher than the other contractors. But what set R&S apart was their willingness to install the type of furnace requested where I wanted it installed - the old furnace had been installed in the only hall closet of the entire house and I needed that closet back! So while there never was an attic before this project, now there is an attic. I gained an energy efficient heater, an attic with access stairs & light as well as a hall closet. Well worth the money spent. The men who actually performed the work at the house were nice people, laid down work cloths to prevent damage and cleaned up after completing work each day. Not white glove clean, mind you. But still, the effort was made each day & I was appreciative. Well rounded in respect to construction, the majority of the old furnace was removed on Day 1 while the attic stairs went in and a new electric line for a light was installed in the this new attic on Day 2. Day 3 started with 3/4 inch particle board being nailed onto the rafters. This was then used as the major work surface & the new furnace with insulated ducting was installed. Day 4 was about running the gas line to the furnace, finding a path for the condensation line and finishing the walls with sheet rock & tape along with general final touches. My comfort level with this team was high enough that I was willing to leave the house and dogs while the team was working on Day 3. This is a testimony to my belief that my house, possessions and "children" were in safe hands. It's been 8 months since the installation and my heating bills did not go up - even though I was heating more than twice the space than the old heater. That's the new energy efficiency for you. But it was the installation in the attic that has continued giving back in ways that I couldn't have imagined when I made my request. I highly recommend R&S Heating for being willing to listen & work with their clients and for professionalism with a good honest team.
