It took Expo over 5 months to complete the job. Although we were satisfied with the final results, it was like pulling teeth to get the work done. We went through several contractors, had problems with workers not showing up, with defective materials. We had to order granite counter tops twice because the original piece was cut wrong. The refrigerator we wanted had a larger freezer. We ended up with a smaller freezer. Our kitchen now looks very nice but has drawers that are cute and useless, a design flaw that the Expo designer missed and we did not see until the drawers were installed. We would never use Expo again for installation.
Description of Work: We had our kitchen gutted and completely redesigned. The flooring was tiled, the appliances moved, the counters redone in granite, the cabinets replaced and moved around. The entire kitchen was taken to the bare walls. The only thing that was not moved was the plumbing.

I HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE GRANITE GOING ON BACK ORDER AND TAKING 2 MONTHS TO GET IT. THE INSTALLATION WENT GREAT AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINEERED HARDWOOD. THE INSTALLER APPEARED TO HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB, BUT 3 WEEKS AFTER INSTALLATION, PORTIONS OF THE FLOOR STARTED LIFTING. I CALLED EXPO, AND IT TOOK 4 WEEKS TO GET AN INSPECTOR FROM THE FLOORING MANUFACTURER TO INSPECT THE FLOOR. THE INSPECTOR DID NOT SHOW UP FOR THE FIRST APPOINTMENT. WHEN HE ARRIVED THE 2ND TIME, HE SAID THE ADHESIVE IS NOT STICKING TO THE MOISTURE BARRIER. I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM EXPO HOW THE FLOOR IS GOING TO REPAIRED. IT HAS BEEN 6 WEEKS SINCE THE PROBLEM WAS REPORTED.
Description of Work: I HAD GRANITE TILE INSTALLED IN MY KITCHEN AND ENTRY WAY. ALSO ENGINEERED HARDWOOD IN THE FIRST FLOOR OF MY HOME, ABOUT 900 SQUARE FEET.
