The service provided was very low quality and is not recommended for others. This provider has serviced our AC for several years, and it took about 3 years to realize they were contributing to the problem: shame on me for not realizing earlier. The owner actually came and checked out his own employees work, who he found had installed the condenser fan motor backwards. For the first 9 years of running this AC at my house (and not using Craig during that time), I never once needed to replace the run capacitor. Then, on a record hot day in LA (113 degrees in Sept. 2010) the run capacitor blew, which is to be expected. I then had Craig replace the capacitor. This started 3 years of maintenance of our AC under the service of this vendor, and the capacitor needed to be replaced THREE times. When I mentioned this was excessive (perhaps due to poor quality capacitors), indicated my overall displeasure with the quality of service and asked them to honor their "100% satisfaction guarantee" by asking if they could simply cover the cost of the 3rd capacitor replacement in 3 years, the owner Rick actually laughed at me. His "satisfaction guarantee" as posted on his website is an empty promise. Also, beware of a company such as this, that uses multiple names. You will also find them under "Craig Mechanical Services." This should be a tip-off to their lack of professionalism. You have been warned.

I did not go with them as I thought they were overly priced. They were fine otherwise.

I had a major problem with my drain pipes backing up into my bath tub. The plumber came out and worked extremely hard to clear the main drain and explained that the problem was a major situation. He also took care of some smaller leaks in my house. I am very satisfied with the service and have been telling everyone I know about them.

THE ESTIMATE WAS LESS THAN THREE OTHER BIDS. IT TOOK THEM 2 MONTHS TO FINISH A JOB THAT THEY SAID WOULD TAKE THREE DAYS. IN THE PROCESS, THEY LEFT 3 GAS LEAKS, INSISTING THERE WASN'T ANY UNTIL WE CALLED THE GAS COMPANY TO CONFIRM. THEY ALSO LEFT A LARGE GAP IN THE VENT THROUGH THE ROOF, AND RAIN WATER POURED THROUGH. THEIR ATTEMPT TO PATCH THIS WAS TO PUT MASTIC ALL OVER THE SHINGLES. WE'VE SINCE HAD TO REDO THAT WORK OURSELVES. THEY DID REIMBURSE US $200 FOR THAT REPAIR. THE CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS TERRIBLE, THE CONDENSATION PIPE FOR THE AC WAS POKED OUT THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE, SPLINTERING THE SIDING. AC WAS INSTALLED IN THE ATTIC, AND THEY LEFT LOTS OF GARBAGE FROM THE TEAR OUT IN THE ATTIC FOR US TO REMOVE, AND TOSS.

THEY PROVIDE EXCELLENT SERVICE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY WERE HERE TWICE. THE FIRST GUY FIGURED OUT THAT THERE WAS A LEAK. THEY THEN SENT THE OWNER. THESE GUYS WERE THE BEST.
