COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Los Angeles

To their credit they did return with a different man and he cleaned them beautifully. The difference was night and day. So they are capable but not all employees are competent in my opinion. Too many recalls to be considered an outstanding, or even a good company to use in the future.

They cleaned my drapes one time, wall to wall, lined. They cleaned them while they were on the wall and pleated each pleat. They did an absolutely amazing job.

They came and gave me an estimate, took the drapes, cleaned, pressed, pleated them and came back and re-hung them. It is a very large drape that the local dry cleaner couldn't handle. They did a nice job.

The service people were very good--very accommodating and did a good job with the removal and installation. My only complaint is the price of $423.00 for the job seemed very high and this price was 40% off of the original estimate of $662.00 Also they included a $25.00 fee for transportation or some other service.

I'm very happy with them. The price is excellent, the service is excellent and they're very professional. I highly recommend them.

Coit is always reliable, thorough and affordable. They are my go to company for carpets. I've never used them to clean air ducts, tile or grout, but they'll be my first call with that time comes.

They are so nice. Whenever I have an issue with the carpet the come right back out to look at it. My experience has been excellent.

The guy did the steam cleaning on my carpets and after he finished he came to me and said the stains won't come out like he knew that all along. I wouldn't have appreciated knowing that up front before he did all of the work.

The technician was prompt. I had asked for an estimate in case the price was more than I could afford. The estimate was extremely reasonable, so he got started right away. He cleaned the air ducts and then asked if I would like the dryer duct cleaned, too. It was also very reasonable and had not been done for awhile, so I said Ok. He got started, but had problems with his equipment. He had to return the next day to finish the job, but didn't charge any extra since the problem was his.? I was very impressed with his professionalism and care for me and my home.

Nice people. Lousy work. The employee was very nice and very enthusiastic about the company. Unfortunately, hours later, my sofa still is soaking wet (and its 80 degrees out). I'm thinking of using my blow dryer on it. Also, he didn't clean at all in the crevices of the couch (when the cushions were removed) so I've had to vacuum it myself. What's worse is that he sprayed solution pretty indiscriminately so that it was on my walls and my wood floor and then tracked water througout the den and living room so that I've had to clean the wood floors. Next, a different individual came by to rehang the drapes they had taken last week to clean (8 panels). This employee was great and did a great job rehanging the drapes. It wasn't until after he left that I noticed that four of the panels that are a cotton/linen blend and were 96and quot; are now hanging 2and quot; off the floor - they used to just touch the floor. I measured and they've literally shrunk 2and quot; to 94and quot;. Since I'm not going to move the heavy drapery rods, I'm either going to have to live with it or get new drapes. I'm really not happy at all with this entire experience.

Terrible experience and very stressful.

I requested an appointment on the website, based on the windows they had available in the drop down box. They called me and did not want to honor a morning appointment and wanted to dictate to me when they would come. I was willing to push the appointment out in order to get a morning window, but eventually just dealt with their scheduling issues in order to get an estimate. The guy who ultimately came out for the estimate was nice, but the call center people were rude. I would have let him do it then, but you have to tell them up front when you make the appointment that you want the estimate and to do the work on the same day...but they won't give you a price over the phone. My thought was that if I committed to doing the work before getting the price, they would charge whatever they want -- this seemed shady to me. I decided to let them do the work, anyway, since I liked the guy who gave the estimate and just wanted to get it done, thinking they are probably good with the work, since they specialize in duct cleaning...but they changed the appointment on me and left a voice message to dictate my new time (again, afternoon, even though I would have been willing to wait until a morning appointment became available). I called them back to tell them I decided to go with someone else. The next day, a manager called me and was very aggressive and rude, telling me I had committed to go with them. He asked why I chose someone else, but he didn't really want to listen to me. If he was genuinely interested in my business, he could have had it -- his interaction with me over the phone sealed the deal. I don't think I will ever do business with COIT.

I've used Coit Cleaning and Restoration three times over the past 6 or 7 years. They sent the same guy each time so he knew our house and the problems we had. So he was really nice and he was prompt. If he wasn't going to be there that day he called. I really appreciated his service. He did a good job too.

Very well, would use again needed the heater vents cleaned for health reasons.

Not well - I did not move forward with the project.

Coit has extremely bad customer service. Over the course of the year, they canceled 3 times for stone and tile work. Today we were told we were the first client on the service list and the window was between 8 to 10 AM. The technician showed up 6 minutes to 10:00 and the their excuse was that they had to come from Monrovia. So the window was totally false and wasted not only our (almost) 2 hours, but would have the same effect on each customer after us. If they have to come from Monrovia either leave earlier or say we leave at 8:00am and it will take anywhere between an hour and a half, to an an hour and three-quarters to reach RPV from Montovia. When the manager finally returned our complaint call, he was rude and wanted to argue the justification...a total non point, because not taking the time of departure and the distance in to account means there can be no realistic expectation of an 8 o'clock arrival. Coit Service??? more like Coit Dis-service.

They were always upfront. They were very good and did a good job. We have Coit come three times to clean our carpets. They were courteous and kind. Now we have stone shores so it is not likely that we are going to be using them in the future.

the representative was most courteous & nice. we tried to get a lower rate since the total floor area was really small but he said that it's their basic charge already. so we agreed to the $150, signed the papers & he started the work. we were happy with the results & it was really clean & felt clean to walk on barefoot afterwards.

I was very pleased with them. They did what they said they would. The result was perfect.

After requesting service for a dryer vent cleaning, I received a call from Kathy at Coit to set up a date and ask questions about my needs.....the Coit serviceman arrived on time and performed the cleaning thoroughly....I have a combination washer/dryer so it wasmore challenging than the average dryer.....I was very happy with the entire process from request to cleanup.

They were on time. They cleaned up and it worked great.

The overall experience was excellent. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would use this company again.

It’s a very large house. I have never checked the price with the competition. I have been using them for a number of years and I thought their price was a little bit high, but overall they do good work. They showed up on time and they worked efficiently. There are a few spots that have come back and I don’t know if it’s the cleaning or just normal in worn areas of the carpet. Overall it was clean when they left.

I called COIT to give me an estimate for cleaning and sealing the grout in my flloor tile. They told me it should be color-sealed. I also got an estimate for cleaning my couch. The estimate was really high for everything but they told me it would take their crew all day to do it so I thought it would be worth it. They came on a Saturday and it only took two guys 4 hours to get it all done. The couch was fine, but I noticed the grout had some areas where the color was not uniform. It looked almost white in some places and the grout color chosen was a darker mushroom color. I asked the guy in charge if this was because it was still wet and he said yes. The next day after everything was nice and dry I took a good look at everything and saw that there were white sections of grout all over the place. The color was definitely not 100% uniform as promised. Also, in several places where the grout lines intersected with the white floor moulding, there were dark spots where they had hit it but didn't wipe it off. I called COIT explaining the problems and made an appt for them to come back out. During the week someone from COIT called and left a message asking why they had to come back. I called that person back and left a message telling them (again) what the problem was. On the day they were supposed to come back, they never showed up and never called. I called them back and left a message, finally someone called me back and had no good reason for why they had completely blown off our appt. He thought his guy in charge might have been sick. He also said he would provide some compensation for my trouble. I made another appt and had to take a day off work to be there. Two guys showed up looked around and spent 1/2 hour touching up the grout with a toothbrush. They applied it so thickly in some places the grout line looks wider than it should. They tried to clean off the dark spots on the floor moulding but it wouldn't budge so I was told to touch it up myself with paint. It's been over 2 months and I never received any compensation. They did a really bad job, I feel they are dishonest and I would never call them again for anything.

I am satisfied with all aspects of services provided by Coit.
