Description of Work: After giving feedback on the services performed, Kevin Shaw's team quickly moved to change my perspective. They sent out a senior person who quickly figured out the issue at no cost to me. As indicated in my review earlier, the people are indeed professional at Kevin Shaw but what was impressive was the quickness and seriousness in which my tough review was taken and addressed. I am glad that they addressed the miscommunication.

Description of Work: TOO expensive for the work performed. Total riff-off. Jeff Probst is a con man, with his side kick. Even emailed me his resume, not that I needed all that info, just to relight water heater. It took him all of 5 minutes tops to light the electronic pilot. Even had a student along who was being mentored, at my expense. Now to the part that knocked my socks off. The service charge was $89.00 just for coming, and to relight the pilot was $183.56, total $272.56 (maybe I was paying for the student too, without knowing it). "GOUGING/SWINDLING PLAIN AND SIMPLE" to me and I would not use them again. Mind you, the gas company would have done it for free, if I had not been impatience on waiting for the next appointment. SHOULD HAVE DONE MY RESEARCH. PLEASE DO RESEARCH BEFORE LETTING THESE GUYS COME IN YOUR HOME. So would I recommend Keven Shaw Plumbing. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I checked with a couple of plumbers later and was quoted $105.00, so yea I was gouged. And never offered a senior discount, even though website states it is available. Ugh.

Description of Work: I want to first mention that my 2 plumbers were Jose Flores and Kurtis Odom. Initially, they replaced the front hose valve and bib. In the process, Jose noticed that my mainline looked like it needed replacing and after showing me how the main water line was showing damage from years of wear and tear. Jose recommended that I replace it as soon as possible, if not by them, thru someone else (no pressure on me to choose them). Jose gave me a quote. I felt it was a little high, but his knowledge, professional work, and performance (spoke for itself), scheduled an appointment, and gave me an estimate of possibly 2 days work. As usual, he arrived before scheduled arrival, begun working as soon as he notified me that he had arrived, and actually (working as a team with Kurtis)completed the work that same day. As a matter-of-fact, Kevin Shaw even made an appearance to see how the work was coming along. He didn't stay long (wasn't necessary, right.. Kev?). The price was worth every penny. BTW, I had just completed some drought resistant work on my front yard and was concerned that they were going to mess it all up from the necessary digging, but when Jose and Kurtis were done,they both cleaned up after the work was completed. I couldn't even tell that they dug that area up. It's hard to find excellent service like this. I would most definitely recommend Kevin Shaw Plumbing to anyone needing a Plumber. Thanx Angie...

Description of Work: Contractor that understand they are hired through angie's list . Are abusive, this came only after I accepted to pay his desplacement fee and that in case I did not hire him. What he did not tell is that he can refuse to do the job but still be paid the eighty nine dollars, getting an estimation was promised, never came even after I was promised to be exorbitant. This is not the first time a contractor takes liberty with me when they know I got there name through you.
