Description of Work: They were contracted by the company from which I purchased the sliding door. They were to install a "t" astrical between the center openning doors. The installer did not know what he was doing, broke the screws ruined the astrical and it had to be replaced. The payment was made by the company that manufactured the door.

Description of Work: The service provider responded promptly and offered the time and dates I wanted. Dominic explained that the coupon only covered the labor; glass and other materials were extra, and I felt that the cost for the repair of one window, including the cost of the coupon was higher than I wanted to pay. The service provider was courteous and polite,when I asked for a refund of this coupon.

Description of Work: I have wall-to-wall glass on one side of my living room. It's been up there for over 30 years and was starting to come off the wall. The Glass Doctor was very quick in their response to my emergency situation. I have wall-to-wall glass in my den also and will call the Glass Doctor again if that wall ever decides to come down, too.

Description of Work: I don't know how the cost compares to other companies. But George and Bud were so fast, that I had to call the company to get their names after they left. Very professional. They showed up right on time. Absolutely no traces of the broken glass left behind. One can dig around all they want to find a lower price. But you aren't going to find any better work. If there is a "next time" that I hit a golf ball through my glass doors, I will again call Glass Doctorx.

Description of Work: requested quote from vendor for a window replacement, was advised that they didn't maintain weekend hours and was quoted a price 2.5 times of the final price i ended up paying through another vendor. i will say however, that the gentleman that i spoke with was very helpful, professional and accommodating within the limits of company practices. if the pricing hadn't been so expensive i would have definitely used their services.

+ -1 moreI made an appointment by walking into the shop, and a service technician came to my home a few days later. He was not able to fix the shower door, but I was not charged for the visit. The technician contacted Dominic (either the owner or manager) who arranged to have their shower door installer, Carlos, come at a later time. I was told that the cost of the repair would be $180 if the central door only needed to be removed. If the entire door and side panels were removed, the cost would be $500. On the day of my appointment, it took Carlos about 25 minutes to figure out that the door was not closing properly because it needed to be elevated slightly with some plastic spacer thing. I was charged $180, the amount we agreed to. In retrospect, I am thinking that I should have negotiated for less because the solution was simpler than the original technician thought it would be. Nonetheless, I knew from what Dominic told me before that their minimum labor charge was $105.
Description of Work: I have a Sterling, neo-angle shower door with a magnetic closure. The shower door was not staying shut. Basically when you shut the door, it would pop open. We were keeping it shut by using a clamp (not too cool, right).
