MIKE FLAATEN

Mike was great. He was responsive when we first called to schedule an appointment for him to come give us an estimate as well as when we contacted him with questions. He is very professional and does great work and is honest. He arrived on time and everything went as planned. We discovered he has done work for several of our neighbors which was great to know. We will definitely use his services again when we need electrical work done.

Mike was was responsive to the initial request for a quote. Once selected to perform the work he showed up on time and performed the work in a friendly professional manner. He cleaned up the work area when finished and was responsive to questions I had as the work progressed. I have already recommended him to a couple of neighbors

We bought a house and needed a variety of repairs made. Mike returned my initial call within hours and arrived promptly with his assistant at the appointment to inspect the scope of work. He followed up by e-mail with a clear written estimate and was responsive to questions about tasks. Mike and assistant Donovan arrived promptly for the repair appointment. They got right to work, were thorough, professional, tidy, friendly, and efficient. They kept me updated as to progress ("we'll do this first," "we're gonna start turning off the power now, are your computer batteries are okay for a while?" "we'll do that next," "this cover was grouted to the wall; I'll be as careful as I can, but it might show where I took it off"). Some items from the original estimate were done without charge: - corrected installation of an existing light switch instead of replacing the switch (estimated at $15). - came prepared to replace the broken doorbell (estimated at $75 to install new doorbell chime & transformer), diagnosed it as a short in the wiring that was not worth repairing, took down the old doorbell and recommended that I install a wireless doorbell myself - diagnosed & "repaired" kitchen light fixture (estimated at $65). Mike said the socket was loose, all he did was wiggle it and it worked. I had mentioned that I was considering replacing the fixture; he suggested not replacing the loose socket & wiring until I decide about replacing fixtures. They worked hard despite outdoor temperatures in the 90's and were all done in under 3 hours. Mike also answered my questions and made some suggestions for other projects I'm considering (overhead and task lights in the kitchen, overhead lights in the living room). I will gladly hire him again for future work.
