Glass Doctor of Montebello

The provider never responded to my two emails requesting quotes. A general acknowledgment that my email was received and someone would be contacting me would have been nice.

It's been years but I am planning to go again. They were always helpful & kind.

The workers were neat, prompt, and courteous. The approximate cost is a guess because it took place three years ago. I do recall that it was very reasonable. I would call them again.

Very professional. When it took longer than anticipated to receive the glass top, they called to say that they had tried several times to make two precision cuts to accomodate the irregular top. They returned to suggest how they could remedy that, to which we agreed. It fit perfectly with the modifications we needed to make.

They did good work. I have used them several times and they have always been good. I would recommend them.

It turned out alright, overall. They were professional. The wrong windows were ordered originally. After some discussion, they did get the correct windows.

They were excellent. They came out and figured out the problem. They ordered the part and came back and installed it while I was at work. Everything was done as they said and they were very courteous.

Working with the Glass Doctors was the best experience of my entire bathroom remodel. They were extremely professional, punctual, and courteous. They knew exactly what I wanted and went the extra mile to match up the enclosure mounting hardware with the special order finish on my plumbing fixtures. Very satisfied with their work!!!

It went good, they gave us an estimate, told us how long it would take and when they could do it. They came when they said they would, they did the the job in the timeframe they said and paid what the estimate said,no hidden costs. A good experience

For each repair they come out to the home, take measurements and either give a quote on the spot or call with the quote when they return to the shop. I've had only good experiences with their work, they are very clean, knowledgeable and friendly. I will continue to use Glass Doctor for all of my glass and screen repair work.

Initially I had over looked the Glass Dr. because of poor reviews. I got a couple of other estimates, that seemed a bit high. I came back to Glass Dr. to see what their estimate would be. I was SURPRISED at their pricing, it was very reasonable a great bargain compared to what I had been quoted previously. I was so happy with the price I didn't even ask for the Angies List discount, their price was a great value. They came out and did final measurements and were very thorough and explained the whole process. The glass was delayed a littile, because of their vendor. When they came out to install, the installer noticed a significant imperfection in the finish of one of the panels. Before the installed it, he asked how we felt about the imperfection from their vendor's processing. We decided to have their vendor do a replacement panel. Glass Dr. got the supplier to do a rush on the replacement panel. They come out and finished the job. I was very please with their Price, Quality, and most of all Service. I have already recommended Glass Dr to a friend of mine. Their previous bad reviews were the complete opposite of my experience.

My father passed away and left his house in Montebello with renters still residing on the property. The house is very old, built in 1926, and the windows were in very bad shape. My father replaced half the windows, but never got to replacing the last 9, which vary in shape and size. I called Glass Doctor and they came out, gave estimates, and told me how the install was going to go. My renters are like family, so I wanted them to be happy. I wanted them to be warm this Winter. They did a good job after all was said and done, however one of their employees who came out and did the measuring told my renters that they could replace moulding so the windows would look better. When it came time and my renters asked about it, the man told them that he never said such things! He was very rude to them! Also, they came and measured 3 times and still got some of the measurements wrong and they missed a window. They had to reorder the mis-measured windows and order the one they missed measuring. Dominic, who runs the place, felt badly about what happened and gave me the missed window at cost and waived installation cost for it. I also spoke to Dominic about how one of his men was rude to my renters and how he had promised them moulding. He said that this is the first time he's heard of his employees being rude, and that his men don't have the authority to do that and it could have been a miscomunication. To be fair, I wasn't there and I don't know what exactly was said. I live 2 hours away and have a hectic schedule. Also, the renters wanted to have their air conditioning window unit re-installed, and they said they wouldn't do it. I understand that the workmen are not going to do what renters want, so I talked to Dominic about all of this and I told him that my renters are like family and they want their home back the way it was. Also, they needed to be informed about everything they were going to do in their home. When they went back to finish installing the windows (it took about 2 days due to there being so many windows), they talked to the renters and explained everything to them. After all was said and done, everyone was happy. It was a bit of a difficult installation due to the window openings being uneven because the previous windows were installed poorly. They took care of that and made sure that the windows looked good and were properly installed. They even put the renters air conditioning window unit back into the window it was in. There were some bumps in the road, but all I had to do was take it to Dominic's attention, and he took care of it. Everything was done to everyone's satisfaction. Dominic was a professional and handled everything. I would do business with them again.

Excellent service. Glass was a perfect fit. A bit pricy for delivery but overall very happy with final results.

They first came in for the estimate, and oppose to the other company they convinced me that tempered glass will not look different from regular glass. All other windows have regular, not tempered, glass and I was concerned that after I replace one out of four adjacent windows, the difference will be noticeable. They were right, it is not noticeable. On the day of installation they arrived on time. They were careful with the furniture around the work place, and with the frames of the window. They even had a vacuum cleaner to clean after the work is done. They placed the glass nicely and sealed it perfectly. Very nice people.

The gentleman with whom I dealt with was very helpful. He did very good job of cutting up the mirrors. They were able to do a fairly good job at cutting the mirror. They saw to it that the mirrors were safe, sticking it with the double dash. They were timely. They did what they said they would do. We fixed those mirrors ourselves. I will use them in the future also.

My interaction with them was fine. They worked out, came out the next day and provided good service. Everything was fine and I would use them again.

Just got a quote, nothing stood out about them.

I have been extremely happy with them. They always do the highest quality work and their rates are reasonable. I could not recommend them highly enough. Dominick always returns calls promptly and does a wonderful job. They are realizable and I will absolutely use them again.

We were satisfied. My wife was here when he came and when I came back it was done. She said that he did a good job, and he came promptly and finished the job.

FANTASTIC. PHONE WAS ANSWERED PROMPTLY. I GAVE HIM MY INFO. HE CALLED ME BACK WHEN THE PARTS CAME IN. MY CAR WAS WORKED ON AS SOON AS I ARRIVED. THE TECH WAS VERY EFFICIENT.

In both instances, I called the Glass Doctor, and a guy came out to look at the damage and give an estimate within an hour. He took measurements, called the office and gave an estimate in a few minutes. After I agreed to the estimate, the guy gave me an estimated date that he would return to make the repair. On that date, I got a call asking if I would be home and they came when they said they would. The worker was clean, and cleaned up after himself. Both times were good experiences, I liked how Dominic (the owner?) used my name on the phone. It made me comfortable and it makes the experience more personal, like I'm not just a repair job number, but a person.

I had a crack that expanded ever so slowly in my windshield, when I couldn't stand it anymore. I took it to the Glass Doctor. The work was done in the estimated time. Insurance covered most of the cost. I had to go back because it had started to leak in the rain, they happily fixed it at that moment. I got in an accident and I needed another windshield and again they replaced it no problem. Both experiences were great. Even when I went back for the leak, the guys that work there are so nice, it didn't bother me to wait while they fixed it.
